Pros:

clearer skin
existing blemishes heal faster
pores seem smaller

Cons:

liquid hard to apply to face
must massage into skin for at least 2min.

I really like this product simply because I have seen great results with it and when I stop using it I see my skin flare back up. I have sensitive skin along with mild eczema and other products, like benzoyl peroxide, made my skin dry. This kills the bacteria that cause acne and it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin, I would recommend this to a friend. After all this was recommended to me. TIP: Be sure to massage it into your skin for at least two minutes otherwise the results will be limited.

Pros:

This product works miracles on my acne; nothing else has worked, even prescriptions! We use this in the medical office where I work and that is how I found out about it. I think I may be the only one, but I LOVE the smell...you know you're clean!

Cons:

Liquid is too thin and you go through it quickly.

This product is definitely worth trying! It has worked better than anything else for me! I LOVE HIBICLENS!!

Pros:

Reduced redness
Prevented new break outs at first
Clean Feeling!

Cons:

Dries out skin
inconsistent

I started using this after my friend recommended it. I used it consistently for a few weeks. It stopped the break outs and gradually reduced the current break out appearance. It dries out your skin and makes it flaky so using a good moisturizer would be a good idea. In my opinion its too harsh to use on mild acne on a daily basis. If you are someone who has really severe or cystic acne this is a great product because it really does kill bacteria. Around finals my skin went from tolerable to unbearable over night. It was red and painful. After a couple days of using this it helped reduce it tremendously. If you have mild to moderate acne this would be to treat break outs on those bad days for sure as a go to wash. But if your acne is severe i recommend it for frequent use.

Pros:

The ONLY thing I've ever used that has cleared up my Hidradenitis Suppurativa (Acne Inversa)......and I've tried everything.

Cons:

Wish it was a little thicker in consistency.

I cannot live without this product. I've used everything from powerful oral antibiotics to tea tree oil for my HS, and nothing worked even close to as well as this product. It is a dream come true, after 10 years of pain and embarrassment.

Pros:

Works very well, cleared the deep cysts along my jawline and I no longer get large, inflamed pimples. Prevents blackheads and clogged pores from becoming infected. *Great* alternative to BP, has been FAR more effective for me.

Cons:

Not a stand-alone product, wont do anything about blackheads. Thin consistency. You might have to hunt around different pharmacies to get a larger bottle.

I cleanse with Earth Science Clarifying Cleanser, which is oil-free, soap free, and non-drying. I then follow that with a Hibiclens scrub--pour hibiclens on a dry cotton pad and gently scrub all over my damp face for at least 2 FULL MINUTES before rinsing. It's very important to scrub long enough--when I first tried Hibiclens it didn't work well because I didn't give it enough time to kill the bacteria. The cotton pad also provides gentle exfoliation. I then use a toner--Earth Science Clarifying Astringent. In the AM, I then apply Mychelle Clear Skin Serum (with SA and retinol), in the PM I use Collective Wellbeing Sal 'n Sul lotion, which is oil-free and contains sulfur and Salicylic acid. After work, I cleanse briefly with a SA and Glycolic Acid cleanser that is also non-drying. For months I was using all of these products WITHOUT hibiclens and could not get clear. I added the Hibiclens twice a day and this is the clearest I've been in YEARS. No cysts, no big red pimples!

Pros:

This is my first review on this site, b/c this is the first product that actually worked very quickly and dramatically. This is a cheap and fast method of getting clear; regardless of skin type or condition. Complete wonder. 1week-75% clear.

Cons:

Don't get any in your mouth b/c it tastes terrible. The initial Warnings about this product scared me at first, but it is mostly for Dr. treating sedated patience.

Although I had pretty good results w/ DK's Cleanser, AHA, and BP; it still seemed like I was barely winning the battle most days. I have been relatively patient b/c new cysts seems to die quicker, however it still doesn't seem to be really preventing new one's from developing. After reading reviews I picked up a bottle of Hibiclens at Rite Aid. Application: Cleanse w/ DK's Cleanser, then buff w/ a damp non-abrasive facial sponge + Hibiclen. Allow it to dry like a mask, then rinse. I then apply my moisturizer + AHA (no BP). After 5 days I'm about 75% clear and have been able to discontinue BP for the last 4 days; which was causing skin discoloration. Can it be this simple?

Pros:

Works great on breakouts. Sometimes I cleanse my face with it but I can veen dab it on a pimple or red spot and it is gone the next morning!

Cons:

Warning about getting in eyes and ears

Why pay for that expensive stuff from the dermatologist that doesn't work nearly as well?

Pros:

Best dang-on acne cleanser I've used. A little goes a long way so $10 is nothing.

Cons:

Doesn't lather too well, but it definitely cleanses.

This is a good post-cleansing treatment as well. I use a gentle cleanser first, then exfoliate gently and then put this on my face (keep it out of eyes!). Let it sit for a few minutes and gently massage it in. Then rinse thoroughly. It can be drying but What I do is use kinerase lotion afterward (contain kinetin which renews skin cells)and then follow with a moisturizer. This cleanser dried up my acne almost overnight with no new active acne forming.

Pros:

I finally found a product that clears my acne and doesn't dry out my skin! I have tried so many other products that just didn't do anything to improve my skin. Although I still do have occasional breakouts, I have absolutely seen my skin get clearer

Cons:

The consistency is very thin

Good product that finally helped my skin.
