Pros:

I found this product to be very affective. I noticed a change for the better in for weeks. My complexion is clear and I just love the texture of my skin from this product.

Every skin condition is different and results may vary in the time it takes to clear your skin. I will continue use of the product and will recommend this product. I am very happy with the product and love my new complexion.

Pros:

Cleared my skin, does not burn or irritate, no peeling, does not make my skin feel super tight like other acne treatments i've tried.

Cons:

none

I'm 17 years old and I've been dealing with acne since I was 13. My skin is very sensitive and has a tendency to be kind of oily around my nose; but the weird part is, I only break out on my chin and forehead. I've tried almost everything advertised on television: Proactive made my skin burn and felt tight and did not help at all. Neutrogena was awful, burned instantly and caused these little red bumps on my cheeks. Acne free also burned and basically had the same results as Proactive and Neutrogena. About mid February of this year, 2009, I decided it was time to go see a Dermatologist which he then prescribed me "Ziana". At first, I was pretty skeptical about it since it's a gel and I thought "How is this going to clear my face? wouldn't it clog my pores even more?" --WRONG! I'm acne free now! It's so simple: I apply warm water to my face, pat dry, and apply the gel all over my face. Next morning, my face feels smooth! especially when rinsing.

Pros:

Worked quickly
Doesn't overdry skin
Helps even out skin tone

Cons:

none

In my case, ziana gel has worked very well. It doesn't overdry my skin & my derm explained to me that ziana gel can be mixed with moisturizer & not interfer with the medication's effectiveness. This is a crucial fact to know because mixing the medication with moisturizer helps eliminate overdrying problems & the sticky feeling that the gel can have on your face. Everyone must understand that each person's body & acne are going to react differently to different acne treatments. But the bottom line is treating acne doesn't just involve smearing a cream on your face at night. You have to put in the man hours to make it really work. My derm instructed me to buy panoxyl to wash my face. I opted for the 2.5% facial formula & it's worked well. I also use a cleansing mask once a week to help draw out trapped bacteria. I wear makup that is least likely to bother my skin & remove it as soon as I come home. I use the walmart brand facial hydrating cloths to remove my makeup & for quick cleansi

Pros:

worked fast. face is clear and looks amazing!

Cons:

very dry at first and now a few dry spots that face lotion cures.

I can't believe how amazing this product is! I used to get bad hormonal acne around my mouth. After reading all the reviews, I was SO SCARED to use Ziana but it cleared my face entirely in 2 weeks. I will get a small pimple every now and then now but it goes away in a day with Ziana. Doctor gave me a coupon so it was cheap. I am so happy!

Pros:

My face is smooth and cleared up the white/black heads quite quickly.

Cons:

A bit expensive since my health insurance won't cover it. Still I think is worth it, since the tube will last a few months if used as directed.

Been using it in combination with Doxycycline. So far is I've been under treatment for 2 months. My skin looks younger and friends have noticed the difference. Highly recommended. Economically it's a sacrifice, but you won't regret it after you see the good results.

Pros:

Took care of my acne in about six weeks. The absolute best thing that ever happened to me as far as getting my skin to look normal

Cons:

none

I am only posting on this website because it was such a resource for me when I was dealing with acne. I am 26 years old and have had acne since I was about 11. My acne came in spurts, it would be okay for a little while (two or three pimples at a time) and then it would explode, 10-15 pimples at a time. Most of these were deep cysts that lasted for months at a time. I finally switched drs and started getting regular facials. Ziana did wonders for me and still is ten months later. I highly suggest giving it a shot. Mine was free with the rebate from my insurance so look into that with your dr.

Pros:

44 year old mom. Have had mild acne for years. My face was nothing but a mass of bumps. Within a week, cleared up with once daily, nighttime use. My skin is naturally very oily. I got very little redness or dry skin. It has done a great job.

Cons:

None

I'll continue to use the product as long as the doctor will prescribe.

Pros:

Clearer skin within a few weeks. Not only does it prevent skin from breaking out but it also helps any acne that comes out disappear faster. Also decreased the amount of white heads dramatically.

Cons:

None.

This product improved my skin dramatically. When combined with the clarisonic brush (used with cetaphil soap) my acne completely disappeared. I have gone months without any acne. I recomend that skincare regimen for anyone who has skin problems.

Pros:

once a day application
clear gel - no residue
effective!

Cons:

slightly drying

As a woman about to turn 30, I began getting mild to moderate adult onset acne first on my chin, then on my cheeks. I also began getting painful cystic acne. I finally went to a dermatologist, who prescribed Ziana. He said it would be perfect to deal with my acne as well as address any anti-aging concerns I was having. I use a pea-sized amount at bedtime and ensure that I use a facial serum in conjunction with a moisturizing cream by Burt's Bees during the day, as it has a drying effect. I cleanse with Cetaphil morning and night as my skin is very sensitive. This regimen is working beautifully. My cystic acne and any whiteheads/blackheads were gone within 2 weeks. I still have some red spots on my face from prior breakouts, but they will fade eventually. Ziana has worked wonders for me. My skin is not only clear, but looks fresh and radiant with no peeling or flaking. It's worked better than Retin A Micro or Differin, which I've used in the past. I highly recommend this.
