Pros:

Cleared a lot of acne, made skin feel VERY soft!

Cons:

Occasionally burns lightly for like a second, doesn't get rid of small acne or blackheads that much.

It helped clear much of my acne-mostly the big zits! Not the little tiny ones as much, but it did help. I use it as a mask for like ten minutes and then wash it off, and my skin feels great and smooth! I also use it with my facial wash sometimes, it's a great exfoliator! I just barely helped my blackheads, but it did make a difference and now I'm way clearer than I was 3 months ago! I suggest you try it!

Pros:

Inexpensive
Good exfoliator

Cons:

Doesn't clear acne
Burns around your nose
It brought out small bumps and made them inflamed and bigger!!

It made my skin feel clean, but made me break out worse! I really don't know what the fuss is about.. I really thought this would work :( I ahve used it for a week.. should I try longer?

Pros:

Face feels cleaner than ever.

Cons:

None

Im so glad I found Baking Soda(omg, baking soda, on your FACE can you believe it?), its honestly the best exfoliator I've ever used. It makes my face feel cleaner than ever! I cant say its a miracle, but it does work to reduce red marks, and I have seen a small improvement in my acne. Try it, you'll fall inlove immediately! Oh, I use it everyday with no problems.

Pros:

Easy to make and very cheap.

Cons:

None.

This stuff is great although its not like a miracle. I've been using it for about a week and it has dried up a lot of the old ones and i think its preventing some of the new ones but not sure yet.

Pros:

Works fast, exfoliates, keeps skin soft and toned.

Cons:

Slite burning at first around the nose; if used everyday, severe burning around the nose.

I use baking soda every Thursday after I wash my face as an exfoliater. When I first started, I would use it every day and it made my skin very, very dry and sensitive. It also gave my skin around my nose a severe burning and stinging feeling, so I started using it once a week. (Which just so happened to be Thursdays...) Anyway, if I also have like, one or two pimples, I mix it with water and put in on the pimple(s) and it goes away!

Pros:

It didn't burn (for me), it got rid of most of my acne, it's cheap.

Cons:

I've heard it burns for other people, my acne wasn't completely demolished.

I seriously recommend this to everyone who gets acne. This was a miracle for me. And DO NOT QUIT USING THIS PRODUCT UNTIL ABOUT A MONTH AFTER USE! It is rare for a product to work miracles on your skin after only a few days. Give it some time. I didn't start seeing serious results until two weeks into using it. Now, I only have a few pimples left before my skin becomes acne free.

Pros:

Fast effective relief for acne, smoother skin, instantly gets rid of oily build up under the skin and pimples are easier to get rid of manually afterwards. Blackheads are rarely seen after daily useage

Cons:

Skin feels very flaky afterwards. Burning sensation lasts just over 2 weeks. Skin turns more red than usual and takes a month and a bit to adapt to the daily useage of baking soda & water.

If you suffer from acne and have tried all those highly recommended products off the shelves of your everyday pharmacy, this mix of baking soda is probably the close you'll ever get to finding the best cure for acne in a cost effective way. I tend to use 1 bottle cap of water to 2 spoons of baking soda in order to create an effective paste. Leave on for 20mins and wash, use 3 times a day, add some form of cream (such as clearisil) to get rid of flakes of skin after every useage.

Pros:

It definitely leaves you with softer and smoother skin and lightens acne scars. It also seems to work great as an alternative to an acne face wash. VERY inexpensive.

Cons:

Burning sensation.

Can be messy.

Everyone must give this a try since it's so cheap and readily available. Just go to the supermarket, buy some Arm & Hammer for $2, and mix it with just enough water to make it a little bit pastey. Just experiment with it. I've done this for over a week now every evening, leaving it on my face for about 15 minutes and it really does make a difference. I have also been taking zinc daily and I do Dan's acne regime and I've finally gotten totally clear. I'm going to stick to this and see which of the three I can drop, although it is really nice to finally be acne free so maybe I shouldn't be messing with it.
