Pros:

clears skin and makes it feel smooth at first

Cons:

after a while it stops working. Leave your skin dry and causes a slight burning sensation.

Nick, Michigan and I probably have the same dermatologist. I have the same Duac and defferin regimen. It doesnt seem to be a great combo for me. I'm think my skin is starting to get immune the ingredients. I would recommend Duac to you guys because over all it can be great at first. However I dont think it will be apart of anyone's regimen in the long run. I call it a temporary fix

Pros:

Has benzoyl peroxide in it, which everyone knows is good for acne. Helps dry up oily skin.

Cons:

Burns a little, makes face red and BLEACHES everything it touches.

I don't think Duac is any different from an over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide treatment. I've been using it along with Tazorac (which is awesome) and Doryx and my skin is definitely improving, but I just don't think Duac is worth the cost.

Pros:

I did notice that it started to clear up my acne in the first few months, but after that it didn't help much.

Cons:

Stopped working after a few months, dryness, and it has a perticular scent.

It worked for a while, but overall didn't really help.

Pros:

Works very well. Results can be seen almost immediately.

Cons:

Sometimes leaves skin dry.

i've used this medicine for almost 7 years. i've tried proactiv and this is the only medicine that has worked for my skin type. i have very oily skin and this medicine takes care of that and leaves my skin smooth. results are almost immediately noticeable.

Pros:

works AMAZINGLY in the beginning and then slowly stops working. Don't get me wrong, my skin would probably be much worse if i weren't on it...but its still not at all what I'd like it to be.

Cons:

redness and really dry skin. skin WILL become immune to it after awhile.

This product is good if you have mild acne. For those of you (like me) with moderate acne, this just doesn't cut it. I still have to wear make-up because my skin still is not good...Im still looking for something that will work better, I'm just hesitant to go on accutane.

Pros:

It does reduce the acne. I've tried other products like Clearasil Kit and ProActiv, but it seemed to make it worse. So I've decdtided to go back to Duac.

Cons:

Dries up a little

Seems to be the most consistent product for me.

Pros:

It goes on very smoothly and its easy to dispense and it doesn't sting or burn at all.

Cons:

Its kind of annoying to have to take it out of the fridge, but its deffinately worth it.

I have been using it for about 3 or 4 days and I have combination skin, I only get pimples on my nose chin and some random areas around my head. Every time I put it on my skin keeps getting smoother and smoother and my blackheads are dissapearing too. So far the big pimples have not dissapeared much but again I've only been using it for a few days. I'm confident that this will work wonders!
