Pros:

Works really well, made my skin alot less red, reduced big inflammed zits, far less breakouts, made my skin alot less oily thoughout the entire day not just a hour or two after my regimen was done.

Cons:

Kinda expensive, comes in a small tube and runs out quickly. Does cause my skin to become red if i use to much and sometimes peeling. and had to keep buying new tubes once a week.

Really effective against acne, but not big enough tube for the price paid.

Pros:

Extremely effective when used according to Dan's regime. My skin is completely clear after only two weeks use for the first time ever. Gel based.

Cons:

Normal side effects associated with BP. Peeling and itching. Only seems to come in a small tube.

I'm pretty sure it works comparably with any other 2.5% gel based BP product. Probably better to purchase a bulk product, like Dan's, rather than fork out for a more expensive product like this one. It does work though.

Pros:

from the day i have started applying benzac my skin is less prone to acne

Cons:

the only problem is if a zit does cum up in a few weeks it takes 3-4 days to heal completely

i dont follow Dan's regimen religiously , infact its been 6 months since im treatin my skin with B.P n ive never applied moisturizer , probably my skin is just too oily . red marks are still der but not so prominent.

Pros:

Works in reducing sebum plugs, dries out active acne

Cons:

Slightly expensive if compared to other BP treatments

I had acne for yeas and them my dermatologist sugested I use this and I thought, oh yeah another treatment. I started applying it and for the first few days my sking was little red then my Acne cleared. the plugs dissapeared and acne reduced completely. Try it atleast for 2 weeks before deciding

Pros:

It smoothed out my skin and got rid of even the infected spots. All of the blackheads and sebum pugs on my nose and cheeks are gone as well as the blocked pores on my forehead and inbetween my brows that were causing so many breakouts.

Cons:

Alot of redness and peeling occurs during use. Moisturiser controls this very well but my face was still noticeably pink and patchy. It brought up the spots that had not yet come up on the skin.

Gets rid of spots and imperfections quickly and effectively. My face is virtually clear in a very short amount of time. But I am not sur how long the clarity will last after I finish the treatment. But beware of the redness and dryness that occurs with this treatment and never skip on the moisturiser. I had to go to school with a red face that lead people to thinking I have sunburn or some sort of allergy. My sixteenth birthday is coming up so I was anxious that my face cleared up and not go back to the degree of acne that I used to suffer from. I also used a cold cream soap- free cleansing bar by avene and the black and red fucidin which I think contains cortecosteroids on infected or inflamed spots and altogether it left my face clear in just over a week. I thought my acne would get out of hand as it used to be far worse but this just about stopped it in its tracks and left my face clearer than I'd ever wished for. Hope this was of help. :-)

Pros:

- Dries out larger pimples in a couple of nights
- Easy to apply
- New pimples are smaller, less noticeable

Cons:

- Some stinging, redness, but this was ONLY when I used too much. If you follow Dan's guide on how much to apply and gradually increase the amount, you should be fine
- after waiting for it to dry, moisturiser still doesn't go on very smoothly

I recently bought this product to go with Dan's regimen after mainly trying products with salicylic acid etc. The texture of my skin has really improved and I haven't found the drying effects to be that bad, as long as I moisturise. My skin is not yet completely clear, but I'm very happy so far, considering I only use Benzac at night and only for a week so far. I'm looking forward to clear skin soon!

Pros:

It dries up acne fast and lessens inflammations quicker. Is absorbed more efficiently by the skin as it's water-based. No sticky feel.

Cons:

Too much too soon might dry up skin.

Effective product to use for the regimen. First time users should follow regimen, starting with smaller amounts then gradually building up to more.

Pros:

It is definately working - it has been 3 weeks now and all the pustular acne has gone. It is gradually clearing :)

Cons:

If you touch your skin it peels but that's probably a good thing as it encourages me not to touch!
If you use too much too soon like I did- severe chemical burn (like a bad sunburn) and hideous peeling

Overall I recommend this product as long as you start with a little then gradually use more

Pros:

This is very gentle as compare to other BP gel/cream which can be found in my country, at the same time effective. Not drying. Less irritation.

Cons:

More expensive if compare to Dan's BP treatment gel.

This Benzac AC 2.5 Benzoyl Peroxide Gel (60g) is water base, just like Dan's BP treatment gel. I will recommend this BP gel over the others, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Pros:

Works quite well and is gentler than other brands of BP.

Cons:

Quite expensive to be used with the regime in the long run. It has tiny beads which could be a little rough on the skin.

It's one of the best BP I've tried which can be bought over the counters in my country but quite expensive in the long run. I was using this before I purchased Dan's BP and would also recommend this if Dan's BP is not available.
