I read a lot about acne products and what surprises me the most is that this facial wash is lacking tea tree oil. I hear nothing but good on tea tree oil! Would be neat if people start a topic about adding in tea tree oil with this cleanser and test the difference... as far as how much, that would be hard to decide. I would think that 10% pure tea tree oil added to the cleanser would help significantly.

Pros:

Very good lather, cleans well, rinses clean, cheap

Cons:

very drying, especially around the mouth; smells bad, but the smell rinses off

This product is worth it because it cleans well, but it is definently overdrying. That's not as big a problem as it sounds, though, because that's what moisturizer is for. I think that he could improve the formula, though, for that reason. Also, it turned out to be better for shaving than I thought it would be.

Pros:

A lot for your money, lathers well, gets the job done and doesn't dry out my skin.

Cons:

Very bulky bottle.

This is a good product, comparable to Cetaphil, works wonderful. I love how you get a lot for the money you pay, 16 oz is huge, but the bottle is definitely bulky, so I pour some into my old Cetaphil bottle because Dan's cleanser is too big to sit on my sink (I don't have a counter). I would definitely buy again, it is such a gentle cleanser and one of the best I have used. It is nothing spectacular, but it does what it says.

Pros:

gentle, cleanses skin well, no residue, removes makeup, big bottle

Cons:

With shipping it's kinda pricey... but on second thought it's worth it

This stuff is great - it's gentle so it doesn't irritate your skin but it's still effective enough to thoroughly cleanse and even remove makeup

Pros:

it lathers well and has a light scent. BIG bottle so you wont run out fast.

Cons:

doesnt get the job done.

Ive been using dans regimen for a few monthsnow.. GAHHHh!! DOES NOT WORK! but its worht a shot. everyone's skin is different, this just diddnt for me. and i have mild acne. most likey it will not work for severe. better stick with the proactive....

Pros:

Very gentle; has worked well with Dan's BP solution to clear up my tough acne. Doesn't leave skin as dry as other cleansers.

Highly recommended, works better than (even very gentle, like Basis) bar soap at helping to prevent acne.

Pros:

Works Great as a cleanser, Best shaving cream ever. Lathers great. Affordable price, lasts for months Perixide gel is great

Cons:

Sstay away from prolonged direct sunlight directly after using peroxide gel.

Follow directions on package to a T. Works great when used as directed. Depending on your skin it might take some time to see big results but they come. Definately worth a try.

Pros:

cleans okay and is not overdrying which is nice; The price is affordable since it lasts many months depending how much you use it; lathers up real well and for people having problems with lather rub your palms in circles to get a good lather

Cons:

does not clean well like other stronger cleansers; think I have little bumps on forehead b/c of that fact; got a filmy feel afterwards; way too big for convenience

I have very oily skin though so I need do need a cleanser with a higher PH to clean all of that off but not be too overdrying; this is better for normal skin and dry b/c it just cleans but I need one that will do more so probably one with a little higher of a PH or an extra ingredient; still overall pretty nice and not overdrying which was a good thing but my skin gets oily again anyway so having a cleanser thats drying does not matter really; I use dove creamy facial cleanser which is just a little drying but overall still really good

Pros:

Kinda cheap if you buy in bulk.

Cons:

It honestly does overdry. A lot worse than anything else. A lot of these reviews are biased as you can easily tell. My sister also tried it and said it was way to overdrying. So buy a bottle and see how it works.

Pros:

Works darn well.. of course it probably depends on the person, but ive probably used bout 8 diff products. proactiv included.

Cons:

the first week i didnt like it, too slippery and didnt seem to work. after that it worked darn we.ll- remember not to rub skin too hard

try it out, 1 bottle of this and a bottle of the other. after using both for a couple weeks. decided. i decided to buy 6-10 at a time each. good luck. oh yea- looking back at other pictures, acne has been reduced signifcantly. no more photo editign family pictures. hope its the same for you.
