Pros:

Incredibly cheap, convenient, and most importantly EFFECTIVE.

Cons:

Can be drying.

This really works. As in, like nothing I have used. Retin-A, Retin-A Micro, Differin, Tazorac, Clindamycin, Finacea, ProActiv, Murad, Clean & Clear, Minocycline, Clinique.. the list goes on. The aspirin mask is so ridiculously simple. It irritates me that I hadn't tried it sooner! I take 4 uncoated aspirin, a splash of rosewater toner, and a bit of honey and spread it all over my face. I leave it for about 15-20 minutes. All of the whiteheads, blackheads, and cysts are gone. I used to have the kind of acne where makeup couldn't cover it because it was just downright bumpy.. not the case anymore. The results are immediate. For some reason I didn't get nearly as good results with just aspirin- the honey is very important.

Pros:

It slayed the monster that took over my forehead! It took a few days, but made a noticable difference right away. Follow it up with a gentile swab of peroxide and you're good to go!

Cons:

Burns a little and can really dry you out, but a good moisturiser takes care of it.

It works and only takes 1 pill as a spot treatment or 5 for your whole face. At $7 for 500 pills, you can't go wrong.

This stuff it amazing for the price! I am addicted to this mask it makes my skin feel so soft and glowy like a baby. The first time I used this I had some small bumps around lower cheeks and after I rinsed it off the super small bumps were completely gone and the other bumps shrunk so small you could barely see them! I use about 6 or 7 uncoated pills and crush them with a mug and mix them with honey to make a paste and leave it on for 30-45 min, or sometimes when I'm on the go I'll just put about 3 in my hand and add some water and use as a scrub-Its that instant! I am addicted- theres no turning back I use this mask about once every 1 or 2 weeks. The Aspirin is 1 dollar and honey was 2.

Pros:

skin is amazinggg afterward. it feels soft and FIRM.
really helps with small whiteheads
can be used as a cleanser too :)

Cons:

feels a little abrasive if rubbed in too hard
may not work the same way on all parts of the face
can be drying, but you can fix that if you put in a little honey

sooo. i've been using this along with zinc and milk thistle supplements and my skin has been looking hott. with two "t"s. ;) i dissolve four uncoated aspirin (coated works too, though the coating is annoying to smash up. get the uncoated kind at walmart for under a dollar. i use the smart health brand) in water to form a thick paste and add some honey. i don't think i would add the honey in the summer, but since it's winter, my normally oily skin is drying out like a beast. hehe. this should only be used as a mask when left on for an hour or two. i put it on after dinner and use it as a cleanser before bed. i tried it overnight, but it doesn't prevent new blemishes. i use acnefree toner and BP overnight. this has really helped my face. i had moderate acne before, but now i think i can say that it's mild. it hasn't helped my chest, though, which is sad, but i'm over it. hopefully not many people are staring at my chest anyway ;) hehe. so...bottom line? go

Pros:

I’ve been browsing the net for a treatment for acne. I’m 25 and still get it quite badly. Anyway I cam across this site and this idea. Because it is so cheap and I had some Aspirin in my cupboard I decided to give it a go. Used 4 tablets with a w

Cons:

None

I'm def gonna use it again. People seem to worry about the '˜risks' but if you get a headache you take 3 Aspirins? As long as you don't use 20 odd on your face I don't see how you are at risk. If your not sure about it'don't do it! Simple. I mean people have acid peels and don't worry about absorbing that!!! If anyone has acne give it a go!!!!!!!!!!! Its not gonna cost a lot to find out!!!! Thank to whoever posted this!!!!!

Pros:

Cheap as chips, easy to find, skin feels smooth

Cons:

texture not great - may need to combine with something else (honey, aloe vera, etc)

Have just used this once, so can't comment yet except to say that my skin is smoother and I may try with some 100% aloe vera gel as the "paste" is more like wet sand, so doesn't stay on well. But, I came across the following article: [link edited out] There may be something to this... The beta hydroxy, salicylic acid and anti inflammatory in aspirin make it seem logical

Pros:

Tightens pores, smoothes skin, unclogs pores, inexpensive.

Cons:

None.

I've been using the aspirin mask for four days now and I've really noticed a difference. I didn't have acne as such, but I had a few blackheads and small spots on the area around my nose. These have now gone. I have also noticed a visible reduction in the size of my pores and my skin is significantly less oily. Unlike other acne medications I've tried, the aspirin mask has not over-dried or irritated my skin. To make the mask I use water soluble aspirin but grind the tablets up first to get an extra smooth consistency. Then I dissolve the ground up aspirin in a minimal amount of water before adding honey to the mixture. This helps the mask adhere to the skin and prevents it drying out, as it otherwise dries rapidly and becomes flaky. Honey has additional benefits to the skin owing to its glycolic acid content. I would definitely recommend this mask to anybody with problem skin. I hope it helps.

Pros:

Works wonders

Cons:

none yet

This rocked! I've been alternating from the egg mask and the aspirin mask and my skin has been beautiful! I'm shocked and amazed. Everyday I use the egg in the morning. After I wipe the egg off of my face I do a literal sugar scrub. I take normal granulated sugar and use it as an exfoliater. Then after I use a little bit of lemon juice as a "toner". I've been wanting to try honey, egg and sugar for a facial scrub...any ideas? Then at night I do the aspirin mask and mush 5-10 tables and mix with water. Then I add a little bit of lemon juice and sugar and as I apply I use a little bit of pressure. My face feels amazing!
