Pros:

Reduced redness of my acne after only one usage.

Cons:

None

So after 7 years of suffering with mild acne, I decided to go to the doctors and its really knocking my confidence as I am now 17! Anyways, the doctor prescribed me "duac gel" which honestly I really didn't think was going to work! But to my amazement after just one usage, my acne has toned down! If it can do that in one night, what will it be like after a month? I'm so excited! Please don't think this is another useless product! It really does work!!

Pros:

Does actually work

Cons:

Drying at first

It does take a few weeks to work, but nothing is going to help overnight realistically. I'm someone who has had a lot of trouble in the past trying to find something that actually works, so I'm really happy with this product. At first you will get some dryness and peeling, but just moisturise A LOT and in a week it will start to go. Deffo recommend this product.

This product is great if it is used in the morning, with a different product applied at night.

Pros:

I put this on every night as spot treatment. It tingles at first, but i think that's because it's working. It can dry your skin out so use lotion, and your face maybe red for a while. But deal with it, it takes up to 3 months for full results.

Cons:

Your skin may dry and get red. But it doesn't last forever, your skin just needs to get used to the medication.

It works as long as you are patient. Like all other things out there it takes time to show full results, But you should see some difference within a week.

Pros:

It clears your skin up sooo well. It did in about a week for me.

Cons:

none

But for my acne when I first benzaclin it didn't work so i stopped using it and my doctor put me on yaz because they thought my acne was hormonal imbalances. After about a month and a half, i started seeing results.. but it wasnt clearing up fast enough for me haha.. so then I went used that benzaclin again to see if it would help a little atleast. When I used it the second time it completely cleared up my skin. Now im the most confident ive ever been about my skin in my life. You should at least try it.. what have you got to loose??

Pros:

Doesn't irritate skin, does what it says, great as a spot treatment

Cons:

SFC Lotion which accompanies the Rx tends get used up first. I believe this is what prevents the irritation

I actually went to my Dermatologist and requested a spot treatment. I am 24 years of age and have been acne proned all my life, initially, I was only prescribed Retin-A-Micro (which I love) but I also wanted something to treat isolated breakouts....hence the Duac topical gel. The two products work fine together and only on occassions do I notice MINOR irritation. I love the gel, I have had to for a few months but I don't use it everyday, mostly for breakouts around my jawline and in my T-Zone. It takes care of the problem in just a day or two. I love the SFC lotion which accompanies it...it feels great on my skin and provides a balance, non greasy moisterized feeling even with have to apply the 5% benzoyl peroxide gel...which is murder on anyone's skin.

Pros:

I starts to work very quickly. Within 2 to 3 days, I could see a difference with using it twice daily, but after 6-7 days it was even better. Smooth skin and no pimples.

Cons:

Doesn't help lighten dark marks, but it does reduce your pores and rapaidly heals pimples and prevents them so this is NOT REALLY a con.

I would definately recommend this to acne pron individuals who have tried other products or not. This is a gentle acne treatment with immediate results. AWESOME STUFF!!!!!!
