Carley's : Clear and Smooth Skin Treatment

So I ordered this on 4/23 and got it today. I ordered the industrial teen version. It comes with a bar of their natural soap and two small samples of night and day moisturizer for acne prone skin. So far so good, It feels nice and it doesn't smell unpleasant. The soap really cleans your skin and the treatment feels nice. The moisturizer goes on smoothly and makes your skin feel nice and light. It also doesn't look greasy or oily :) I am 15 and have moderately severe acne. I bought this because of all the glowing reviews. I shall be posting weekly how my skin is improving. I highly recommend Clear & Smooth. I indicated on the survey to the right that I have very light acne. This is due to the Clear & Smooth product. Before using it, I would describe my acne as being moderately severe.

YOU MUST BE PATIENT!!!!! it took me about 6 months to finally get my acne under control. You have to follow directions EXACTLY. Use a fresh clean face cloth EVERY time. some people think of the process as a pain the the butt, but its really really easy and it doesnt bother me because I can finally look in the mirror and smile. If you slow down and take care of your face, your face will thank you for it. I had acne for 12 years, 12 YEARS! I wish I found this stuff 12 years ago but I was too busy listening to what my friends said and spending thousands of dollars on dermatologists that were just taking my money and ruining my skin!!!!!!!! The moisterizers are all awesome and they even send you free samples with your purchase. Everything is friggin AMAZING. I have been using their products for over a year now and it is the ONLY stuff i will ever put on my face again.

Ive been using this product for about 7 years when I first found it on ebay. I have never used another acne product. This product not only clears your skin, but Im pretty sure it's what's keeping me looking younger than my age.

Why am I writing this review? First, I see quite a number of poor reviews about this product. Listen, I had severe acne since I was 20. After THREE courses of Accutane over a decade long period, my acne ALWAYS came back. What saved me and why do I now have PERFECT skin? Well, it started with this product (yes, it goes worse before it got better) and more importantly, I changed my diet. Here's a newsflash for you. If you have horrible acne, your body is telling you something. Your skin is flushing out your system and if it's ugly outside, your insides are worse. Get clean. STOP the cokes, or any soda, an drink pure water. STOP dairy of ALL kinds. Eat more vegetables and some fruits. NO WHEAT. I could go on and on. Bottom line is this: I had really severe, terrible acne, so bad I refused to go out. Now, my skin is baby soft thanks mainly to diet. I also use Carley's face scrub and cream, along with their foot care product. All the women in my life (yeah, when you don't have terrible acne, you might just be decent looking!) are jealous of not only my skin, but my hair and feet. Do yourself a favor and look at what you are putting in your body first. BTW, I've been using their products for over 10 years and I've found NONE better (and, yes, I tried them all).

I was so excited to receive my Carley's Clear & Smooth based on all of the positive reviews it has received. I felt based on the positive results of others, I had found my miracle system. I was also looking forward to saving money versus paying for expensive dermatologist visits and buying Proactiv. However, this product made my skin and acne worse! I followed the directions word for word. It seemed to work the first few days, but after that my skin was extremely oily, itchy, red and agitated. It also made my blackheads worse and my skin look dirty. After washing my face with the treatment, my face felt like it was on fire and about to burn off! My acne became very cystic around my nose and on my chin. I contacted Steve a number of times about the problems I was encountering in hopes of getting some good advice. Other reviews raved about his great customer service, when in fact he was very short in his answers with me and not very helpful. After about a month of trying to use the products faithfully and without success--not to mention the same problems, he told me to send it back. I wasn't satisfied with his response and wanted the product to work so bad that I continued to try an additional month. Unfortunately, I still experienced the burning, redness, itching, and even worse cystic acne than before. I sent everything back and on a positive note, Steve promptly refunded my money. I was disappointed Carley's didn't work for me, especially considering so many other people feel it works wonders for them. I am thankful for my Dermatologist and Proactiv! They do work!

My son is so pleased with Clear and Smooth. I love the soap and use it a lot. This is a class A product and company.

Their acne products work, and we think they work best in combination (the scrub, soap and the moisturizers). Needless to say, neither of us ever shop for face/body moisturizers/washes after Carley's. I must say that the scrub is hardly a scrub as you might think--it doesn't tear your face up like a lot of the "scrubs" out there. I use a washcloth with the soap afterwords (as recommended) and this seems to do a great job making my skin smooth, shiny (in the healthy way, not the greasy way) and getting better every day. I have not yet tried the teen acne regimen, but because even though I'm 24 I still have acne (much less than before) I'm going to give it a try and will probably update this afterwards. One note of caution, and it might be purely coincidental, is that if you skip between different crappy OTC products and Carley's you might not notice any difference or it might get worse (because of the crap they put in the OTC products). If you are impulsive and cannot wait a few weeks to notice a difference and instead go back to your crapasil or what have you, which I am guilty of doing on occasion when I run out or am out of town, then you are only short-changing yourself on the product's benefits. I'm not sure if this product really takes 6 weeks to make a difference--as my wife and I both noticed a difference within a week--but if you are going to do anything after starting this product you should consider spot treatment with BP--acne.org's brand is really cheap and effective. Your skin should not be peeling, turning red, or anything like that (unless you are new to benzoyl peroxide, the active ingredient in every single decent acne product [salicylic acid sucks], or allergic). If it does you are doing something wrong. Go lightly, make sure to moisturize plenty, and let the product work naturally. You can't go wrong with high quality ingredients versus the animal byproducts, waste, and overall chemical stew of alm
