Pros:

You only use a little but, but it goes a long way. Large tube is worth the money. Made skin worse after 1 week, but after that, skin is glowing and super smooth. Totally worth trying!

Cons:

It did make my skin oily and worse, but the derm. warned me about that and said to stick through it. I did and my skin looks great!

It might not be for everyone, but worth trying. I have never had good skin. During high-school it was really bad. Skin was ok in my 20s, but still broke out. Once I hit 30, my skin became worse, so I tried Ziana out and I was nervous due to all the reviews, but I am so glad I did! They give you a huge tube, so it will last forever and if you have good insurance, it's reasonably priced. I say give it a shot!

Pros:

worked wonderfully - even vanquished the cystic acne in the hollow of my jaw that had been there for years! With a once a day application, the tube lasted a very long time.

Cons:

the price because Oxford didn't cover it, and the smell (smells like dog food, but it goes away after it dries)

Totally worth it. When combined with BenzaClin and Nicomide tablets, this regimen is the only thing that has cleared my skin completely in years. Cystic acne is totally gone!

Not for me
My background: One to two zits in high school, nothing ever serious. Started college and I started getting this huge cysts around my chin and on my cheeks (definitely hormonal acne). Ziana showed really great results for me within the first two weeks and my skin was super soft! After that HUGE cysts came up everywhere. I've never be so self conscious in my entire life, I avoided contact and never went out on the weekend. As a college student, my skin should be the least of my worries, but it started to take over my life. My derm said that the cream would bring everything to the surface and I would see results around 3 months. Well, month 3 came around and my skin was the worst it's ever been. I stopped using Ziana and my skin looked better just after ONE day. (Not clear obviously, but the size in my zits went way down) I'm sure this is the miracle drug for some people, but it's just not for me.

Cleared my skin

Pros:

Cleared my skin
Worth it

Cons:

Pricey
Takes a while to see results

In Canada, it's actually called Biacna. I'm a 18 years old girl with moderate/severe acne that wouldn't ever go away. I've tried benzyl peroxyde, accutane, clindamicin and salycilic acid, but nothing ever worked. I've been using it for a while now (at least 6 months) and, at first, I didn't see any results... but after 3 months did I see improvement. Now, I only get the occasional pimple, all my acne is gone. This treatment made wonders with my skin and is totally worth the wait.

Pros:

Saw immediate results. It is thin & goes on smooth. It isn't sticky like other products I've used in the past.

Cons:

The only real con for me is the smell - but I'm so sensitive in that area. It is tolerable, but I have to wash my hands immediately because it seemed to permeate from them!

I had a real issue with cystic acne for 8+ years. At my age, I need to be worried and fighting against wrinkles NOT acne! After I was finished having children, I did an accutane like product for 6 months. That dried my skin out in places that I didn't know could be dried out. My skin was so dry that the regular pimples/acne couldn't heal and my face looked like a hot mess. I started using Ziana 1 week after my time was up with the accutane. My face healed up incredible, my oil production went back to normal {I normally have oily skin} and my overall complexion has been crazy clear!! This stuff does give you an extra glow/dewy like look. Everyone wants to know what I'm doing differently. After using expensive skincare regimens, I now use Aveeno Positively Radiant cleanser & Aveeno Ultra Calming Moisturizer morning and night. I use a pea-size amount of Ziana after I moisturize at night. I might get a teeny-tiny something like zit around that time of the month, but it is gone with in a day. I've been using Ziana for several months and have not missed a dose. This stuff is amazing. AND I'm using what I consider cheap skincare with it. It could be because of the accutane I used before, but I would recommend Zianna.

Pros:

decreases pore size and small lines in face almost disappear. Refines skin texture. Firms skin tone.

Cons:

a bit drying, but ok if moisturerizer is used.

I am a 63 year old woman who has always taken great care of my skin. I have never had pimples. I noticed the pores on my nose and chin and forehead got much larger when I went through menopause. My dermatologist recommended Ziana. I use a small amount all over my face daily and have noticed a big change. My skin has a youthful and refined texture again and small lines have all but disappeared. My skin is firmer and has a youthful glow. I look years younger. This is a wonderful anti-aging drug!

Pros:

Affordable with my insurance. Easy to apply. Cleared some of my pimples overnight.

Cons:

A slight weird smell.

I cannot believe the difference in just one week. This product was prescribed to me with Solodyn also. I use a small amount at night. I did apply a spot treatment on a particularly bad cystic acne spot one morning & felt it really helped...what would take weeks to clear, cleared up in 4 days. I have hormonal acne at age 48. I had tried OTC remedies for the last 3 months with no success. I wish I had gone to the dermatologist right away. This product is wonderful.

Pros:

Evens out skin tone, wrinkle fighting people will notice if you give it time how well your skin looks

Cons:

purging process, oily to dry skin.

I tried isolaz and it didnt really work. That Doctor said I would benefit from a retinol. My derm said isolaz is just a temporary fix and retinol is best bet(ziana).Once purging is done it will work all the time and is recommended for use all the time..I'm on week 6 now and it is slowly starting to work..SKIN DOES ADJUST Heres how i managed Week1-3 apply 2-3x oily skin but no new acne Week 4 Apply 5x M-F bad purging week 5 Apply M-F clearing up fast week 6 Apply M-F bad purging (again) I here after this I'm in the clear. I've read it gets bad then good then bad then slowly your in the clear. I can feel it working. this is he only way to do it and probably the best way tips: moisture after morning wash, apply ziana at night(very little) DO NOT USE WITH SALYCIC ACID WASH. Facial scrub 2x a week, and anti-inflamatory shampoo daily(head and shoulders) Good luck! be patient

Pros:

It was free because my derm gave me a ton of samples.

None other for me.

Cons:

Provokes break outs, leaves big red blotches and open-sore-like spots, dries out skin completely.

I gave this product a rating of two instead of one because yes, it's true, after the hell of my ENTIRE FACE drying out completely, getting break outs in new places, and being red, itchy and burny for like a week, once the skin finally sheds away my "new skin" looked nice. For a few days. Then oil production started again. I don't really have oily skin but I still break out so my derm recommended it and after using it three times weekly for a month and just going through the same peeling cycle I gave up. This was not for me. I can only imagine this helping people with INSANELY oily skin...seriously, it's crazy how strong the stuff is.
