Pros:

Goes on easily
No odor
Didn't dry out my skin
Comes in a large tube that lasts a long time
Got rid of large cysts

Cons:

Significantly increased the oiliness of my skin
Takes a long time to work
Still get some pimples

I didn't get the dry, red, flaky skin that others have been talking about when using this product. I didn't get that at all actually. What Ziana did was greatly increase the oiliness of my skin overall - yuck! I had oily skin to begin with and now when I wear make-up I have to blot every hour. I have been using Ziana for about 12 weeks and haven't had any large cysts during that time, but still get random pimples that don't come to a head. They annoy me. Oh well.

Pros:

Does not dry skin.
Reduces acne.

Cons:

Makes skin slightly red.
Makes skin sensitive to sun.

This medication takes the top layer (like Tazorac), but also delivers an antibaterial dose, so it's not as irritating. This is my favorite topical medication. I only use it at night.

Pros:

-FREE with coupon from dermatologist
-Cleared ME up instantly
-I use an extra dab in the morning on pesky, dominant acne, and it is like a spot treatment- works very well
-Shrinks pores
-My skin feel soft and silky (Really it does)

Cons:

-Is EXTREMELY expensive without insurance. About $60 with my insurance, not bad for this "miracle worker" (according to me)
-It looks like an oily gel, which confused me at first, because I was assuming it would be a cream. The texture is just different from what you're used to, but I dont think that is a con necessarily

This product has absolutely worked for me! I would recommend it to anyone, but keep in mind that everyone is different, so what works for me might not work for you!

Pros:

Inexpensive with rebate card, tube lasts a long time, non-drying, doesnt stain clothes. Helps speed up the fading of red marks.

Cons:

Isn't a quick fix but nothing is. Expensive after rebate card.

I have been using Ziana at night for 7 weeks. I also use Klaron in the morning and am taking 115mg Solodyn and 100mg Spironolactone. I had the Ziana in my cabinet for 2 months before actually using it because I was terrified of the horrible purging many experienced. I have a lot of hyperpigmetation and some scarring from cystic acne after my pregnancy. The regimen overall seems to be getting me under control. I have noticed my red marks fading much faster since I started using Ziana. I did not have a purging period but it didn't really clear up the acne I had either. Overall, I would recommend this product in combination with other oral medication and a morning topical for acne. Main highlight for me is that it helps fade red marks. Good luck!

Pros:

it works in ways that no OTC can possibly work.

Cons:

turns my pimples into flaky spots before they disappear--annoying b/c it's harder to cover flaky spots than zits! my derm suggested using only a pea-sized amount for my whole face. i find that if i use more than that, my skin becomes very irritated.

for me, the product works, as long as i use it consistently, and don't use so much of it as to irritate my skin. i did not have any oiliness issues as others have been reporting--if anything, it's helped to reduce my usually grease-bucket level of oil production. as long as my derm gives me the coupons (or my insurance decides to add it to their formulary), i'll continue to use it.

Pros:

Very powerful, doesn't irritate my eyes. Seems like this will be a great solution to my acne problems.

Cons:

Not a clear liquid so it is easy to see on the area getting treated. But if you are black, you wont have a problem.

It's good. Not to much money, but I would recommend the 25 off coupon from their website if you are strapped for money. The product itself does work, just not in a snap.

Pros:

First topical acne treatment that has actually worked!! I've used many different treatments from Retin-A Micro to Differin. This one has worked within a couple of weeks and isn't too drying or harsh.

Cons:

I have an HSA insurance plan--and without the rebate card from the company this medicine would have cost me close to $400. With the card, I got it for $25!

I have struggled with acne since my teenage years (I am now 29). This is the first medicine that has made an improvement on my breakouts. I will continue to use it and hope it continues to make my face more clear. Still has a ways to go.

Pros:

Somewhat controlled my breakouts.

Cons:

While I have always been on the somewhat oily side, Ziana made me excessively oily. So much so, that I could barely control it with powder or the blotting tissues. My husband kept stressing that I looked like a french fry. Very sad.

Hated it. Also, very expensive -- thank God I had a coupon otherwise it would have been too much even with insurance.
