Pros:

i can tell it's working, clears new pimples in a day and is getting rid of all exsisting acne and even scars that i've had for almost a year

Cons:

dry flaky itchy tight red skin

in the beg. all the cons were really bad and i almost stopped it, but i kept going with it and ziana and minocycline and the dry, flaky, itchy, tight red skin is all going down to being almost not even there, and it's clearing up my skin and makes it feel really smooth after i apply it. i just hope it keeps working the way it is and that i don't get immune to it. idk what i'd do :[

Pros:

This product kept me mostly clear and dried up my oily skin.

Cons:

Causes significant digestive problems, and, in severe cases, can cause colitis.

I used this product for 4 years and while it seemed to really help my acne, I experienced a lot of digestive problems, which I didn't link to Benzaclin until just recently. After spending ridiculous amounts of money trying to cure my digestive problems, I finally started doing my own research and found that Benzaclin causes diarrhea and even colitis. I stopped using the product immediately. Now, I use Dan's BP gel, which seems to work just as well and without the horrific side effects. If you are using this product, please monitor your digestive health very closely and discontinue use if you notice problems.

Pros:

it works

Cons:

can dry skin

finally something that works. all I do is use the cleanser that it comes with at night and then apply the duac. the next morning I don't wash my face but I rinse it and make sure I get off all the excess duac. after using clindamycin for a while with good results, I got a couple more spots and then decided to try different things. I quit clindamycin about a year ago and since then haven't had as good of skin, until I found duac.

Pros:

I got a free sample from the dermatologist after reading positive reviews and requesting it.

Cons:

It did nothing for my needle size pimples except make them BIGGER!

I only applied this on my face twice. Once at night and then again the next morning. Thank goodness I didn't put this on my entire face and only put it on a small part. Anyway, I was hoping it would reduce the size of my tiny whiteheads that I have had for a month but it made them worse. They got red and angry. I even got a new BIG pimple right next to them. My skin didn't respond well to this drug at all and I will never put it on my face again. I am sticking to Proactiv and Zinc.

Pros:

Cons:

Pros:

It cleared up any Black heads or white heads on the nose IMMEDIATELY! i still have a VERY clear nose. It also reduces the size of cysts.

Cons:

Dry peeling skin. a cyst may appear out of nowhere.

It clears up any small random pimples but takes longer for yhe bigger ones to go away helps the best with light to moderate acne. But it really does dry up your skin which isnt good for me since i have naturally DRY ASS skin"( But try it it just may work for you..

Pros:

Dermatologist recommended. Easy to get ahold of. Cleared up my acne pretty nicely the first time i started using it.

Cons:

stopped working after a while. dried out my face

this product worked the first time i used it for a couple months. next time my skin started breaking out, i tried to use it, and saw no results. not sure if i got used to it or what. plus it is expensive. but i think for some people it can really work. give it a try

Pros:

Derm Recommended

Cons:

We went to our local CVS to fill a 45gm tube of Duac and a 45gm tube of Differin for my 12 year old daughter. New RX from our Dermatologists

The Retail price of Duac was $204! Retail for Differin was $200! I could not even believe it and I used to be in the pharma biz so to be shocked by an Rx price it really has to be expensive. Everybody is listing what their costs are, I can only assume that everyone has a Rx co-pay insurance plan. We have an HSA plan as I am self-employed so I really watch our healthcare costs. Even with our BCBS Anthem Discount for Rx, our out of pocket expense was going to be $150 for each product. Not reasonable at all! I called our Derm and she switched us to generic
