Pros:

I was using Acne Free and became allergic and thought I'd never again find a product that worked.I had very bad acne on my face and tried many different products which didn't work at all or made things worse. This works if U follow all instructions!

Cons:

none!

It actually works, it's cheaper than most products and it's not tested on animals!

Pros:

Makes your face feel smooth
Great for feet or rough elbows, too
Not too expensive
Lasts a long time

Cons:

Smells good at first, but then developed a funny odor over time
Grit can hurt existing pimples
Burns if you leave it on too long

I've used this product for a full year now. I'm stopping tomorrow. Here's why: it's not worth it. At the beginning, I thought I noticed an improvement in my face, but I think it was just a coincidence. Plain and simple -- one year later, and my face is still...well, basically the same way it was last year at this time. I held out for a full year because I know it sometimes takes time for a treatment to kick in. But, not this time! I'm ditching it for something new. I only bought this product because of all the great reviews I read on the Carley's website. I loved the fact that it was all-natural. But now, I've noticed several other acne.org reviewers who say that the reviews on the Carley's site (and perhaps elsewhere) are fake. I shouldn't be surprised; I'm sure this happens in any industry. But for an acne product? Come on. If many of their positive reviews ARE fake, I feel duped. If you're only ordering one product from them, their shipping is expensive -- $8 flat rate. It's good if you're ordering lots of stuff, but...your bill will add up quickly on that site! It's great that they send you lots of free little samples with each order, but still. Sigh. Overall, not too pleased with this product.

Pros:

none it's cheap but 20 bucks for something that's going to destory your skin isn't worth it. I honestly can't think of anything positive about this

Cons:

-makes your skin break out worse
-is filled with butters and other pore clogging materials
-doesn't clear up acne
-if you read all the reviews for this product they all say the same thing because the people selling Carley's are writting fake reviews.
-not gentle

Don't bother with this product. If you search about it on the forums you'll realize that this product is fake and does not work. THEY ARE WRITING FAKE REVIEWS SO YOU BUY THIS. BUYERS BEWARE

Pros:

None.

Cons:

I had mild acne before trying this product and purchased it on the basis of the many positive reviews on this site. Within a few weeks I had deep cystic acne on my jawline that I had never experienced before.

Please be very wary of the reviews for Carly's on this site. Although the product may work for some people, the claims of its effectiveness in reviews on acne.org are grossly exaggerated and likely false (as has been pointed out by others). The manufacturers are very defensive about their tactics and claim that the product is not a "scam" because it works for some people. However, any company that willfully deceives its clients into believing their product is much more effective than it is, is scamming them. I bought this product based solely on the reviews seen here and feel like I was duped. I know they have a money-back guarantee, but seriously I would have paid triple the price to not have experienced the break-out I had while using it. This company preys on the low self-esteem and sheer hopefulness that acne sufferers have for finding a miracle cure. Rest assured, this isn't it and this company is very dishonest in its marketing tactics.

Pros:

cheap
huge bottle

Cons:

gave me more acne
feels grease

I wish I had read more reviews before purchasing this product. I had about five small pimples before I started using it and ended up with more than 10. I don't know if product is a scam or not because not everything works for everyone, but I know it doesn't work for me. READ ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE CONSIDERING BUYING.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Did not work at all. Made my acne worse then it's ever been. I contacted Carleys through email and they told me to keep using it. I used it for 3 horrible months and it never worked. I really do think that they do some of their own reviews. I used all their products too.

Didn't work for me at all. I had high hopes for this product but it only made my acne worse.

Pros:

Money Back Guarantee

Cons:

Developed worse, more painful acne than I had when I started.

Products that work should speak for themselves. Beware of fake reviews.

Pros:

You get a lot.

Cons:

Made acne so much worse.

I used this product for six months before giving up on it. It made my skin look SO bad, and I am still trying to recover. When I first started Carley's, I had some whiteheads and blackheads. After Carley's, I developed some cystic acne and hundreds of closed comedones all over my face. My derm told me that the ingredients in this product usually cause damage to the skin and can change what kind of acne one has.

December 12, 2010

Pros:

absolutely none

Cons:

made my acne worse
gave me cystic acne

I can't believe I fell for the all the good reviews and got this! This took my mild-to-moderate hormonal acne from bad to much much worse! Within a week of using, I started getting small hard red pimples on my cheeks and chin. A month later, hard painful cystic acne. I still have a picture from my birthday party where I'm trying to hide my face behind my hair, that's how bad it was! After about four months, I looked in the mirror and just threw the bottle away (I should've saved it to get a refund). In short, this stuff is HORRIBLE! What saved me was Dan Kern's benzoyl peroxide lotion. With that, within two months my skin cleared up - but I still have red marks from the cysts from Carleys treatment. Beware!!
