Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

Dries out skin. Made acne worse.

My derm said this was the best prescription out there. I got it in the beginning of July and now it's September and it probably has made my acne worse. And we already had picture day.

Pros:

I have been on it a week, and it has cleared my face up significantly....

Cons:

My face is so dry, it's peeling, cracking, and hurts to the touch or even if I wash it with no soap and just water....

The vote is still out for me....I have dry skin, and peeling up to my eyballs, everything, and I mean everything that I put on my face goes through about twenty to thirty minutes of burning before it will calm down, including water....I have been on it a week, and I can tell my face is clearing up, and I don't really see any color changes with my skin, but I don't know how much of the dryness I can handle...I go back to the doctor in about 2 weeks, and I will see what he says about what kind of facial moisterizers I need to use because this is really really really bothering me....

Pros:

Smoother skin in one week.

Cons:

Oily skin. Purging.

I can feel that this stuff has already started to help my acne in one week. It is not really that noticable, bc I still have alot of red marks, but Ive noticed that it brings pimples to the surface in the form of smaller whiteheads. Use it at night because it causes skin to clear out oil and impurities. I think that after about 4-6 weeks my skin will be noticeably clearer. Persistence is key with this stuff.

Pros:

Fast results, as least in my case. Skin completely clear in problem areas in less than a week. Not very drying at all when combined with a good moisturizer.

Cons:

Not sure yet. Have to be careful with sun exposure?

I have been on Ziana for about 6 days. I am hoping that if anything adverse was going to happen, it would have happened by this point. I am 26 and had moderate acne when I was a teenager. I did Accutane at a young age and that saved me; no problems for the past ten years or so. I started breaking out on my forehead and chin this year, mostly blackheads/whiteheads. I went to a dermatologist last week and she put me on a regimen to include Ziana at night. In the AM and PM I use something called Lipid Drops from Cosmedical, which is an amazing product to help retain moisture. Remember to use Ziana SPARINGLY. The doctor told me the two teeny tiny sample tubes will last a month. I bet a lot of reactions come from using too much. I had a tiny bit of peeling the first two days, and feel a little dry at night, but I don't care. It's working!!

Pros:

It makes your skin smooth, clears it up.

Cons:

Purges your skin, takes a long time to see results.

I've been using this for about 6 or 7 weeks. I'm wishing that my Derm. would've given me something else. I'm sure it does work (Slowly, but surely). But, not everyone has the time or patience to get rid of acne! It's been making me rather annoyed~ARGH. Haha, anyway- no peeling or redness for me when I use it (I have oily skin). I'm noticing now that there's just red spots, scars and some milia. Since the purging is over, Ziana should completly clear me up within at least a week! I'm hoping that it won't get my hopes up just to have them broken- we all know how that feels. Just a word of caution- MAKE SURE YOU WEAR SUNBLOCK WITH IT!! I went to the beach for 30 min.s and when I came back to our inn, I had a 2nd degree burn on my nose. It is extremely painful and I don't want anyone else to go through what I did! WOW, Wall o' text, much? I'll write another review when my 12 weeks is up! Pray for me, haha!

Pros:

I think this works quite well and didn't dry out my skin or make it red/irritated. However I am male with pretty thick/oily skin so maybe other people experience more drying etc...I only had mild/moderate acne but it definitely helped clear me up...

Cons:

Maybe expensive without insurance. Takes a few weeks to work.

Definitely worth a shot. Used it consistently and got results. With insurance only cost me 30.00 and you get a very big tube that seems like it will last a long time!

Pros:

Spreads easily, you only need a little bit, reduced oilines

Cons:

purging purging purging

I'm currently taking ziana while on doxycycline. It started making me break out a lot more than before but that's what's supposed to happen (so says my derm.) Let's hope it works!

Pros:

It WORKS! After 13 years of adult acne, it cleared my face in ONE WEEK just using the samples the dr. gave me.

Cons:

Because I am over 35yrs old, my insurance won't pay for it and I cannot afford $294 per tube.

I guess I'll learn to live with acne. What good is a product if no one can afford to buy it?

Pros:

Clear skin. Reduced Red Marks/Scars. Smoother Skin.

Cons:

May irritate the skin or have a burning sensation if too much is used. Only a thin amount is required.

I've been using this for about 2 months and my skin is drastically clearing. The first few weeks I didn't see a change in my skin and I was really skeptical. But with daily use my skin started clearing fast. I had red marks/scars & pimples and both are greatly reduced now. I've heard & read that you should give it at least 3 months (12 weeks) to really see a difference... I really believe this because I'm going on my 3rd month and everyone tells me how much better my skin looks. So Glad My Derm Prescribed This!
