Pros:

It works fairly well to prevent and clear up acne. I noticed that with my hormone changes, it didn't stop those certain breakouts.

Cons:

It caused my skin to burn for the first few weeks. Also, it bleaches out any cloth with which it comes in contact.

Make sure to keep your skin moisturized while you are using this product. I put on lotion twice during the day, plus I put it on after washing my face at night. After it has dried, I apply the Benzaclin. I also recommend letting the Benzaclin dry completely before going to bed. I've ruined a few tshirts and blankets with this product. Also, with this price I paid, it only amounts to $10 a month, but I have to pay $30 for a three month supply. My insurance covers the bulk of the cost, so I think if you don't have the same insurance, it might cost more.

Pros:

Cleared up acne pretty fast, also controlled oil and shine.

Cons:

made skin pretty dry and kinda sensative.

It does work. It only took about a week for me to notice signifigant improvement. But this product definitely requires a good moisturizer.

Pros:

Skin cleared up really quick!
Gets rid of pimples very quick.
Got rid of most of my blackheads.

Cons:

Dries face out!!!!
Burns a little.

This stuff really works!!! The only mistake I made was I put it on my whole face, even the areas where my face was acne free. Now, my skin is really dry, and flaky. So just put it on your problem areas.

Pros:

Clears up existing pimples quickly, prevents new breakouts, abolishes oily skin.

Cons:

Dries skin, some bleaching of the skin.

I've been suffering from some degree of acne since I was 9 years old (I'm now in my early twenties) and Benzaclin is by far the most effective treatment I've used. I tried ProActiv for nearly 5 years, which helped manage acne, but really wasn't worth the price of negative effects for how much it did help. My doctor even prescribed birth control pills, which only made my acne even worse- more frequent and severe breakouts. I definitely recommed trying this for a 5-6 month trial period to see if it's right for you.

Pros:

doesn't dry my skin, easy to apply (absorbs quickly, goes on smoothly)

Cons:

without insurance, expensive. one tube lasts me more than one year, though, and i apply a fairly liberal amount. ignore the "two month" exp. date because the tube itself has a two year exp. date!

cleared my deeper, longer lasting acne in about 3 months. seems to keep new breakouts under control, but it doesn't help with pimples caused by hormones or sleep deprivation.

Pros:

easy to apply, unfragranced, can work! try it - seriously.

Cons:

bleaches stuff - ruined a couple of t shirts! and countless pillow cases, use white ones! can burn ur skin a bit.

I used to use benzamycin until the fools stopped supplying it in the UK. i had moderate back acne and mild face acne. that stuff removed it all within 2 weeks, a miracle. since it was withdrawn in 2007 iv had to use DUAC. for a while it gave the same results, well right up until now tbh. over the last few months its grown less effective. the benzamycin completely got rid of my back acne but iv been keeping mild face acne at bay for over a year with this, tho its started to creep in on my forehead, chin and cheeks over the last 4 months, which is very frustrating. trying to import some benzamycin as i type!

Pros:

This stuff works ok. It prevents most of my severe breakouts, and I;v noticed a big improvement from where my skin was before.

Cons:

It hasn't completely cleared my skin. Although I'm not innundated with acne and most of my zits aren't filled with that nasty puss, i still break out frequntly. It alo really irritates my skin and causes it turn red, which ust makes my acne worse.

I'm sure this will work for some people. It did a great job getting rid of a huge portion of my zits, but again, I still have a substantial amount of acne. Give a shot. I just might have to try somethng new in th near future.

Pros:

It dries up oozing, weeping and oily skin and the infection under the surface. I have spent a lot of money with bad results on proactive, proactive sensitive, Murad and many other over the counter treatments that have made my skin much worse.

Cons:

Creates scabs that look horrible so you will be tempted to pick at them but don't because that creates a scar or a pink sore against dark skin which then turns to another dark scab.

I look good as f**k. I have several businesses so I have been doing very well. My confidence level is almost back where it was when my skin was perfect. It seems to be taking a while but for the most part, my skin is improved by 120 percent. There was a lot of discoloration on my cocoa bronze skin which looked horrible along with the bumps. Since I deal with the public and a lot of different people during the day who find me good looking, I felt like my skin was the main topic of conversation. Now people look at the business at hand instead of trying to think of what would work on my skin. Or asking me questions like what's the price instead of what happened to your skin.
