best results ive ever gotten out of a cleanser

Pros:

gentle ingredients
helps with skin tone
affordable

Cons:

not strong enough for severe acne
hard to use pump after a while
has fragrance in it

I have moderate to severe acne so there arent many products ive come across that are gentle enough to use on my sensitive skin but strong enough to clear my skin. right now i am on an antibiotic that helps greatly but doesnt do the job completely without a topical treatment. when i first sought professional help for my acne bout 2 years ago i started using a product sample of aqua glycolic cleanser along with epiduo cream which worked wonderfully on my skin by clearing it completely to the point where it had become poreless and glowing but i eventually could not afford the price of the epiduo because of an issue with insurance and was unable to find the aqua glycolic cleanser. i was then left with the option of going back to an over the counter cleanser. ive tried most drug store cleansers which all claim to help acne but ironically have ingredients in them that are bad for acne prone skin. however when i came across Aveeno foaming clear complexion cleanser it specifically stated it wouldn't clog pores, was soap free, oil free, and hypoallergenic. They were all things that are recommended for you to look for on any product you buy for acne prone skin. I gave it a try and it has become my favorite cleanser to this day. In fact even the facial scrub is good too. although i wouldn't recommend using that particular one every day. 0.5 % salicylic acid isn't enough to clear skin completely but makes the product gentle enough to use regularly. please try if you are having trouble finding a product that addresses all your needs in a cleanser for your skin because this is totally worth the try.

Pros:

Made my skin visibly smoother
Minimized pore size
Made my face glow

Cons:

A little drying (nothing moisturizer can't fix)
Still have areas of acne
I think you have to continue this product more than a week to see results, acne wise.

I also used this with St. Ives green tea scrub about three times a week, the combination of this two products were the only thing that has actually minimized the size of my pores greatly.

Pros:

Little product is needed in order to work up a good lather
Leaves skin feeling smooth
Removes make-up easily

Cons:

Does not help much with acne
Can be drying

I have been using this product for years, and I really do like it. I prefer using it during the summer months because it is a bit drying, I make sure to always follow up with a moisturizer! It leaves your skin feeling nice and clean, but does little to help acne. If used in conjunction with other acne products (such as benzoyl peroxide) you would have better results.

Pros:

Gentle
Leaves skin feeling soft
Removes left over make up
Helps somewhat w/ acne
AND CONTAINS NO SULFATE ADDITIVES!! (which I ADMIRE)

Cons:

None

Okay first off people, this facial cleanser is based off soy beans, and many people are allergic to soy products.. Make sure you know how your allergies before trying something that could cause an allergic reaction. I use this cleanser in the morning and at night, I take off my make up with the Clear Complexion Pads and then this cleanser to rinse off the residue, followed by the Clear Complexion Daily Lotion. I am still in my teens (17). So naturally, I am prone to breaking out only because of my hormones. I reccomend this product if you DON'T HAVE AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO SOY PRODUCTS.

Pros:

Light Foam

Fresh Scent

No More Redness

Prevents Blemishes

Cons:

Flaking of the nose cause by dehydration

Not prominent of removing blemishes

Not the best acne fighting cleanser on the market, but it is good in preventing breakouts and dries out existing blemishes. Works great on skin with LIGHT acne. Not to be treated with moderate or severe. If you do, do not expect great results.

Pros:

Leaves skin soft
Smells nice
Is gentle
Contains Salicylic Acid so fights pimples

Cons:

No real advantage for acne, other than being gentle

I love this, I will continue to use it just because it doesn't make my skin any worse and it is gentle and easy ( zero scrubbing). I am trying to be gentle with my face so this is basically it. I combine it with 2.5% benzyl peroxide for tough spots and neutrogena oil free moisturiser for combination skin as a moisturizer. I also treat with vitamin e oil and manuka honey on occasion when I feel like getting sticky.

Pros:

-Gentle
-Easy to use & wash off
-Great smell
-Decreased acne, zits, bumps, etc.
-Unclogs pores
-Really foamy/lathery
-Coolbottle! (the color mathes my body wash lol)
-Make skin soft and silky smooth

Cons:

-First use made my skin tight, red, and irritated

I love this product! It's great, but I do have to say that your first use can be a bit tricky and doubtful. Don't give up on it though. I have been using this for about 2 weeks now and my skin is starting to clear up and I have no more awkward discolorations.

Pros:

Gentle
Calming
Effectively Removes Oil
Removes Make-up
Shrunk Pores
Skin is noticeably brighter and healthier
Removes Acne scars

Cons:

Doesn't help reduce pimples or redness

Well, it's a *clear complexion* cleanser, not necessarily an *acne* cleanser. I'm disappointed that it doesn't do anything for the pimples themselves, but it's definitely helped my skin. My skin is still red, yes, but my pores have shrunk and acne scars I've had for years are gone. I love this cleanser, it's slowly but surely getting rid of my acne, and I will definitely buy again. It IS pricey and I HAVE only been using it for a week, but I really like what I've seen so far. It's done muuuuch more for my skin than years of big name acne products. Only a 4/5, though, because it doesn't do anything for the pimples themselves.

-Clean and Refreshing Smell
-Absorbs into skin well
-Helped Reduce redness

Cons:

-Pricey (but worth it!)

It has helped the discolouration in my skin, making it look healthier and clearer. Its expensive here, but its DEFINITELY WORTH saving up for! People keep on complimenting me on my clear skin. :)
