Pros:

I have occasional pimples, but my face is so clear. i used every medication there is (proactive,differin,retin-a)This actually works. Within a few weeks i got people asking me how i improved my acne so fast! It really helps control acne

Cons:

I already have sensitive, dry skin,i've had exzema since i was 5, So it worsens my dryness. I don't know if i didnt already have dry skin, if it would make my skin drier. I just use cetaphil cream moisturizer(best lotion i have ever used)which helps.

Clears acne extremely fast. You need to try it . You wil not regret it. Benzaclin is like a miracle to my skin. Trust me i've tried everything, i was so self conscious because no one my age really has acne to the point i had it yet, so when i began using this product i was not self conscious anymore. Use it or its your loss!

Pros:

Still mixed feelings

Cons:

Burning, redness, peeling, drying, more breakouts

I used this along with differin at night. It makes me a bit red, some drying on skin and my chin started to break out more. My right cheek seems to be breaking out but I think the left one is healing. it kind of cleared up my upper lip and my temples. The forehead seems to remain the same. I've only been using it for 19 days, so I guess I'll stick it out for another month.

Pros:

The first night I put it on i found that the next morning all of my acne was gone.

Cons:

after using it for a while it some acne gets through it but it does block out alot.

I've had very bad acne for 3 years, and i know that acne can control your whole life, your friends will make fun of you, girls won't like you, but this product can change all that. Proactiv, Clean&Clear, etc. don't even come close to how much this works.

Pros:

worked amazingly cleared all my spots at first

Cons:

after a few months of useing it started to burn me :S

i developed acne in the summer i went to the doctors and he prescribed me duac, it was amazing, it worked straight away and i had the most unbelievably clear skin. i recently went back to the doctors to renew my prescription and after applying it keeps giving me a horrible itchy burnt face wherever it has been applied. i thought maybe this was because it was a new tube so i decided to go back to my old tube but i was still experiencing the same thing! i am very confused as to why this is happening now when i have been using the product for months and nevr experienced anything like it prior to this fourtnight! i have now also got started getting acne back :(

Pros:

works quickly and effectively, saw improvement the first day of use.

Cons:

a little drying but trust me its much better then having acne problems, an be pricey but well worth it

So i have tried EVERYTHING and when I mean everything I mean I have tried everything in the skin care isle at the store including the kits and pro active, nothing worked and so i went to my doctor and he prescribed this for me, I was hoping it would work and it did!! I am in my second week of using it and my moderate acne is almost gone, no more break outs have occurred and all are left are a few red marks. It can be drying at times by I use the aveeno ultra calming lotion in the morning and it works great. When you use this stuff use it at night so its on your skin for a long time. Don't put anything else on it just use the benzaclin! then in the morning wash it off and put on the Aveeno moisterizer and your make up (if you wear any) and you will be set for the day. The lotion doesnt cause break outs and it helps with the redness too. Good luck to everyone who tried this!!! :-)

Pros:

clears up skin quick

Cons:

a lil drying

after i noticed a friend of mine's moderate acne had suddenly cleared up within less than a week, i asked her what she'd been using. she recommended this prescription to me and i decided to get it. my mom paid for it so it was free for me :D anyway, ive been using it for a week now and i began seeing significant results after just 2 days. my blackheads which have been just about impossible to clear for 3 years now have completely disappeared and as for the rest of my pimplez many have disappeared and those left over have definitely decreased in size. all redness has disappeared as well. (ive been using it on my face) just make sure you dont get any close to your eyes because i found out that is a very sensitive area and easily irritated.

Pros:

This product works quickly, is clear and not too heavy or greasy to apply, absorbs fairly quickly

Cons:

Dries out skin, so you must use a moisturizer.

Duac cleared up all my skin in seriously, about a week. It kept it clear for years (during highschool) so I wasn't wearing make up or anything. Sometimes, I wouldn't even wash my face and I would just apply Duac and it still kept me pretty clear (give or take a few pimples, but nothing big at all). Now, however, after a couple years, I've broken out worse than before on my cheeks, where as before I used to mainly break out on my forehead. My skin started getting a lot drier and flaky as well. This may have had to do with the change in setting (I went to college), but I think what happens with Duac is since it's 1% Clindamycin (antibiotic) and 5% benzoyl peroxide, it works really great but you can become immune to the Clindamycin. Now, I'm starting to clear up again, although I have red marks that I'm waiting to go away. I'm still on Duac, and I really advise it.

Pros:

It was easy to use and not very expensive. It lasted a long time.

Cons:

Really dry, red skin. Breakouts got worse. It left scars all over my forehead.

If you already have dry skin, you probably shouldn't use it. It stopped my cystic acne when I used it but it left me with ugly red scars. My doctor said they would go away after 9 months, but its been longer then that. Also after 6 months of use when my cystic acne stopped I stopped using duac but where the scars were, more acne started coming. Haven't been able to clear up since.
