Pros:

Helped even out my skin tone and texture.
Takes only 1 minute to use.
Reduced my blackheads.

Cons:

Expensive!
May cause initial purging/breakouts.

I have the smaller "Mia" version. I love this. I received it as a gift and it has made such a wonderful difference in my skin's clarity, tone, and texture. I did experience an initial "purge" stage for the first few weeks, as it was making clogged pores and impurities surface, but I've been using this over a month now, and I am now completely clear and flake-free.

I love the clarisonic! It is one of the best acne devices out there! It cleans my skin so well, leaving it smooth and glowing. I can't believe I didn't purchase this sooner. This has helped clear up my acne so well!

Pros:

Cleans my skin incredibly well & makes it so soft. Reduced my acne by 75%!

Cons:

None!

I purchased this because I wanted to try something different then just changing products. It's the best decision I've ever made. My acne is not completely gone but it's reduced by at least 75%! Now that is what i call magic. And when I get new pimple they don't hang around for nearly as long. It's an absolute fantastic product I would recommend to everyone.

Pros:

- cleanses skin
- leaves skin smooth
- gets rid of dead skin

Cons:

- can irritate the skin
- leave the skin raw if used too much
- can make acne worse

I've been using the clarisonic for about a year, and for the first few months (1-4) it was working pretty well. It actually cleared up my skin (along with Murad Acne Complex) about an additional 15%.It made my skin smooth, got rid of dead skin, and worked great as a facial scrub. Then for the next 3 to 4 months I didn't see any more improvement. Afterwards (and up til now) my acne has been getting worse and I have horrible black marks (I can't necessarily call them scars because sometimes they heal and go away after a few months). I used to use it twice a day along with Murad and after the worsening acne I brought it down to once per day, and now I don't use it at all. At first once I stopped I was afraid of getting cystic acne (like I have when I tried to stop using in the past), but thankfully I haven't. I've also been using Murad for about 2 years but have seen no significant improvement in the past year. The first year I saw about a 40% improvement (but as the same with the clarisonic) the past year has done nothing for me. Now I'm thinking about starting on Cetaphil, Black soap, or go back to Proactive (which I last used 6 yrs ago). Long story short, I would use this product MAX once every other day and only as a scrub or for micro-dermabrasion. DO NOT use this everyday. I've actually spoke with an aesthetician, who said it was too abrasive. Many would say that your skin would have to "purge first", but after 4-6 months of "purging" I personally had to say enough. Please do not use this everyday, it will cause too much irritation and for those with oily skin, it will make the oil increase because your skin is trying to make up for it. - Based on past experiences - I only have black and white heads (but in a horrible amount) & some acne marks. - Oily/ Combination skin - Used Clarisonic for 1 year Summary: - Use it sparingly (no more than once every other day). - Use it as a scrub, but not along with your usual and

Pros:

Cleared up my acne almost completely. Skin is softer and less oily.

Cons:

Price

In the past, I've tried multiple prescription washes and gels in an effort to be rid of acne. These had little result, as I would still get one or two cysts at a time as well as smaller pimples. I've been using the Clarisonic for the past month and a half in addition to my normal Clean and Clear salicylic acid cleanser and the difference has been amazing. My face is now almost completely clear. The zits I do get are small and go away quickly. In addition, I've noticed my skin is softer and less oily. I used the Clarisonic twice a day for a minute each for the first few weeks, but have since started using it longer and it's really helped!

Pros:

Cleared up skin, shrunk pores, squeeky clean

Cons:

Does not hold charge for long

I've had acne for years and have tired everything. My skin looked better after about two weeks of using Clarisonic, and is almost completely clear after two months. I use it twice a day with a BP cleanser and I use Tazorac at night. I'm amazed at the results. I only regret that I didn't buy one of these as soon as it came out.

Pros:

Easy to use, skins looks and feels so much better, smaller pores, less breakout (practically zero so far), BUY BUY BUY this it works wonders!

Cons:

Price! I paid almost 180 and was really kicking myself when I left the doctors office...felt like a sucker. Daughter told me I was crazy to buy...but now she is so grateful because her skin is looking great also :) ~

Wow! I LOVE this device:) I am SO happy I bought it, my skin is just looking "normal" if you know what I mean..it no longer has the HUGE OILY ACNE appearance. I know its pricey (fyi Ive seen new ones on ebay for around 125) but believe me it has really surpassed my expectations. Wish I had this years ago!

Excellent brush!! Great results!
I have been debating about getting a Clarisonic for over two years. After 6 years on Spiro, I finally decided I was ready to go off it and see what happened. My face was completely clear and my back was semi-clear. I use the acne brush with my Mia 3 Clarisonic twice a day on the medium setting for one minute. I have learned over the years that my skin is VERY tough and needs lots of exfoliation. For the last three months, my skin has remained clear. I use Dermalogica Medibac Cleansing gel with the Clarisonic and then a mandelic acid toner afterwards. The other amazing product I have found is a 10% mandelic acid serum from make-up artists choice that has kept my skin completely clear. I use it every day instead of benzoyl peroxide now. It is a miracle. I was signed up and registered to begin Accutane prior to giving this regimen a try. I have had moderate acne for 25 years and I'm finally clear! If you can afford it, give this brush a try. Also give the Mandelic Acid a try. It is truly amazing!!!

Pros:

-effective, quick results
-glowy skin, minimizes pore appearance
-best skin texture
-sturdy, water proof

Cons:

-default sensitive brush not great
-not good for live acne
-charge runs out quickly

Do not use on live acne where bacteria will be spread. One clearish skin, this brush will change your skin texture and contribute to continually clear skin. My acne has been severe in various phases of my life and I've used Proactiv for 3 years, Clinique Acne for 1 year and only the Clarisonic will change the appearance of your skin. My routine is brush in the shower in the AM with a simple acne wash and Clinique Acne moisturizer on spots and simple hand washing at night. Trust Dan when he says don't agitate live acne. Save this brush for clear skin.

Pros:

-Leaves skin feeling extremely clean
-Noticeable reduction of blackheads
-Fun and easy to use
-Brush heads only have to be swapped out every 3 months
-Excellent for removing deep acne scarring
-Makes it easier for skin to absorb moisturizer, makeup, serums, or anything else that you put onto your face

Cons:

-As with most acne products, you have to ease into using it

I know that this says that I've only been using the Clarisonic (I have the Mia) for about a week, but I feel like I need to explain what has happened so far just in case you have just purchased and started using one. I have pretty moderate acne, and when I started using this, I noticed that it really does get my skin cleaner than just using facewash. My blackheads that used to literally cover my entire T-zone are virtually non-existent now, and the intense acne scarring that I have has gone down a little. If you are going to use it for getting rid of acne scarring along with whatever other reason, I would recommend using a good cleanser (i.e. Shiseido White Lucent) to use with the Clarisonic to help to get rid of scarring and age spots. If you have moderate acne like I do, I would definitely recommend using it once a day and then progressively moving towards twice a day (if you need to). Also, don't make the mistake that I did and use it for longer than a minute...that caused me to break out, not horribly, but enough to stress me out. And because the Clarisonic is technically an exfoliator, USE MOISTURIZER. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product.
