Pros:

Leave skins smooth and acne free if used regularly. A quick fix in a about a day.

Cons:

Can be harsh for some people and might burn.

I've have had acne since I was 10. I've used everything! PROACTIV, MURAD, ANTIBIOTIC PILLS, CLINDAMYCIN PHOSPHATE and a million other things. While antibiotics worked for me amazingly and cleared most of my skin it did not last. 2 years later I found that my skin has gotten used to it and it is barely working anymore. Now i just use Oxy daily wash and do this every other day at night and my face is pretty much cleared up. I'm 17 now and my skin has never looked better and trust me I HAD IT BAD!

Pros:

It made my skin really smooth and took all the redness out with the first use.

Cons:

I had to rinse forever because there were little granules of baking soda left everywhere.

It was my first time using the mask and I'm extremely amazed with the results. I spent all this time and money buying heavy duty products when this little remedy was in my house all along. I'm extremely impressed and hope I keep getting great results.

Pros:

Really clears up skin quickly

Cons:

Slightly messy to apply; dries out skin a little (but moisturizer fixes it)

I use baking soda mixed with water as a scrub daily and the difference in my skin is amazing. It's really reduced the number of pimples I see - it even reduced the number during my monthly period-related breakout, which is nothing short of miraculous. It doesn't get rid of every single pimple, so I'm combining it with a tea tree oil gel which I spot treat with.

Pros:

Cheap, a million uses, you probably have it in your kitchen somewhere

Cons:

None for me.

The baking soda mask destroys whiteheads. If I get an outbreak of whiteheads, I'll mix baking soda and water, apply the paste to my face, and leave it on until the mask dries. I'll do this for three days and by the third day, the whiteheads are gone. The mask greatly reduces whiteheads.

Pros:

Clears skin, refreshes, and evergizes.

Cons:

Nothing really.

Helps clean the skin. It is great afterwards to put on a great toner like, withch hazel. And then after to use a natural moistirizer like cocunut oil, or other essential natural oils.
