Pros:

It really works!

Cons:

May cause a "flare" when first using. Be persistent, give it time, don't use other products. After about 1 month or so it will clear up your acne.

I've had acne for over 45 years. Yep. It isn't completely gone -- I'll get the occasional bump here and there. However, Carley's Clear and Smooth and the other Carley's products (moisturizer and anti-aging cream for acne-prone skin) have made a real difference for me. Also, I switched to mineral makeup. I'll keep using Carley's!

Pros:

Probably the no risk guarantee... quick email responses, but really nothing more!

Cons:

Worst acne I 've had in 2 decades!!!!!!!!!! Used for 6 weeks,and followed directions to the letter. Continually got worse daily. I didn't want to stop, hoping every day I would "cross the line" and start to see improvement. But it never happened!

After going into a state of depression, I saw a dermatologist, and started to clear up in time, only with the continuation of his treatment. I still have residual effects from Clear & Smooth that will take a while to fade. If you're a true risk taker, then go for it! But also be prepared for the worst!! This has made me gun-shy of ever ordering acne products online again. I have a hard time believing all the testimonials listed. BEWARE!!

This is a great product. I've been using it consistently every morning since the spring of 2001. I won't be without it. It may not work for everyone but it definately keeps my adult acne on my chin at bay. I keep mine in the shower to prevent any bleaching of linens. I pretty much place it on my chin for a minute while in the shower. Before rinsing off, I use a very small amount & very gently massage the rest of my face avoiding the eyes. It's non irritating and I love the way my skin feels afterward. The money back guarantee is a no brainer.

Pros:

It works better than most acne products that I've tried. You get a large bottle that lasts for some time. They share samples with every order. Email is answered quickly. Orders arrive quickly. No animal testing and no animal ingredients.

Cons:

Best to use in the shower only (it's a little runny and benzoyl peroxide bleaches). It took 2 months before I really felt that it was working well.

I'm 43 and for 20 years, I've tried many products and have been to a few dermatologists for various treatments (oral and topical). This is one of the better products that I've used. What surprised me is that is does not over dry my skin yet it has benzoyl peroxide in it. I moisturize and exfoliate. I highly recommend moisturizing. Carly's makes fabulous moisturizers and soap, too. Follow their directions and use it faithfully, and hopefully you'll have the same positive results.

this product is amazing there is nothing quite like it, i love it and its the only product that works on my skin, i have spent lots of money on useless products till i found this, i would highly recomend this to anyone :)

Pros:

Works particularly well on "bacne" - or body acne. Clears up skin effectively and works pretty consistently. Doesn't dry skin out like some products. Leaves skin normal, not flaky or oily.

Cons:

It takes a couple of weeks to really work. Needs to be used with natural soap. Have to avoid other acne-fighting products. It can only be purchased online.

I've been really happy with this product. I love that it is natural, it leaves my skin feeling great, and it's affordable. I've tried a lot of other products, and this stuff works better than anything else I've tried. It really controls oil without drying out my skin. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with moderate acne, and anyone with body acne.

Pros:

I've had acne since I was 10 years old and I'm now 55. This is the best product I've ever used. It is not tested on animals and uses no animal product. My skin is about 99% acne free.

Cons:

Can't think of any.

When starting with the product, your acne will flare. Just keep using it. It took 4-6 weeks before my skin improved. I use the other products from Carley's. I have oily and very sensitive skin. The Kukui nut body moisturizer is amazing. I had a severe inflammatory reaction from another product and used the moisturizer at night. By morning the inflammation was gone. Another anti-acne tip: switch to mineral makeup. I use Bare Minerals. Carley's and Bare Minerals changed my skin forever.

Pros:

The acne scrub works! Follow the instructions on the bottle, if you do what it says you will get results.

Cons:

I didn't care for the anti-aging cream for acne prone skin.It is expensive, and you only get a tiny jar. I much prefer the day time cream. It goes on smooth, and is perfect to wear under your makeup.

This stuff is great!!!! The acne treatment works, just follow the instructions. The natural soap is wonderful, my entire family is hooked. The day cream and night cream are both great, they are light,leave no greese behind and won't casue your skin to break out.

Pros:

Works fast, doesn't irritate my skin, skin feels clean after use - no film like with some products.

Cons:

It will bleach your washclothes so use your old ones.

I have had painful and embarassing acne on my face, chest, & back since I turned 13. This stuff works. I am 29 now and have bought every product on the market and tried every home remedy I have heard about. Nothing worked and everything made my skin even more sensitive than it usually is. This was a last distch effort. I am so glad I tried one more thing. For the first time in my life I wake up and my skin doesn't hurt. It is amazing, my skin is clear and beaautiful.

Pros:

Easy to use

Cons:

I could only give this product 4 weeks. My skin broke out in a rash all over my forehead and after discontinuing use, which was about a week ago I still have this rash. Also,my acne became severe, all over my cheeks.

I realize this product has worked really well for lots of people, I just wasn't one of the lucky ones. It might work for you though.
