Pros:

bottle lasts a long time, like that its a combo therapy... didnt dry me out too terribly

Cons:

sticky, could only wear at night.... made me a bit oily when i put on in the morning

I used it at night in conjunction with aczone and antibiotics. My cystic acne cleared about 70% but something in my regimen left me with hyperpigmentation (im white). ziana definitely made my skin softer and i do believed it helped to some degree... starting accutane in 4 weeks because acne is mild but persistant. reccommend for those who have mild non-cystic acne

Pros:

Only have to use a tiny amount and only at night. Works quickly.

Cons:

I am a week into it and it is making me peel like a lizzard so my Derm has me use it every other day.

Its a really wonderful product although its A. Probably going to get worse before it gets better drawing out all the stuff under the skin and well the redness and flaking are annoying at first it goes away. Do wear sunscreen with this product! The peeling can make your face extra sensitive to the sun and make the redness worst or burn.

Pros:

Took care of my acne in about six weeks. The absolute best thing that ever happened to me as far as getting my skin to look normal

Cons:

none

I am only posting on this website because it was such a resource for me when I was dealing with acne. I am 26 years old and have had acne since I was about 11. My acne came in spurts, it would be okay for a little while (two or three pimples at a time) and then it would explode, 10-15 pimples at a time. Most of these were deep cysts that lasted for months at a time. I finally switched drs and started getting regular facials. Ziana did wonders for me and still is ten months later. I highly suggest giving it a shot. Mine was free with the rebate from my insurance so look into that with your dr.

Pros:

44 year old mom. Have had mild acne for years. My face was nothing but a mass of bumps. Within a week, cleared up with once daily, nighttime use. My skin is naturally very oily. I got very little redness or dry skin. It has done a great job.

Cons:

None

I'll continue to use the product as long as the doctor will prescribe.

Pros:

None.

Cons:

Worst topical gel I ever used. I had mild acne before I used this, and it ruined my skin. I still have scars from all the breakouts it's caused me, and it's been two years since I've used it.

DO NOT USE.

Pros:

Clearer skin within a few weeks. Not only does it prevent skin from breaking out but it also helps any acne that comes out disappear faster. Also decreased the amount of white heads dramatically.

Cons:

None.

This product improved my skin dramatically. When combined with the clarisonic brush (used with cetaphil soap) my acne completely disappeared. I have gone months without any acne. I recomend that skincare regimen for anyone who has skin problems.

Pros:

It clears up the pimples and keeps them under control. It also lightened some of the scars from previous pimples.

Cons:

Price was extremely high with perscription, (also we switched insurance so it doesn't cover perscriptions, so i may only have had the price issue because of this. Not a lot of gel in the tube and takes a while to work.

Ziana gel, is a big step up from gels you can buy from CVS and Wallgreens without a perscription. It works fairly quickly, however in my case it works very well for the first few days, clearing everything up, and then it begins to work much much slower as my skin gets used to it. It lightens some scars left over by previous acne. The price was very high, almost as much as a pair of shoes so that was a little dissapointing, but I think had i not switched insurances and had prescription coverage it would have been more affordable.

Pros:

Omg this product Ziana, is amazing. It has clear my acne almost completely. I had moderate going into severe acne. I had lost hope until a friend referred me to a dermatologist who prescribed me Ziana.

Cons:

Its kind of expensive, but well worth is. use a coupon.

It took about at least 6 weeks to see full results. so be patient. your acne does get worse before it gets better though, but don't loose faith. it will come through for you. use it at bedtime only after washing face with a mild soap. preferably one that contains glycolic acid which is great for sensitive skin. all i have left are my scars but will go away with time and chemical peels once a month and microdermabration from a dermotologist office. I was also prescribed doxyclyclin , but i honestly think it is that Ziana that has given me 90% 0f my great results. but before chemical peels stop using Ziana for 2 days before peel and all benzoyl products . you can continue ziana and benzoyl products a couple of days after chemical peel treatment depending on how strong the peel you get. It worked for me. and i cant wait till my next peel to help fade away my pock marks and scars.

Pros:

Seems to be working so far, my skin is clearer that it has been in 8 months or more.

Cons:

At first my skin got worse, much worse. I went back to the derm because it got so bad. They told me to continue that the product was clearing out the bacteria in my skin. I have notice oily skin by the middle of the day.

Although I am now battling red acne spots on my face I don't seem to be breaking out nearly as much as I was. I do get a few small zits now and then. Before I would wake up every day with 2 or 3 new ones. Ziana hasn't helped any with the redness from the acne which I really didn't expect it too. Overall I am happy with this product.

Pros:

Has made my pores very small. Keeps me from getting any kind of breakout.

Cons:

only use it at night. Sunlight makes skin sensitive. My doctore told me that before i began taking the product. Great advice.

Since using this product i no longer wear any type of foundation or make up cover up, and ive worn make up since i was 16. I get compliments on my skin all of the time.
