Pros:

- Drys out spots without drying the rest of your face.
- Antibacterial so helps to prevent some breakouts
- Really cheap.
- Easy to get a hold of.
- Reduces Redness

Cons:

- Very white so can't be used during the day (even under makeup).
- Can get over bedsheets and pillows so can be messy.
- You can look a bit "greasy" until the morning.

Sudocrem is really easy to get a hold of and its great for tons of things so having a pot in the house really can't hurt you. I use this every other evening alongside a harsher topical treatment that dries my skin out. The Sudocrem helps to soften my skin inbetween the harsher dosage of BP I use and still helps to reduce my spots. I also use it as spot on treatment if I get a spot on my cheeks or forehead where I don't get acne and it really does work almost overnight.

Pros:

works really well overnight
reduces redness

Cons:

can't wear it in the day or if going out
stings sometimes

I'm 14 and have had bad skin for ages I've tried basically everything and nothing seemed to work my mum told me to put sudocrem on my spots one night and in the morning my spots had been less noticeable I also use zinc healthy skin tablets and my skin is getting so much better and I use rosehip oil to get rid of the scarring.

Pros:

Quick acting
Consistent results

Cons:

Stains pillows
A little difficult to wash off

I don't understand how people can say it blocks pores, I've used this stuff every night for months, maybe even a year now and my skin feels smooth and looks young.. Maybe you're not washing it off completley. Apparantly it's good for heavier acne, If i get the odd spot now and then i'll use it, however i don't get break outs so often, more than likely due to the fact i've been using this stuff ALL the time. 5/5 10/10 5 stars etc.

Pros:

Clears up acne and bad spots overnight! Its also really cheap compared to other treatments. Plus the fragrance is really nice :)

Cons:

Can mark pillows and clothes. Would recommend using an old pillow if using overnight

Simply the best treatment money can buy! Its so cheap too and available at any major chemist

Pros:

It's really cheap and it's the best thing I have ever used for acne ! Nothing ever works for me and then I started using this and it works wonders . It makes skin feel really soft and clears up the acne in about 2-3 days

Cons:

Dries out face a little and makes your face look really white ( but I don't mind once you dont go out looking like this. Whatever you do don't put it on really thick . Just put on a thin layer .

It's an excellent product and I think more people should become more aware of how well it actually works . This can really help to inprove peoples lives that suffer from acne because it can give them more confidence.

Pros:

Works very well to reduce size & redness, and generally makes the acne look alot healthier.

Cons:

Quite messy, leaves a ghostly face. Doesn't get rid of the spots entirely it just reduces size & redness.

Good, affordable product, which does a good job of making them look alot better.

VERY Cheap, easy to apply and doesn't sting like medications that contain alcohol. I have very delicate skin and I have not had any issues with this product.

Cons:

NO CONS!

This product is AMAZING, I have used it for over 7 years and it makes my face look spotless. I recommend it for everyday use (night time is best). Works wonders on cracked lips.

Good moisturiser for acne prone skin
I use this every night as my skin is very dry and it helps sooth it. I defiantly recommend it if you have dry skin and find that every other moisturiser makes you break out, but just try to avoid applying it on your spots as I find that in some cases it makes them worse as it blocks your pores. It is meant to reduce the redness in your acne scars as well but I haven't noticed any difference.

Pros:

Cheap
Reduces Redness
Drys out skin (acting against sebum)

Cons:

Tough to wash off without irritating skin
Noticed more spots appearing
Smells a little funny

I find the sudocrem does reduce redness dramatically, however I although it does get rid of some sports due to its drying nature acting against sebum, it doesn't actually make acne stay gone for long and I have noticed that it can cause more little sports to appear (may be due to its thickness?) However I have been following Dan's regime and instead of using a moisturiser or glycolic acid I've supplemented it with sudocrem and I've seen wonders so far, I just hope it continues! Try it out!
