Pros:

Dries up existing pimples fast
Cooling sensation

Cons:

Not ideal for daily wash
Doesn't prevent new pimples from forming

This product is good as a mask or for spot treatment only. When I have an existing pimple, this product dries it up fast. I will usually leave it on for an hour or more. As a daily wash, I find it too thick and drying. I prefer something mild that lathers well with no oils, soap or alcohol (i.e.: Neutrogena Foaming Face Wash)

Pros:

-Better used as a mask
-Good spot treatment for pimples under the skin
-Dries out pimples over night

Cons:

-Not an everyday face wash

I think this is a good product to use 2-3 times per week as a mask only. i do not recommend it as an everyday wash. Personally, it dried out my skin when using it everyday. I had a few large pimples around the jawlines and after applying a pea sized amount before bed, in the morning the size had gone down almost 50% This product also works well as a blackhead eraser on nose and chin areas.

Pros:

Feels Good
Cheap
Smells Really Good
Clears Up Face A Little

Cons:

Doesn't Cure All Acne
Can Make Your Face Red

I bought this as a mask and it's okay. It wakes me up and definatly gets rid of the small zits! Although, I wouldn't recommend this to get rid of acne, it sure helps along with something else(:

Pros:

- Cleaned my face very well
- Cleared pores
- Worked as a great mask

Cons:

- Did not clear my acne
- Really strong if you have sensitive skin

The cleanser was pretty strong. I have moderate acne and very sensitive skin. I only used the mask maybe twice a week because that was strong too. It didn't clear my breakouts so I stopped using it after 3-4 weeks.

Pros:

-Cooling feel
-Cleans deep
-Reduces pore size
-Doesn't make me breakout
-Reduces pimple size overall

Cons:

-Leaves skin red for about an hour
-Can be drying
-Weird smell

I no longer use this product because I'm on Epiduo and don't want to dry my face out anymore than it is! I used this once as a cleanser and it seemed to work fine, left me feeling very clean. I used it as a mask about once a week. I'd slather on a thick layer on my entire face. The tingly, cool effect feels great on my skin...feels like its sinking deep into the pores and lifting the junk. However, when I wash off the mask I am left with skin that look sunburned for up to an hour. This does reduce my pimples all around and leaves it looking and feeling smoother. A bit irritating, use only once a week.

Pros:

It FEELS like it works....

Cons:

Over time it looses it's effectiveness, and doesn't address cystic or deep tissue forming acne in any way. Nor does it address the pain of acne.

If you have really mild to moderate acne it is ok, but it doesn't work at all on deep acne.

Ok, I Guess
This product was ok. It didn't really do much for me. I used it as a cleanser and mask. As a cleanser, it wasn't anything special. I didn't break out more but it didn't clear me up. Using it as a mask was too drying and I had to stop. I would recommend it as a cleanser for light acne, but for me, it didn't clear anything up. If you purchase this product, don't use it as a mask, as it is very drying.

Not a bad clay mask for acne skin, but may be a little harsh

Pros:

High amounts of clay = skin refining
Ingredient SA can help clear the skin a bit

Cons:

Can irritate if left on for too long
Strong medicinal/menthol smell

I have mixed feelings about this mask, but I do use it sometimes, so I will do this review to try and help you decide if you want to try it. I find that clay masks such as with a good amount of kaolin and/or bentonite, work well for my skin. (40+ year old woman with large pores, fine lines, and still very prone to breakouts) That said, I have a really hard time finding one that doesn't contain too many other ingredients to cause a problem. I have tried a lot of clay-based masks and this is one of the better ones but is very far from perfect. Mainly it is a little harsh. It has a strong "tingly" feeling when I have it on, which I know is some kind of selling point (people think something is "happening") but to me is always a sign of irritation. It has a very harsh chemical/menthol smell. It dries quickly and can irritate my skin if I leave it on for more than a few minutes. Remember, when your skin is acne-prone, irritating the skin is NOT helpful. So, I do use it but I use it only as a mask and I only leave it on for a few minutes - don't let it completely dry. I like the results of the clay in terms of refining pores / smoothing my fine lines etc. And I like that this one does not break me out exactly (many other masks out there are just flat-out break-out guarantees) I just wish it were a little less mentholy and irritating. If I leave it on too long or use it too often, the irritation can break e out. But if you have had good luck with clay masks this is one of the better ones and it might be worth trying.
