Pros:

This face mask reduces pimples, redness, black heads, white heads, and irritation.

Cons:

Dries out skin slightly.

This is an excellent face mask. I used it all over my body and it worked. The only thing I would recommend is that you use your regular face wash immediately after.

Pros:

shrinks pimples
matte-ifies face

Cons:

messy
hard to make/recreate
disappointed...

I made this with lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, honey, and water (plus aspirin, duhh) and it just didn't do the trick.. it didn't leave me squeaky clean or anything, and the EVOO made my face soooooooo oily and nasty, but it didn't cause any new acne. So I tried it later, and spilled all over myself because I made it too watery- so I'd say use ONLY water (better dry than oily, trust me) and make it the right consistency. I'm trying it in a little bit, hope it goes better! again guys, don't use any olive oil it doesn't wash off and its just bad.... yeah. :D

Pros:

skin feels smoother than I have ever felt before! my skin is usually oily, and it feels like the layer of oil has drastically reduced, skin feels lighter! I only get a little oiliness around nose in morning now.

i used dispirin (brand of aspirin). i bought name brand aspirin prior but the texture was way too chalky and not smooth enough texture for my liking. worth spending little bit extra on dispirin! i use 3 or 4 tablets, half a teaspoon of water and it just all dissolves very quickly. I then add one squirt of honey and mix. I apply on face, leave 20-30 mins. Then i pat on some water and lightly exfoliate the mask off. Follow with moisturise. Skin feels squeaky clean and super soft. Use 1 or 2 times max a week. Still get the odd spot here and there, but not as bad. Might update on progress in a few months! I'm very happy with the results for me :-)

Pros:

I read that the active ingredient in aspirin is salicylic acid (beta hydroxyl acid) which only dissolves in oil- unlike the alpha hydroxy acid in prescribed acne stuff. So to use it as a facial peel I mixed the crushed aspirin with a little water and then mixed it with olive oil. The oil is very soothing and mayb eit is as good as a moisturiser. I'm hoping it will peel the scaly stuff that is emerging after the benzoyl peroxide cream I've been using.

Cons:

I haven't really used it long enough to find out if it reduces the angry red bumps on my chin. After trying the cleansing/benzoyl peroxide/moisurising regimen for a week I'm not sure if anything is really working. If I don't see results in another week I'm off to a dermatologist.
Maybe I don't have acne - maybe it's perioral dermatitis, menopausal acne, rosacea etc etc

Worth a go!

Pros:

helped my acne so much
gets rid of red spots and blemishes
gets rid of pimples and blackheads
prevents new acne from forming
exfoliates my skin and it's not rough like other exfoliating products
makes skin smooth and soft
so cheap!

Cons:

dries out my skin a bit the first day i actually do the mask but everything goes back to normal a day or two after. plus, moisturizer can help the dryness.

THIS STUFF SAVED MY LIFE! i had such low self esteem because of my bad acne and red marks. i was so self-conscious but this stuff saved me. my skin is now touchable and less red. it helped me so much. it might not work for everybody but it is definitely worth a try! i still get acne because my skin is acne prone but this definitely helps soooo much! i use it once a week and use about 3/4 aspirins with water each time.

What I do is use the mask (4 crushed up aspirin + water) for about 20 minutes, wash off and then apply Dan's AHA. I do this every other night, give or take. The result is probably the best skin I've had in years. The combination of salicylic acid and AHA seems to do wonders when it comes to active pimples and even red marks and scars. Though the latter two takes considerably more time to see results. It does makes the skin red for a bit afterwards but that's part of the reason you use it at night. It'll also sting slightly as you apply it but that's normal for something that exfoliates. I've dealt with acne for well over a decade now and have tried more than a few products (including accutane twice) and this one-two punch is something I can't do without now. Regular aspirin costs nothing and Dan's AHA is fairly cheap as well considering the size of it. Give it a try if nothing else is working. Good luck (:
