Pros:

This is the only product that has ever cleared up my acne completely.

Cons:

I experienced rednress and drying for the first one-two weeks of use.

This is a great product! I highly recommend it.

Pros:

Clears up large pimples & small bumps.
Decreases redness.
Works quickly.

Cons:

Slightly dries out skin.

This is a great product! By the third day i noticed serious results. The little red bumps on my forehead that have plagued me for over a year finally began to disappear. Now, they are almost completely gone! This product worked even better on a large pimple that had appeared. It was reduced overnight and gone within the day. I have never used a product like this and I strongly recommend it! Just beware of the flakes you will get if you apply too much - just put on a good moisturizer and you will be fine.

Pros:

cleared up acne in 3 weeks, gets rid of zits fast, a lot of times over night

Cons:

i still get a few breakouts along the chin area, made my face dry for the first few days

i had severe acne(still havent gotten rid of my scars yet) and i just couldn't find anything to clear it up. I switched products every week sometimes every day. i didn't realize that this was making my acne worse. but now that i have thrown all my 50 other products out and stick to just this, a dove bar, and nuetrogena moisturizer i have basically cleared alll my acne. Make sure you use a moisturizer with sunscreen or else your face will get burnt. My one advice other than to DEFINETLY BUY THIS IS TO STICK TO IT. before switching try this for atleast a month. oh and also don't get discouraged when your face is extremly dry the first few days just use a good moisturizer and the dryness will be gone in like a week.

Pros:

It works and works fairly quickly.

Cons:

Dry skin, Peeling, Redness, Bleaches towels and clothing. Eventual resistance?

I used Benzaclin for over 5 years. It worked like magic until this last year. Initially, I went from moderate to severe inflammatory acne to pretty much flawless skin. Over the years, I moved a few times and tried to go off the medication each time I moved, but I would start breaking out and once I restarted Benzaclin my acne went away. Unfortunately, over the last year it has been less effective and I would get large inflammatory scarring lesions so I have switched medications. When I was used Benzaclin I was also using Cetaphil cleanser and Cetaphil daily facial mositurizer.

Pros:

I am 13 and I have never had acne before. I broke out over the summer because I didn't get enough sun.. But now its winter and I needed something to clear me up. My dematologist recommened this product! It has cleared my skin up AMAZINGLY :D.

Cons:

It burns like crazy the first few weeks..
Your skin is peely but only till it gets used to the product.
what acne treatment doesn't though?

It works GOOD :D I recommend it for people with severe acne. I didn't have that bad acne but it cleared it up FAST! like 2 months and I was good. I get a tiny pimple or just one big pimple everyonce in a while. If I don't pop it, it goes away in about 3 days.. You should try thisss :DDDDD

Pros:

I've had acne for over a decade. Benzaclin, if you use it, works pretty well. I hasn't cured my acne, but when I put it on twice daily it seem to make it clear up for the most part. I recommend it if you can live with the cons.

Cons:

*It bleaches towels, collars, pillows, etc. If I put it on my neck and then sweat or get wet somehow, it bleeds onto my clothes and has altered or almost ruined a lot of my non-white shirts. I hate that about this product.

It is effective if used correctly and regularly. No acne medicine is a magic bullet, so it really comes down to finding what works for you and living with the cons of the product (dry skins, peeling, irritation, expense, etc.). I like this product except for the bleaching. It is very annoying and has ruined a number of my shirts, towels, and pillows (much to the shagrin of my lovely wife).

Pros:

Benzaclin made my skin better after a week or so but it took a couple of months for me to see the full effect. After a couple of months went by, i didnt have any pimples except for a very tiny one here or there that would go away fast.

Cons:

Dryness, and peeling were the two cons for me. Moisturizer did help the dryness and peeling but my skin still felt a lil dry and flaky afterwards.

I use Benzaclin once a night and nothing else in the morning. I have been on Benzaclin for 6 months and i have to say it works great. I dont get pimples anymore but like i said my skin gets really dry and peels but moisturizer does help. I did try using it every other day so that i dont have to use moisturizer because it makes my skin look oily. By doing this, I found that my skin was no longer dry and didnt peel anymore, but it didnt work as good as it did when i used it everyday. After about a week i started getting a few pimples but i continued for a month but still kept on getting a few pimples so i started using it once evrery day again. So, Benzaclin works well but you will have to deal with dryness and peeling.

Pros:

Great stuff that works really well for me. Best topical I have ever had.

Cons:

Drys skin out. Need take breaks from it so it will continue to be effective.

It was 50 with insurance but lasts a while. I HIGHLY recommend it for oily skinned people with moderate acne.

Pros:

This stuff basically got rid of all my major breakouts. I do experience a few random, but tiny, pimples every now and then, but other than that all the obvious ones are gone, saving me from so many scarring possibilities.

Cons:

It doesn't get rid of actualy SCARS. Red marks are still there. Makes the skin really PALE... I do not like this because it makes me look kind of sick. Also bleaches fabrics.

I think it has made a huge difference, and it is the best I've used so far. I have tried Pro-activ, all the drug store products (neutrogena, clean and clear, oxy, clearisil.. etc) and this is the best product I have tried. When it comes to dryness, alll you need to do is use a lotion along with it, and it's completely fine. I've only used it for 3 months now, and will continue for another 3 months. I really don't like that it makes me pale. If you do not mind being pale, then it is definately perfect for you. Also, if you have insurance it's really worth it.

Pros:

Works really fast.

Cons:

Drys up face, works only for a short period of time, i think i've become immune to it. does not work in the long run.

NOT GOOD IN THE LONG RUN.
