Pros:

It works!

Cons:

No major cons. The soap doesn't smell that great, but you get used to it.

I've been using the scrub and the soap for over a year. I do better with benzoyl peroxide-based products than anything else (salicylic acid does nothing for me), and I don't find BP too drying. I started with the regular strength scrub, but the results started to diminish, I switched to the Kick A** formula and have continued to have good results with it. My acne is mostly hormonal, and it's never completely gone, but the Clear & Smooth products keep it under control better than anything I've ever used. I especially love the soap, which leaves no residue at all and makes my skin feel wonderful. Highly recommended if you can tolerate benzoyl peroxide.

Pros:

The soap made my skin feel squeaky clean and I like that the ingredients are all natural.

Cons:

Within days of starting this product I had terrible cystic acne on my chin, which I never had before.

This seems to work for a lot of other people and I'm really disappointed that it did not work for me. I think the oils and shea butter clogged my pores something fierce. Although the website and the direction page say to keep using the products for a minimum of a month, I simply couldn't sit idly by and watch my chin get worse and worse, not with wedding season in full swing anyway. I switched back to Dan's regimen and am almost 100% clear.

Pros:

I have tried many brands of face wash, including Neutrogena, Clean & Clear, Biore, Aveeno, etc. But I always come back to Carley's Clear and Smooth. It's pretty much the only face wash that doesn't over dry my skin.

Cons:

None. Well, actually a lot of my towels got bleached accidentally, probably from the residue of the face wash on my face... but I think that's my fault since I don't use the natural bar soap after I use the treatment...

About 4 years ago my skin still experienced bad acne outbreak once in a while, so I decided to try the Kick A** formula. However, that didn't agree with me at all and it made my acne so much worse than it was before. I wrote to Clear and Smooth about what happened and they were willing to ship me my regular skin treatment free of charge (I guess it's because I was a regular customer by that time). The customer service was superb! I would recommend it to anyone with acne problem. It's too bad that none of my friends has acne bad enough to require this product. Otherwise I would love to them try Clear & Smooth as well. By the way, I have been using this since I was 14 and I'm almost 22 now. I tried switching to the more common brands but, again, I always ended up coming back to this. My skin has gotten better ever since I got out of my teenage phase but I still use this everyday.

Pros:

I'm 51 years old and this is the only product that has completely rid my face (and body) of acne. Even those tiny bumps under my skin are gone! Just soft and smooth. I love it and will NEVER go without it.

Cons:

None.

I would hate to live without this product -- or the soap that comes with it. One BIG plus about the soap... no more soap scum on my shower door and walls... have not had to scrub the shower in 4 years... just clean and shiny.

Pros:

It works! Natural ingredients, free sample products with order,fast shipping

Cons:

Use it up before the year is over or it starts to smell a little bit "off" due to natural preservatives... yes, the bottle lasts me a whole year!

I've had acne for 30 years and this product is the best. Now I only get blemishes when hormone levels fluctuate, and they disappear in just a day or two using Carley's. My teenage son loves it too!

Pros:

Yes, it works folks and no anitbiotics in your body! It leaves the skin clear and smooth when used on a daily basis. We have used it for our family for more than eight years and would not be without it!

Cons:

NONE

My son had serious acne that prescription medications could not handle. Your products have been the perfect solution for him as he also has dry flaky patches. Now our entire family uses ALL of the products and love them, we will never be without the soap and I love all of your lotions and the exfoliant.

Pros:

Nice natural feeling lather. Makes skin feel wonderful. Lotion is very nice. Top notch soap. Shipment comes with cool free samples of products, which are a great travel sized assortment for taking on vacation.

Cons:

A little pricey. Must be delivered. Requires the use of wash cloths; 1 per day. I find it hard to use regular soap when away from home. Ended up tossing many of the products in my linen closet after trying the soap and lotions.

I have had persistent acne all of my life. Saw fast results. Acne heals faster with these products. After several months, the Acne returned, I ordered the stronger scrub & found out that I was not following the directions properly. Acne is now healing.

Pros:

natural, no flaking, WORKS! i prefer the kick @ass teen formula though i am way past being a teen.

Cons:

you do need to rinse carefully and i;d suggest drying your face with an old towel, because the bp will mess with fabric dyes.

Pros:

It works! I have occasional adult facial acne and body acne - I'm too old to be faffed with it, I really am and can't be bothered with the namby pamby stuff on sale over the counter. I want something that works and I want it to work fast. This does.

Cons:

None really. It takes the colour out of your clothes if you're not careful but it's a small price to pay. I don't care.

I'm sick and tired of having spots at my age - absolutely at the depths of fed up with it. This keeps my face, back, chest and arms spot free if I keep at it. When I stop using it, it comes back up again. I've recommended it to quite a few people and it's worked for all of them.
