Pros:

IT WORKS!!

Cons:

NONE

Tried all the other $69+ products before and got tired of giving my money away. Been a faithful customer since 11/09. You do have to give it time to work and kinda figure out our own routine of whats best for your skin. They give good instructions but that might not work for you. Its DEFINITELY worth the time and money!

Pros:

Good for removing oil from my hands after working on my car.

Cons:

Extremely harsh, broke me out ridiculously, it's been two months and I still havent recovered from the 2 weeks of using this product.

DON'T USE IT UNLESS YOU'RE A MECHANIC AND NEED SOMETHING TO TAKE OIL OFF YOUR HANDS. IT LITERALLY STRIPS ALL MOISTURE FROM THEM.

Pros:

Skin feels soft.

Cons:

Red spots become redder.
Breakouts

This skin care line is a scam! The reviews are fake! I tried this line for two weeks and caused major breakouts. This is what brought me to try acne.org regimen!

Pros:

Very Effective
Natural
No side effects
Doesn't need any other treatment

Cons:

None

I and my brother both had severe acne and got rid of them using this product. You just have to use the soap and the scrub on a daily basis , and no other products. It may take a couple of weeks to work, but just be patient and I guarantee you that you will get clear skin!

NO funky chemicals
all natural

IT WORKS!!!

Cons:

kinda smells like grandma's medicine cabinet

I had fairly clear skin as a teenager, but when I hit my mid-twenties my face erupted. I'm not talking little white heads, I mean dime-size, agonizing, cystic acne that took weeks to heal. It's left me with scars that continue to form blackheads. Not pretty at all, turning 30 on top of it all was downright depressing! I tried everything OTC and prescription. If it didn't make the acne worse, it dried out my face, making me look older. I found Carley's a few weeks ago and the difference is AMAZING! All the acne is gone, I had no allergic reactions, no drying or peeling, and when I put on make-up, my face looks PhotoShop FLAWLESS!!!! I'll give up my cellphone before I give up Carley's!

Pros:

Highly Effective
Very Easy (no hassle really)
Once a day use
Very natural ingredients
Nice, smooth feeling after use
Large Bottle, comes with free soap bar and sample moisturizers

Cons:

It's a scrub
Contains BP
Contains other (supposedly) harmful ingredients which some folk say can damage the skin
Only online

I am 23 yo, and male. I have trialed this Carley's treatment on a few separate occasions over the past couple of years. Each time it has nicely cleared me up. It is not like a prescription or an antibiotic (both of which I've used in the past) that artificially clears your skin completely, it seems to work very naturally in creating softer, clearer, and even slightly less oily skin. On my first trial it took about two weeks before I noticed the results and then my skin was pretty much clear from there on out. When I use it I don't "scrub" with it. I gently move it around on my face and rinse it off within a minute. It is just once a day, and in the shower works nicely. You may find that moisturizing is necessary as it does contain BP, so using it at night followed by moisturizer works well. Be consistent, be patient, and you will get results. I am currently trying to wean myself off of it simply because I've been moving towards an even more natural approach of not washing my face regularly and not relying on any particular treatment, in hopes that my skin will learn to somewhat care for itself. The other times I quit Carley's was simply out of unwarranted impatience. My skin would at times get break outs, which I now know were probably the result of my diet and lifestyle (excessive alcohol, smoking, lack of fruits/veggies, lack of sleep, stress etc.), so I would ignorantly stop using Carley's. However, every time my skin has developed difficult acne, for extended periods, I've gone back to Carley's and it has cleared me up. The magic of Carley's is its simplicity and its lack of irritation. 2.5 BP is in the scrub so you can just use it during your shower, you don't have to sit and rub cream into your face afterwards. It does seem to require fairly regular use, but missing one day, if your face does initially get irritated, won't hurt you. I am always very careful and gentle with it, and it has always been effective and c

Pros:

Works and works well
Makes skin feel softer and smoother
(a rarity in an acne treatment)
Does not bleach hair or clothing since the benzoyl peroxide gets rinsed off
Feels like a luxury spa treatment

Cons:

Waiting for it to arrive

I have been ordering this for I believe close to a year now. I have only one mantra about Carly's and it's this, never, ever run out. I did run out once and my acne was back within days. I'm almost 40 and have had bad acne all my life and nothing worked, not prescription antibiotics, not Retin A,nothing. I can't believe how much money I have spent in the past on stuff that didn't work or did a crappy job. I finally just resigned myself to having bad skin. Somehow I searched acne on E-Bay and on the fifth or sixth page there was Carly's. I read the feedback and can honestly say I was floored. Could it be that someone had found something to help people like me? I bought one bottle and it was like a miracle for me. I still break out and still have acne, but it is much less severe,my skin isn't as irritated and it feels better. If I do break out my acne heals much more quickly and it feels softer, smoother and more like I always imagined normal skin would. I don't ever write reviews, but this product has saved my skin and sanity. I hope it never stops being sold. Carley's Clear and Smooth Kick A** Industrial Strength for Teens has truly been a miracle in a bottle for me.

Pros:

the bar soap was easy to wash off

Cons:

this stuff JACKED my face up
smells bad
time consuming
dry skin

When i started using this, I would normally have one to two pimples on my face. By the end of using this, I had cystic pimples all over my face (which i RARELY got before using this), and dry/flakey skin. I REALLY wish i would have never used this. I'm pretty hesitant to believe that this many people have had success using it.

Pros:

-provided a large volume
-smells great
-not as irritating as other products (e.g. proactiv)
-easy to use/quick to use
-significantly reduced number of pimples
-reduced severity of pimples (not as large or persistent)
-very economical

Cons:

-uses milled walnut shells as exfoliator, would prefer synthetic beads of some sort that are less abrasive
-did not get rid of my acne completely

I'm usually not one to post reviews about acne products, I usually just read them! I use to be a religious proactiv user (for 6-7 years), but I found that it made my skin so hyper sensitive to sunlight that my face ended up much more tan than my neck and ears. After trying a number of other products, which pretty much failed... I tried Carley's Clear and Smooth Industrial Strength for Teens (even though I'm in my mid-20s). It was the best solution for me. I don't use the soap to wash the product of my face afterward as instructed, but I always use a facecloth (I find it makes a big difference regardless of what I product I've used). I still have "light" acne, induced my exercise I believe, but I am consistent with using Carley's cleanser for the past 18 months and do feel it makes a tremendous difference... I don't plan on changing products anytime soon.
