Pros:

Works wonders on my skin!! no more new pimples for the whole 2 weeks!!

Cons:

taste, smell and a lil bit pricey..

at first i was very skeptical about this ACV to works on my skin because i have a very sensitive skin.but i can see such a wonderful results in just 3DAYS!! my skin feel smoother, bumpier and shinier despite the marks still visible on my skin. i use green tea to dilute the ACV in ratio 3:1.green tea makes the ACV works more efficient, it helps to detoxifies our skin and it doesn't dries up the skin.you dont need to rinse this toner after applying it and it is wearable overnight.i also recommend to drink 2tbs of ACV with a glass of water and 3tbs of honey for a more consume-able taste.try this, it works on me yet i dont know if it works for you.beat 3-4 drops of ACV with egg white and use as a mask for 10mins.rinse with warm water and feel the instant softness.do this once to twice a week.GOOD LUCK!

Pros:

Inexpensive, works quickly, helps general health

Cons:

Tastes horrible

I noticed a difference in my skin the day after I started drinking ACV. Before I started, my skin was dry and very sensitive, but the ACV dried up my oily skin and acne from the inside out. I've only been using it for five days, but I've had my severe acne get much better. I hope the results continue to make my acne get better and better. I take one tablespoon with each meal. I dilute it in about a cup of water. It helps me to hold my nose while I drink it and (while still holding my nose) wash it down with a lot of water. If you're suffering, give it a try. It's cheap, and it worked for me.

AMAZING! IT'S A MIRACLE
I suddenly encountere dadult back and chest acne about 2 months ago. They started off about 5 or 6 pimples but continued to get worse and worse - im not sure what this was down to as my routine didnt change so I guess it was a sudden hormone imbalance. The doctor put me on tetracycline which made it even worse, i read about ACV on an online forum on acne.org and after trying everything else i thought i would give it a go!!! ITS A MIRACLE! I have only been using it around 3 days (1 tbsp diluted in water in the morning and the same at night), also diluted as a toner 1:1 and rubbed on acne morning and night followed by 5% benzolyn peroxide! WOW what amazing results my near 40+ spots on my back and chest have cleared almost fully (just a few blemishes to go)! I had nearly given up hope of find a cure and my confidence was rock bottom. I can see the results happening in front of my eyes! I am going to continue drinking ACV as the health benefits are great. I am also cutting out dairy as this may also be an irritant for me. I will tell anyone to try it! but be careful it is very drying and and could irritate sensitive skin if over used as a toner. GIVE IT A GO!! GOOD LUCK!

Pros:

Works amazingly well for me.

Cons:

I haven't found any.

I have had acne for about 12 years. For a few years it was totally under control with a combination of eurythromicyn, benzoyl peroxide and retin-a. That stopped working as my skin got more sensitive after adolescence. I have been searching and searching for something else that works. I started using organic apple cider vinegar about a month and a half ago and I am so pleased. I just stopped getting inflammatory acne within days and all my clogged pores and blackheads are slowly clearing. I don't mind the flavor so I just drinka shot of the stuff in the morning and at night as well as rub some on my skin with a cotton pad. I don't wash with soap, just rinse. Works better tan anything else I have tried: murad, proactive, retin-a, b5....

I am 22. I struggled with cystic acne for over 5 years. Final started drinking organic acv twice a day for a month (1tbsp in the morning and 1 at night with water). Since then my skin has completely cleared up. I no longer need to drink it for clear skin which is why I call it my cure. Definitely recommend this to anyone struggling with acne. When topical treatments don't work you need an internal fix and drinking acv did the trick for me. Can't hurt to try it as it has other Heath benefits.

Hi, i would like to say I started having acne in my mid 20's and tried everything. Finally I went to a dermatologist and said I have temporary adult acne just like teenagers do, in most cases. I would like to recommend "Aztec Indian clay" for face and body (baths). I love how my skin feels and helps with many things!!! I do recommend a dermatologist only because I suffered trying all products and spending money until I prescribed a simple cheap generic medication for less than $10 that cleared everything, I couldn't believe it. My dermatologist said my face produces too much oil and in order to clear my acne I will need to kill it from the inside as well as using OIL FREE products!! I hope this is helpful, I went 6 years before I finally went to a dermatologist and it solved everything, plus the Aztec clay reduced my scars and skin tone. I also recommend researching lemon juice on acne, it has helped me reduce darker spots from the sun and lightened my face, I try natural things and read a little about natural cleansers and now trying apple cider vinegar for better health too. Let me just say I don't need make up and I wear sunblock everyday on my face and arms, oil free of course. Please see a dermatologist first bc that has made it 90% easier for me keeping my skin clear. I hope this info helped :(

How long did it take for your acne to start clearing up? Were you dieting or taking/doing anything else to help clear your skin?

Pros:

Greatly reduced breakouts
Skin less oily
Faster healing
Digestive system is better

Cons:

It's stinky

I have been using this for a couple of months now and I really believe it's helping. My skin is less oily and I have had very few breakouts compared to normal, even during the time of the month when my skin usually gets bad. Spots seem less inflamed and heal quicker, and the red marks disappear faster. It also seems to have done something for my digestive system (I have mild IBS) which makes me wonder if that is linked to acne. I also add a few drops to a face mask once a week and it helps remove dead skin/red marks, face is very smooth after (can be little red initially but it goes down quickly). On the down side, it has a strong smell and doesn't taste great but it's okay diluted. I think it also needs to be taken consistently so you will have to travel with it.I usually take 2 tsps in a large glass of water - keep meaning to buy straws as I don't want to harm my tooth enamel. As other have said, buy an organic unpasteurized brand if you can. It's so cheap! Hope it works for you.

Pros:

I topically applied it to my skin for about 10 minutes with a cotton ball and my PH balance became balanced. I have severely sensitive and skin that is easily agitated and although ACV stinks terribly on your face it clears it up and evens your skin.

Cons:

PROS CONTINUED.. I also have a decreased appetite when taking this because my body fully uses what i take in. Also, my bowel movements are healthy. It is all around GOOD and has tons and tons of benefits internally and externally. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!

Use it. You will get used to and you will realize the benefits and I realize how some of you when taking this to detoxify or clear you acne up you tend to maybe not clear up immediatley and may even break out a little more. This is because the ACV is detoxifying your system and your skin is a huge factor in the detoxification process IT WILL PASS>>> USE IT on a regular basis though and don't skip out on it. and I recommend using BRAGGS ORGANIC UNFILTERED APPLE CIDER VINEGAR! BRAGGS though use that brand because it is the original and organic and unfiltered has all the nutrient content that help with assisting in detox and metabolism. FOR LIKE 20$ YOU CAN BUY A GALLON OF IT.. CHECK OUT HEALTH.VITAMIN STORES LIKE SUPERSUPPLEMENTS OR PLACES LIKE THAT.. YOU CAN EVEN BUY IT ONLINE. GOD BLESS in JESUS NAME

ACV is a Miracle Worker
I'm a 17 years old girl and I've always had clear skin with the occasional hormonal pimple. A few months ago, I started to get really bad cystic acne on my cheeks and chin. I felt horrible and I didn't want to go outside. I didn't want to put make up in either because it just made my face look dry and horrible. I tried so many different face washes and lotions but nothing helped and some actually made me break out worse. I felt like nothing was helping. Then about a week ago I came across a video on YouTube about how Apple Cider Vinegar helped cute acne. So I thought why not give it a shot. I started using the CeraVe facial cleanser twice a day and then apply Heinz ACV all over my face. I also would drink about 2 tbs with a tiny bit of water after breakfast and dinner. I stopped using lotion because I have naturally combo/oily skin and I felt that it helped reduce break outs but maybe that's just me. After about a week, I saw a huge change in my skin. I didn't get any new break outs and my scars were starting to fade. Hopefully after a month or so my skin will be clearer. I think the 2nd main thing that really helped my acne to clear up is competely cutting out sugar from my diet.

Amazing!
I've had acne since I was 11-12 (I'm 19 now) & I've tried all sorts of over the counter cleansers, astringents etc. I started going to the dermatologist a few years ago & was put on tetracycline tablets & deriva c gel. They controlled my acne a little but I still got some pretty bad breakouts from time to time. I got taken off the tablets (but I am currently still on deriva c) about a year ago & after a while my acne came back. No matter what I tried, my face always had at least 3-4 stubborn & painful pimples. I tried using lemon juice for a bit & it did help with some scars & controlled some acne but then I couldn't find any real lemons where I live so I went back to just the deriva c. Anyway, flash forward to months later, I realised I was starting university & didn't want to have to meet new people & have the first thing they thought about me being about my horrible acne. I started looking up different remedies & came across so many positive reviews about apple cider vinegar. I was a bit skeptical at first since everything I'd tried in the past only kind of worked for me & still left me with pimples. I gave it a try thinking I had nothing to lose. I mixed about half water, half acv (I use the Heinz filtered brand) in a bowl & used a cotton ball to rub it on my face. After 5 days, I saw a huge difference in my skin! My acne was going down & my skin was glowing. I decided to up the ante & I started drinking 2-3 tbs diluted in a glass of water twice a day. I've been doing this for almost a month now & I am so impressed with the good results! I currently only have 1 pimple on my face (it was sort of a cyst & took around a week to finally go down) but I consider that a win compared to the 3+ huge red ones I usually had. Also, I have been doing a brown sugar scrub almost every night (I get lazy with it sometimes) but it has helped in making my skin really soft & getting rid of the dry patches I sometimes get from acv. I still have really bad red marks on my face that I'm trying to get rid of, but I do highly recommend using this as a toner & drinking as a tonic to anyone desperate to get rid of acne. It may not work for all but it's worth trying.

ACV is a miracle worker

Pros:

Clears Skin
Makes you feel great
Helps with everythnig

ACV is truly a miracle worker. I am over 40 and started to have acne after I had my last pregnancy. I guess my hormones were all over the place but it was bad. I went to a dermatologist for almost a year and I was but on an antibiotic for 6 months. That is not good. It cleared up my acne but once I stopped taking it, it came right back and full force. I never had acne like this. I decided to try ACV and it has been 7 months and I feel great and my skin is so clear. Now all I have to worry about are my wrinkles ;-) Seriously, ACV is great. I drink 16 oz every day with 4 tablespoons of ACV. OK, it doesn't taste very good but I am so use to it now and the smell is no big deal. I also cleanse my skin with it in the morning and night. The mix is 50/50 (water/ACV). A Cotton ball all over my face (I avoid eyes because who knows if it helps wrinkles too - I have to check that out). It is really an amazing product! I use it for cuts and abrasions, too! The only side effect was the first day I used it I was woken up at 3am and I couldn't leave the bathroom for a while. OK, I know that sounds horrible BUT it was cleaning my body out (detoxing) and I really think that is what I needed to get my body and face on the right track. It has never happened again, so I think I'm good to go ;0)
