Pros:

It moisturizes without feeling oily. It heals sore spots and pimples fast. After using it for a month, I found I was getting less pimples as well.

Cons:

Around my time of the month, I have to add BP 2.5% to my routine, or else I'll break out.

If you aren't careful to read the label, it's easy to accidentally pick up an Aloe Gel that has alcohol in it. Those can make your skin red and dry, and

If you have bad acne, I'd suggest trying a routine that's basically Gentle Facial Wash + BP + Aloe Vera both morning and night. If you have moderate acne, I'd suggest Gentle Facial Wash + Aloe Vera in the morning, and Gentle Facial Wash + BP (+/- Aloe Vera) at night. Just make sure you get an Aloe Vera that 99-100% pure, with no alcohol in it!

Heaven on earth
I've always been prone to hormonal acne on my jaws and right cheek, so when I found out I was pregnant, acne wasn't an if but a when. My skin was perfect until I hit 7 weeks and I woke up with 6 cystic zits on my jawline and neck in one big clump. I thought they'd go away in a week or so, but didn't. They shrank, but never fully went away and at 11 weeks some even came back to be larger than before. Desperate and knowing nothing could hurt my skin worse than it already was, I saw a review for aloe vera gel. I bought the clear Fruit of the Earth brand at Wal-Mart and dabbed it on that area that night. I can't even believe this because I know how stubborn cystic acne is, but I woke up and my cysts were GONE. Completely gone. Flat. No one would believe that my skin looked like I had marbles underneath it the night before. I've been using it for 2 nights all over my face and haven't had a single new zit, small or cystic, pop up. It is drying, but it's also complete magic for me. Not to mention i was going into depression over not having the pregnancy glow everyone talks about. I use it all over my face at night after I cleanse and then I dab it on my problem areas in the morning and use my normal moisturizer to prep my make up. If you suffer from acne I highly suggest giving it a shot!

Toxic product because of the ingredients. Lily of the Desert would be better.

Healthy & Healing
I bought this product from Walmart. This is my current skin care routine using this product: AM: CeraVe foaming cleanser, Organic argan oil, birth control PM: CeraVe foaming cleanser (with konjac sponge to remove powder foundation), Aloe vera gel on spots and on nose for pores. I have found that this product helps my skin look healthier and plumper. It also helps flatten out and heal my acne, but I wouldn't say it is a miracle product for me. However, it really has done pretty well for the price, and it feels very gentle. It will burn your eyes if you put it near your cheekbones, but I find that I can put big globs on at night on my cheeks with NO irritation. If you are using harsh products with no good results, I would recommend this. I always recommend a gentler routine, and this definitely helps my skin!

Great for soothing and reducing redness and dark spots!
I have been using this product because it has 98% all natural ingredients. I just rub a little bit onto the area that is hyper-pigmented and scarred after washing with CeraVe cleanser at night. I have been using for 3 weeks or so and have seen an improvement in the overall texture of my skin and the dark area is lightning. Give it a shot! You won't be disappointed!

Pros:

*healing and soothing power of aloe vera
*forms protective barrier on raw spots when dry
*inexpensive and available many retail stores
*mixes well with too strong drug store BP products for easy dilution

Cons:

*rubs off and balls up with any friction or moist products
*has a few additives I don't need since I keep it in refrigerator
*face gets slimy as soon as you sweat

The balling up and rubbing off is really inconvenient, so I won't buy this one again unless I need it for first aid or burn treatment. I'm gonna use up most of what I have now, then try aloe vera juice instead for better absorption.

Pros:

A little goes a long way. Comes in a large jar. Not hard to find in stores. Inexpensive.

Cons:

Caused me to break out -- I guess it clogged my pores.

This product is NICE on my hair to define curls but SUCKS as a face moisturizer (for me). I will not use again on my face.

Pros:

- No alcohol, wax, sunscreens, or oil
- Seems to be Ph balancing
- Relieves redness, irritation, and drying from BP
- Feels nice and cool when applying
- Pleasant smell

Cons:

- Makes face look shiny after application
- Takes about 10-15 minutes to soak in to skin and become natural looking

I have found this to be an absolutely perfect moisturizer. I apply it after BP and it takes away all the unpleasant side effects. It looks shiny at first and takes a little while to soak all the way in, but once it does my skin is perfectly moisturized and natural looking. I love how smooth it makes my skin as well. It's also very pleasant and cool feeling going on, which helps a lot after a stressful day. I have never found a facial moisturizer that even begins to compare to how well this works. I've used all different brands of aloe vera gel and not just this one with the same great results. Just make sure whatever you buy doesn't have alcohol or lidocaine (some of them do).

Pros:

tightens skin and shrinks pore/pimples OVERNIGHT!

Cons:

Makes skin very dry and bad looking. Doesn't do much for red marks.

I use this when I get the occasional pimple and when my pores are clogged. It works SO quickly...small pimples usually fade over night and big ones only take a few days. It's GREAT in that respect. But unfortunately it didn't help me with my red marks, which is what I originally purchased it for. Real bummer, but it works for active acne, so I can't complain too much. :)
