Neutrogena : Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask

If you intend on using this everyday, I would recommend using a moisturizer, especially during fall and winter. Overall, I have had no problems with this product. It effectively draws out excess oil from your face.

I love this product!! I will never switch!!! It is great!! One wash morning and night and then at night mask!! My acne improved so quick!! I am young and for all those teen girls(or boys) this works!! It doesn't cost a ton and yupp just try it!!

The cleanser was pretty strong. I have moderate acne and very sensitive skin. I only used the mask maybe twice a week because that was strong too. It didn't clear my breakouts so I stopped using it after 3-4 weeks.

I no longer use this product because I'm on Epiduo and don't want to dry my face out anymore than it is! I used this once as a cleanser and it seemed to work fine,left me feeling very clean. I used it as a mask about once a week. I'd slather on a thick layer on my entire face. The tingly,cool effect feels great on my skin...feels like its sinking deep into the pores and lifting the junk. However,when I wash off the mask I am left with skin that look sunburned for up to an hour. This does reduce my pimples all around and leaves it looking and feeling smoother. A bit irritating,use only once a week.

I like this particular formulation because of the slightly lower benzoyl peroxide concentration (3.5%) - just as effective but a little less drying and irritating. Also, I like alternating between using as a mask or as a face wash depending on how oily my skin is.

I would recommend this product for everyone me and my mother use it so it's great for all ages. It leaves me skin red, but not hers, it just depends on the person. It's definitely worth a try.

Benzoyl Peroxide products are known for drying out skin, but I'm still not a fan of the redness that a lot of people seem to be experiencing directly after the use of this product. I know it's a sideffect, but it's still upsetting. A little bit of lotion (I use Curel) helps to clean up the redness and the dryness though. Another thing that I am weary about is that I cannot leave this prodcut on for more than 60 seconds. The pain is overwhelming adn it stings. I consider this an issue, but at the same time I still feel like this product is making a differance in my skin. Would I recommend it? Sure. Just be careful and make sure you don't use it immediantly before going out as your face could turn red like other people have mentioned! Also make sure you have a lotion that you can use on your face for afterwards. I would NOT recommend using this product on a daily basis. works if u follow wit ha moisutizer othereise ur face feels stiff and dry i only use it as a mask once a week and i works very well i love this product
