Neutrogena : Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask

I have used it for just over a week and have seen a huge improvement from when i got it to now. I use the mask at night, and in the morning i usually just use the cleanser.

I basically wanted something to work fast. so far im seeing results

I was tired of washing, waiting, applying BP for 5 minutes, waiting, applying lotion, waiting. So, I got this to simplify my routine but still incoporate BP. I use this morning and night and leave it on for 1-5 minutes depending on how much time I have. This does not burn my skin. But, if you are sensitive to BP be careful. In the morning, I rinse my face with water. Apply this to my face and leave on for a minute or two. Then, jump in the shower to wash it off. I follow with Olay's Sensitive Skin moisturizer and skip adding more BP to my face. And that's it! At night I do the same thing but rather than follow with moisturizer I follow with Dan's BP gel. My face is 99% clear after suffering from some bad acne as of late. I do find if I get a zit, I just leave the mask on for a few more minutes than I usually do and it clears up super fast. If I need to exfoliate I use a soft face brush. Best thing that's worked in the past year!

This did not improve my acne at all, and I used it as both a cleanser and a mask. I was disappointed because I had a lot of luck the first time I tried the regimen, so I thought this would work as well. After a few weeks, I discontinued use. My skin felt dry and tight. I know a few people who have had good results from it, though.

I'm 25 and for whatever reason I've been breaking out like crazy so I've been trying EVERYTHING. Proactiv (too harsh), Exposed (horrible, greasy, made me break out worse). Anyways, I've only been using this for a few days, but already my skin is doing a 180! I use it morning and night as a cleanser along with the Neutrogena Rapid Clear treatment pads with salicylic acid. Benzoyl Peroxide is the absolute best acne treatment and the only thing that ever works for me but it can be drying. Fortunately, DDF makes a BP gel that will run you $28 from Sephora but it's fantastic and SO worth it!! It's 2 oz. and you only need a small amount so it lasts a while. AND it does not dry my skin out or make it feel greasy, just smooth and clean! If you need an exfoliant, try Biore's Pore Unclogging scrub. I'm telling you, these four products used together are the absolute best and I have tried everything!

Benzoyl Peroxide products are known for drying out skin, but I'm still not a fan of the redness that a lot of people seem to be experiencing directly after the use of this product. I know it's a sideffect, but it's still upsetting. A little bit of lotion (I use Curel) helps to clean up the redness and the dryness though. Another thing that I am weary about is that I cannot leave this prodcut on for more than 60 seconds. The pain is overwhelming adn it stings. I consider this an issue, but at the same time I still feel like this product is making a differance in my skin. Would I recommend it? Sure. Just be careful and make sure you don't use it immediantly before going out as your face could turn red like other people have mentioned! Also make sure you have a lotion that you can use on your face for afterwards. I would NOT recommend using this product on a daily basis. Whenever my mom bought it and gave it to me when she got home.. I was like "Oh great. ANOTHER thing to put on my face that supposingly works." But, I used the mask.. And I knew it was working, I could feel it. Then when I rinsed it off and looked up in the mirror, I immediatly saw results. I knew that this was for me. It says not to exceed to 2-3 times a week, but for the past 3 days I've used it every night. I get in the shower every morning and I use the Wave to get all the oils and things off my face from the night.. And then after the day is done, I'll get my Wave and get off any makeup I was wearing or just to get off the oils and dirt from the day. Then at about 11pm, I'll get the Pore Cleanser and rub it on my face and let it sit for 5min, while I lay down and relax and then rinse it off and Vola! :D

Love this face wash. I use it with Retin-A, and it's clearing me up really well.
