Pros:

Clears up my acne very quickly, easy to apply, dries fast

Cons:

10 days ago I would say no cons what-so-ever, however, recently it has been drying/itchy/making my face red.

I started this product September 2007 and it cleared up my acne right away, I had no problem with it. It expired (due to 120day shelf life) and I went 3 weeks using no acne medication and developed acne again. I went to the doctor 4 days ago and renewed my prescription and it is now causing my face to become red, itchy, and extremely dry, very irritating!! But other than that, it gets rid of my acne and thats all I ask for! Cost $44, but insurance covered it.

Pros:

This stuff works crazy fast. Within 3-4 days all my pimples were gone, and i believe till now its still preventing new ones from coming up
Drys really fast

Cons:

Short shelf life, but not so short that it will expire before your done using it
Expensive for people who dont have health plans

They stuff is really powerful, it really works well and fast, and luckily i dont have any reactions to it. I use it at night with no other products. Do not use during the day, and moisturize during the day. Exposure to sunlight will damage skin with on this product. I havnt experienced much bleaching.

Pros:

Seems to be working but can't say for sure as I just started using it 4 days ago. However, my sister said my face looks much better and she asked if I was wearing makeup (which I wasn't!) and that was after only 3 days of use.

Cons:

Somewhat expensive but hopefully my insurance will cover it! Either way, still cheaper than many other products on the market.

The reason I wrote this review (my first ever) is not necessarily to rate the efficacy of the product as I haven't given it enough time to work yet. I wanted to write the review as I have experienced little to no dryness or redness from the product as of yet (and I was fully expecting to so I planned to stay in for a few days). I believe the reason for this is because I always wait ~15 min after I wash my face before applying the product. Your skin will absorb less of the product this way but at least side effects are minimized. Please try this before giving up on the product as this method may work for some.

Pros:

Used clindoxyl in combination with proactive had mild acne cleared it up.

Cons:

It took several weeks to see results (4 weeks). Only had a few zits (3-4) after a week of using the product I could count 15 new ones! Skin became dry, flaky and red.

Affordable used this product with procative 3 in one solution. Clindoxyl at night and the 3 in one procative solution during the day. White heads are gone and scars are clearing.

Pros:

It worked really, really well for the first year or so.

Cons:

After the first year, I've began struggling again with acne. I find Clindoxyl doesn't let the acne come to the surface, so I always had permanent white bumps under my skin - they weren't especially visible, but I could see them.

When you first use it, it will turn your entire face red. I found this out the hard way - ended up going to school looking like I had the weirdest sunburn ever (and people noticed)! But once your skin gets used to it, it goes away. I found that due to using this, my skin was never smooth, there were always bumps and it always felt 'rough'. I have been using this for almost two years and felt that it just wasn't helping that much anymore. It did work REALLY well for the first while and I do recommend it. Just be careful to hide out for the first few days if you don't want people to ask why you look like someone poured tomato soup on your face (true story!)

Pros:

it works great! Takes a little while, but it clears up zits and gets rid of excess oil! I've seen a complete difference, people always look at me now and say, "wow ... you're skin is really cleared up ... no offence." None taken!!!:)

Cons:

dried out my skin and made it itchy. But i strated applying a moisturizer a little while after i put it on and that fixes that problem.

a bit pricy, and you'll need a good moisturizer, but so far the best thing ive tried.

Pros:

-Doesn't smell after application
-Works WONDERS
-Doesn't overdry skin

Cons:

-A tad expensive if you don't have health insureance of live in Canada like me :D

BEST cream ever. Hands down. I started getting acne in grade 9, and this is the first thing that I ever used. The doctor prescribed it, and I love it. I love it most because it PREVENTS acne from coming! I apply twice a day, (morning and night) and as long as I don't miss any spots, I never get ANY pimples! Sometimes my skin's dry, but if you have some lotion you'll be fine!

Pros:

This product works very well. My acne cleared up within a week. This is the only topical acne treatment that actually helped.

Cons:

It can make your skin a little red and dry at first, so do not apply too much, a thin layer will do. Also, it is a little expensive.

I've been using this cream for over a year and I will continue to use it because it is amazing.

Pros:

Worked. Plain and simple. Got rid of my junk.

Cons:

No, cons so far. But, I've been reading the comments and people say it comes back if you stop...that sucks. I haven't stopped so can't tell.

Good stuff that got rid of my acne. Although, my face wasn't really that bad. Just small stuff that i couldn't get rid of but the gel worked. Sucks if you don't have insurance though. Cost me $40.oo.
