It works but it needs a lot of time

Pros:

It works

Cons:

It needs time

I have been using Benzoyl peroxide 10% for 4 months and it let my face clean (I only had some red marks) but after the summer my acne came back so now I'm using it in combination of topical isotretinoin. It works but it need time, give it 3 months. It has never irritate my skin.

Cons:

Dries face out, some reddness

I am 16 years old and im seriously done with acne. I cant stand it. I've tried everything from Proactive to regular cleansers. Then my doctor prescribed me with this product. The best results ive ever gotten has come from this Product. Ive noticed results the first week ive started using it. I first wash my face with cetaphil cleanser than i put this stuff on my face every morning and every night. This stuff works pretty good :)

Pros:

Love it. Has helped my skin. I still get break outs but between the bar and gel, it helps

Cons:

Dry skin, itchy sometimes, but like others said I'd rather have that then acne

I've suffered and I truly mean suffered from acne since I was 12. My older brother suffers too. Nothing ever seemed to work for me. I tried everything over the counter and prescription. Stuff would work for a while and then BAM huge break outs. I go through cover up so fast trying to hide the zits and pimples. I still am self conscience and I am almost 29. My face and back are looking much better thank to PanOxyl. I've been recommending it. It hasn't cleared my skin totally but it has made a huge difference.

Pros:

i have just started using this since looking it up on this site, and it actually has made a difference in my skin. my skin feels smoother right after being washed, and is clearer by the morning. pimple sizes have reduced, and no new pimples yet!

Cons:

Temporarily irritates my skin a little after being washed, and makes it tight throughout the night so i cant smile or yawn. Doesnt make oily skin very dry.

Works great, not too dry skin, you start seeing results in at least 5 days. This product actually seems to be working for me, hopefully it will a life long product that can help.

Pros:

It gets the job done pretty well if you are consistent in using it at least once a day.

Cons:

It does make your skin pretty dry but that is to be expected even with very oily skin like mine. All you need is a good moisturizer and you should be fine.

I've used this for over 5 years and have been very pleased. I've tried tons of anti-biotics, soaps, prescription drugs like Retin-A, and this has had the best effect with the least amount of side effects. Your body in time seems to build an immunity to anti-biotics over a year or two so that is no good. Regular soaps don't do the job and the panoxyl bar doesn't do enough either. Retin-A is just too harsh on your skin and makes it really sensitive to the sun making it burn and it also makes your face feel like a rigid mask, not cool. This panoxyl gel has been an awesome find and goes for pretty cheap. I've just started Dan's Regimen a couple of days ago since I wanted the best results from the panoxyl gel I'm already using and so far it is already making noticeable differences and it has only been a couple of days. This 1.5 oz tube usually lasts me around 2 months (give or take) when I used it once a day. It might be less now since I'm starting the new regimen.

Works well for the price. Don't start using 10% right away.

Pros:

Clears blackheads, whiteheads, small to large, over just a few days. I used it with my Clarisonic system and my skin was about 80% clearer in a week. I am using it on my back with a back scrubber and it's not working as well there for some reason.

Cons:

None really, wish it came in a larger bottle with a pump for convenience.

It works. I have very oily skin, congested, acne-prone, not sensitive, very fair. I am a 24 year old female.

Pros:

Very cheap and easy to use.
Seems to dry and thus clear/ reduce spots.
Gives skin a healthy glow.

Cons:

Few red patches and flaky skin in some areas.

It certainly has a positive affect on the skin, giving it a smoother appearance as well as minimising and clearing spots and keeping them at bay. I would never stop using it as its almost like a miracle cure and I'm surprised it's not been hijacked by some big company and sold as such for a great deal more! Comes in 3 strengths - 2.5, 5 and 10%. I have used the 5% one for months and swear by it and just started on the 10% but may go back to 5% if it's too harsh. Start on the low and increase to what your skin can handle. One of them MUST work - it's amazing. Good luck!
