Pros:

Helps heal exsisting acne, prevents scars from forming, lightens existing scars, improves overall health of the skin....love it love it love it!!!

Cons:

None, I guess waiting for the gel to dry, but I don't mind it.

After getting terrible breakouts after using harsh chemicals I started using aloe at night. I wash my face with a gentle cleanser, then I take the aloe out of the leaf apply it to my face and go to bed with it on, wash it off the next morning. It helped heal the acne I have, lighten scars, and gives my skin a healthy glow. It hasn't make made my skin 100% clear but it is great cause it doesnt cause any irritation and moisturizes as it improves my skin. I've been using it for about a month my acne has significantly decreased (almost all gone) the scarring on my face has gotten lighter, and my skin is no longer dry. I hope with continuous use it'll clear it up completely!

Pros:

-significant improvement of red marks in a 1-2 weeks.
-makes skin very soft
-heals sunburns
-light on skin
-easy
-natural
-cheap

Cons:

-it smells a bit weird, but i dont care at all bc it helps with red marks/sunburns
-if you put too much on, it may give you a couple pimples

I am a Caucasian female teenager with red marks and scars from an acne breakout. I am currently using the aloe vera gel for my red marks so that i can clear those up before treating the scars with laser. It literally is a gift from God. This natural plant will improve the red marks in a week, 1 month tops. if you dont see quick results, use it for at least a month and you will see them i promise!!

Pros:

Helps in preventing acne and reducing the scars. Plus, it's very refreshing!

Cons:

Gooey and sticky if use straight from the plant.

At home, I use aloe extract straight from the plant (have a large one in my garden). But I travel often, so I bought an aloe gel with pure aloe vera and anthemis nobilis flower extract. It works the same, only less messy. Wash my face, dry, dab with my self-made-toner (drops of tea tree oil mix with water), use the aloe vera gel as moisturizer. It works!

Pros:

I totally feel in love with this plant I've tried so many products off the shelf that dried up my face, caused peeling and burned my skin. I used aloe straight from the plant and rubbed all over my face. Noticed a difference in just one nights use!

Cons:

Feels a little gooey but dries in a few minutes.

WILL NEVER TRY ANOTHER OVER THE COUNTER PRODUCT!! So glad I used this plant. It really works wonders on the skin. Research the plant. You'll be so glad you did!!!

Pros:

Saw a reduction in redness and size of pimples within 1-2 days!

Cons:

NONE

I used to break out a little bit on my forehead and I decided to use Proactiv. It actually made a skin clear but once I stopped the regimen, my face was literally covered in pimples. It got real bad real fast! I tried chinese herbs, Differin gel, and antibiotics. But they didn't work, so I decided to give nature a shot. And the aloe works wonders! I have been putting aloe on my face every night and my face is actually clearing up! Its even healing stubborn acne! I recommend it to everyone!! IT WORKS, GIVE IT A TRY!

Pros:

-Makes my skin less oily and soft. I love how my skin feels cos its baby soft :).
-Dried up my spots.
- Good for scars.
- Freeeeeeeee

Cons:

-My skin feels soooo darn itchy all the time :( and it burns.
-Ive only been using this for like 2 days now but I noticed i still got one or two breakouts , dunno if this is normal but maybe its clearing it out from the inside. I'll still keep using to see the initial results. Fingers crossed.

I'm sure it works. Just give it time and use the fresh aloe plant not the gel based. Good luck.

Pros:

Makes oyur skin less oily, and prevents scars.

Cons:

Won't stop new pimples from forming.

This is good if you have poped a pimple and it is starting to form a scab, it will ease the scab and make it less noticeable. It also helps to make the skin appear less oily. there is a little to no chance that it will irritate your skin. The chances you or someone you know has an aloe plant is high so its as easy as asking.
