Acne.org : Cleanser

I find using the soap with a treatment really reduces down on acne break out. I have extremely oily skin, therefore, do not get the drying out as others have described. So far it is working good. I have the least amount of break out than I've had over the last year. Also, you can not beat the size of bottle you get. You do have to pay a bit in shipping and handling but well worth the purchase.

At first, I thought it was overdrying. But, wanting to get my money's worth, I gave it a chance and now like it the best. It is very gentle and has an amazing lather. However, I am not a fan of using soap for shaving; gels make for a much closer, easier shave.

I've had mild acne for years. I tried everything out there and nothing seemed to work. I'm two months into the regimen and it has alleviated my acne almost to the point of completely clear skin. Stick to the Regimen's instructions exactly the way they are stated and it will work.

At first, I thought this was a tad overdrying, but what cleanser isn't? Then I figured out that I wasn't getting nearly adequate moisturization. After getting used to it, I found this product to be the least overdrying of everything. Shipping was a little expensive, but the big bottle lasts forever, so it is much cheaper in the long run. This is good enough for me to reorder.

i used proactiv for 6 months, and in the last month developed an allergy to it. at 32 y.o., i had the worst skin of my life. desperate, i found acne.org and decided to give dan kern's products a shot. it was a godsend. i've had amazing results using this with the rest of dan kern's regimen. this guy is truly a genius. i am not embarrassed about my skin anymore, and feel good using these products knowing that they are earth- and animal- friendly.

This stuff is great - it's gentle so it doesn't irritate your skin but it's still effective enough to thoroughly cleanse and even remove makeup

Highly recommended, works better than (even very gentle, like Basis) bar soap at helping to prevent acne.

Follow directions on package to a T. Works great when used as directed. Depending on your skin it might take some time to see big results but they come. Definately worth a try.

I have very oily skin though so I need do need a cleanser with a higher PH to clean all of that off but not be too overdrying; this is better for normal skin and dry b/c it just cleans but I need one that will do more so probably one with a little higher of a PH or an extra ingredient; still overall pretty nice and not overdrying which was a good thing but my skin gets oily again anyway so having a cleanser thats drying does not matter really; I use dove creamy facial cleanser which is just a little drying but overall still really good

You won't find high-grade, high-quality cleansers out there of the same volume and pay the low price you pay with this cleanser. Divide up the amount you paid between the months you use it for, and you practically pay about $3 bucks per month. Worth it, I think! I've used it every day for 3 months, and have had no reaction. It's very gentle to my skin. I was a bit hesitant to switch since I've been using the J&J Purpose bar that worked fine, but that was a little bit drying. After using this, my skin hasn't had any reaction to the switch. In fact, my skin has gotten better, coupled with the BP gel. There's no scent that I can detect, or if there is it's very light. The cleanser foams up very nicely even with my harsh hard water, and rinses off very well. My skin is left clean and very soft. My skin has improved tremendously since using the clear skin regimen.
