Made me break out :-(
Has anyone else experienced this? I'm starting to get very sad about the whole situation. I've only been using it a week so maybe it's just clearing all the gunk out. My cheeks and forehead are clear of acne and it looks lovely! However my chin area which is the infected bit has got worse! Also, the Baking Soda is called Bicarbonate of Soda in the UK I think!! Can anyone confirm this? THANKYOU :)

I mix baking soda with Meaningful Beauty cleanser to help remove makeup. It worked very well and I was surprised to find it also cleared up some of the acne I just couldn't get to go away. I was not expecting this! I had pretty good skin to begin with, but now I hardly get any zits at all. I don't wear makeup every day so I don't know if baking soda would work on a daily basis. Also, I'd recommend a good toner to regulate your skin's pH afterwards.

Pros:
My face wasn't tight or overly dry after I washed it off. My skin was also the softest it has ever been!
Cons:
It did sting a bit on my nose, but I have really sensitive skin.
Try it out! I have allergic reactions to most facial cleansers and lotions, so I usually end up with huge zits in concentrated areas, even when the product is labeled hypoallergenic and non-comedogenic. This didn't immediately aggrevate my skin like benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid or alcohol. It's also really cost effective since a little goes a long way! I do recommend applying a facial lotion afterwards since really dry skin can lead to break-outs, just like oily skin can.

I used a baking soda "mask" for the first time today, so I can't say too much about long term, but i loved it! I have always had larger pores that were often visibly dirty, and no cleanser or treatment had ever cleaned them very well, but one treatment of baking soda and my pores were invisible! my face feels so clean!

it stings a little and then it goes away.
started using it four days ago after i had an out brake of pimples. My skin felt oily and had red bumps, then i read an article on baking soda and decided to try it out. It's been working so far, my skin feels smoother, cleaner, pimples are disappearing and the scars are becoming less visible

Ive used every acne medication that only make me break out more. One day, my son had some irritable mosquito bites and I did some research and read that baking soda paste will work to reduce the bumps. Sooo, I tried it on my face and slept with it overnight. Woke up a new person. Did it for 2 more days after and my face only appeared clearer and smooth with no pimples. Didnt use it for 4 days now and my face remains clear and smooth. This is unbelievable.

Pros:
Works faster and better than anything I have ever tried, and that's everything that's out there. Truly amazing that it's also so cheap, easily available, Clears blackheads, whiteheads amazingly fast, and even slowly clears large cystic pimples.
Cons:
Leaving on too long or scrubbing too hard causes dryness, irrtation, and peeling.
34 now and this is the best skin I've had since puberty. Wash your face or body with whatever cleanser and rinse off. Dump some BS on your wet hands and rub very lightly but vigorously on wet skin - don't press but move ot all around real well with light touch. Rinse off. I do this once or twice a day, and require a good moisturizer to prevent little flakies, especially when I use the BS twice a day. Only product I've ever used that continues to work, everything else caused temp. slight improvement and false hope. I still have a few small pimples, but they come and go much faster and I don't spend all morning fkn around with makeup. Highly recommend.
