Pros:

Reduced redness and inflammation. Saw a difference in clarity after the first use. Smaller pimples were gone, large reduced then gone by second mask.

Cons:

A little messy, if left on to long ( like an hour) can lead to headaches

It Works. I read through some recipes on another website and created my own to suit my needs. Here it is if you'd like to try: 5 crushed Acetylsalicylic Acid (generic Aspirin) 1 tsp distilled water 1 tsp organic yogurt (lactic acid exfoliates dead skin cells ) 1 tsp honey (heals, soothes, moisturizes skin)If skin gets real dry add 1 tsp Aloe gel as well) 1 tsp brown sugar (glycolic acid also exfoliates) 2 tsp kaolin clay (oil control, may purge skin as it brings everything to surface, also thickens mask to stay on better) 1 tsp Loose leaf green tea and rosehips ( green tea known for clarifying, purifying. Rosehips rich in Vitamins A,D and E) I drink tea twice a day then use left over leaves in my mask.

Pros:

It works - the redness has gone away
The zits are gone

Cons:

Skin has dried out - use moisture after mask
A little bit of sneezing - nothing much

This aspirin mask really works. You use about 3-5 aspirins, put it water, and mix together - you don't need to cut aspirin, as water softens it. Put it on for about 20 minutes (maximum!) then take it off with water. In these 20 minutes lay down and have your head still, as your face will look like it has a wet cement on it and may fall off - the aspirin mask, not the face. Then wash it off with water and wait until morning. You will recognize the difference. Use it once a week and NOT MORE - as it can cause redness and/or headaches and/or skin can dry off. So use it once a week - use it for about 4 to 5 weeks and you will see that your skin will become clean.

Pros:

works fine I guess. just don't leave mine on for more then a few minutes.

Cons:

none, if not left on until absorbed into the blood stream.

gentimycin comes in a tube and can be prescribed by your doctor. a very tin dab of that on each pimple does wonders. Not sure of the long term affects. laser can help also if done by a very skilled tech. (MD) best of the best my friends.

Pros:

Being a derivative of salicylic acid means it has similar healing and soothing qualities; grainy texture of crushed-up aspirin functions as an exfoliator; seems to keep skin's excess oil in check.

Cons:

After it has dried on your face, the powder goes up your nose and you sneeze like crazy. Also, I am wary of reports that topical applications of large doses of aspirin can indeed be absorbed into your bloodstream.

This works great as a homemade remedy. Not sure what it does over the long-term, but as a weekly mask, it's pretty amazing.

Pros:

Super cheap and more effective than expensive masks. Easy to make.

Cons:

It's gritty. Be careful washing it off your face so as not to irritate any acne blemishes. It tends to flake off as it dries, maybe combine with a binder (honey?) to help prevent this.

I love using the asprin mask. It really made a difference for my skin. Its so affordable you can mix up a mask a couple times a week and not worry about it! You could also try dissolving an asprin in some toner, or in your face wash to use it everyday!
