Pros:

Absolutely fantastic at clearing up blackheads immediately. When used in conjunction with other acne products, it definitely helps to clear pores and reduce redness a little.

Cons:

None, just like everything else, you have to be consistent and patient in using it and it definitely works!

Noting is a miracle product all on its own. I like to wash my face first with Burt's Bees Oragne Oil cleanser then I put a few aspirin in my hand and add a FEW drops of water until they dissolve into a paste. Then I scrub my face gently with the aspirin and leave it on for anywhere from 10-20 minutes. Then I rinse it off and use Burt's Bees Tomato Toner (also amazing!). Then I spot treat my face with Tea Tree Oil. I also use Burt's Bees Pore refining mask for a change up now and then. So, although I use a couple of different things, I do think that the aspirin made a big difference in clearing up blackheads and taking away a lot of the redness and size of existing pimples. Definitely give it a try, it is so cheap and easy to do. The aspirin that I purchased had minimal ingredients (just aspirin and starch) and is so easy to incorporate into the routine that you already have!

Pros:

makes my skin softer, and feels more cleaner then using normal face washes.

Cons:

nothing that i can really think of.

it works great for me! :) i only use it once a week though so i don't over do it. all i do is; 1 - take 2 aspirins in the middle of some saran wrap and make it so it's closed in, hit it a little with a spoon or something like a meat hammer (clean meat hammer that is)until it is a fine powder, and put it in a small cup. 2 - add a little water!!! just enough to make it like a scrub plus a little liquid. 3- spread/scrub (gently) it on your face and let dry all the way for me about 5 mins. 10 mins tops though i'd say (i just don't want too many chemicals on my face) 4- wash off with warm water, and close with cold water.

Pros:

Cheap, easy, just great!

Cons:

the aspirin dried out my finger tip!

So i heard about the aspirin mask long ago and was skeptical in trying it because i was afraid it might cause me to break out more. but after reading all the reviews and feedback, i decided to give it a try. it's considerably cheap and easy to put on. i purchased a lightly coated aspirin from rite aid for $1.99 and the neutrogena healthy skin anti-wrinkle cream moisturizer for $15. For my first time, i used 3 aspirin with 2 squirts of honey and left it on my face for 10 mins. after i washed it off, my skin felt smoother and brighter. then i applied an alcohol-free toner and moisturizer. My second time was the biggest difference i've seen. i used 4 aspirin and 2 squirts of honey and while washing it off, i took advantage of the aspirin and scrubbed VERY gently. and let me say, the scrubbing effect made a HUGE difference. my skin felt clearer, smoother (like baby skin!!!) and my pores were less visible! Very happy with the outcome. Going to use the aspirin mask 3 times a week!

Pros:

Easy to make and way more affordable than other treatments! A very quick fix for zits and such.

Cons:

Stings a little, and finding things to add to it can be confusing.

A very quick, easy treatment that anyone can afford! It's fun mixing up the solution and putting in things like aloe lotion and olive oil. ^^

Pros:

Very inexpensive, very effective

Cons:

A little messy but worth it

I have only been using the aspirin mask for less than a week and I have already noticed a major improvement in the clarity and evenness in tone of my skin. I was starting to have breakout on my chin since I had to wait to reorder my Dan Kern's BP gel and I saw this forum on the asprin maks and decided to try it. I noticed the first time used it that swelling in my chin had gone down and the over all appearance and texture of my skin was softer and smoother. My recipe includes 50 aspirin crushed, some honey, and little tea tee oil. I put the mask in a little jar from the dollar store and so far it is lasting me a long time. I love how the tea tree oil tingles and leaves my pores tight. I spent about 11.00, 1.00 for the aspirin and 10.00 for the tea tree oil. Honey I already had. This is a great product and I would recommend it to anyone!

Pros:

Affordable, works well

Cons:

Dry skin but moisturizer does its thing.

Highly recommended to all who are suffering from all types of acne. I had those HUGE, deep skinned acne that can't be popped. After first application swelling went down instantly. Redness subsided in one day and I struggled with that one zit for weeks, including redness swelling and pain. My skin is much smoother; however I'm experiencing some skin dryness but its nothing major. I'm applying the mask every other day just because of dry skin. For someone who used all acne treatment products out there (Proactive included), this one is the most satisfying!

Pros:

Definitely reduces roughness of acne, makes it much smoother. I also think it wore down my acne scars after one night. Think of what will happen after using it more often!

Cons:

Crushing the acne wasn't really a con. It was kind of fun, haha.

I'll give detailed steps on how to do it here since it doesn't really say. 1.) Get around 7 aspirin. I use coated because it's all I have. I think either will work, but the coating does get a bit clumpy. 2. Get it into a fine powder. I used the edge of a ceramic coaster to crush it.. whatever works for you. 3. Squirt some aloe into the aspirin powder. 4. Use your finger and apply it all over your face. 5. Let it dry for ~20 minutes and rub it off in circles. My aloe has lidocaine and menthol in it so it feels really good to use! Aloe is a natural skin repairer so.. it's a win-win.

Aspirin works because some acne is caused by staph. The salicylic acid kills the staph.

Pros:

it really makes my skin incredibly soft and shrinks my pores!!! takes away those little surface bumps and keeps my skin from breaking out.

Cons:

it makes you sneeze!!!

i love this stuff!!! after everything i have used on my skin, this is the only thing that has worked from day 1. i use 7 non coated aspirins with about 2 or 3 drops of water and 3 drops of honey. leave on for 30 minutes and there you go soft clear skin and then when i wake up it looks amazing. the best thing i have used on my skin. and i can get like 50 tablets of aspirin for like 96 cents!!!
