Pros:

Apparrently it works for everyone else.

Cons:

On my second day i'm noticing faint red marks appear on my face and stronger burning during application. There fore I am discontinueing its use.

I would mix this with Hydrogen Peroxiode and rub it into my face. Considering that I am 22 yrs old and I really don't have any acne I just wanted to see if this would soften up and improve my skin generally. Yesterday on the second night my face started burning and the few pimples that I do have are now turning red and almost look like they want to spread. Therefore this product seems to be GIVING me acne not curing it. Right now my face has very faint red burn marks and I fear that if i continue they will only appear worse. I will continue to try my nose how ever which has a little bit of black heads on it as it is the only part of my face that doesnt seem to be irritated. After a week or so of rest maybe I'll try my face again mixing WATER only and see if it does any damage. As far as i see it though I've punished myself for trying to improve already good looking skin. :-(

Pros:

Cheap and easy to make.

Cons:

Burns a lot
Irritates your skin
Leaves your acne red

I have a lot of cysts, and when I tried this on my skin, it burned quite a lot but I tried to withstand the pain. When I washed the baking soda off, my skin was red and screaming. I immediately applied some kind of moisturizer. It didn't help my acne at all, but it kind of stopped some acne growing for a day. How to do this: Baking Powder Water Place a little bit of baking powder (as much as you need) and mix it with a similar amount of water. Mix together until it gets a consistency that you want. If you want a more pasty consistency, add more baking powder. If not, add water. x

Pros:

exfoliates well, cheap

Cons:

can irritate skin, I didn't see a dramatic difference in my acne. I think coffee grounds work as well or better w/out messing w/ skin ph

I still use this if it's all I have to exfoliate with, but it hurts my face if left on for very long at all--and my skin is not sensitive. I think it's too basic for skin. Saw no miracle with acne.

Ive tried this for a while now and maybe its because of my lack of consistency but it never helped my acne ! I used to use it once a week but it still did nothing and now that my acne is even worse i thought id try it again but still nothing ;(

Pros:

smooth skin

Cons:

break out
itchy
irritating

if you wanna get rid of flakes, go for it, but that's when you don't mind getting acne again, and if you don't mind dealing with the marks and scars... I would not recommnad it..

Pros:

I don't use any more oil my face.

Cons:

My skin stay soft. Not dry.

I don't use any soap in my face. Just prepare a gallon of water and add two or three tablespoon of baking soda. And rinse my face that's it! My face look so pretty. No wrinkle and all the blemishes all gone.

Pros:

Cheap
Easy

Cons:

Drying
Irritating
Causes more breakouts

I've had acne my whole you g adult life (I'm 25) and someone told me to mix a bit of honey, baking soda colloidal oatmeal and water, and that it did wonders for their skin. I found a recipe on Pinterest that I started to follow. I did this for about six weeks. It was AWFUL. It smelled terrible and gave me soo many more breakouts. It kept opening up existing ones. My derma told me it did a lot of harm to my skin. I have sensitive dry skin, very fair and break out from everything. Don't try it :(

Pros:

Cons:

harsh on skin, can cause allergic reactions, can cause bigger bumps to appear on your face, causes burning sensation, doesnt reduce acne. causes itching.

not recommended at all. if you have sensitive skin, dont use this product because it will make your skin BURN. this product causes huge bumps to appear and causes irritation.
