Pros:

natural,CHEAP, softens and lightens acne red scars in just a week!!!!

Cons:

it stings the eyes. while i apply the gel all around my face except around the eye area i close my eyes but it still tends to sting them a little but it's not a big deal. it's not the best moisturizer and not very good under makeup

i never thought anything but time was going to heal my horrible red acne scars that literally cover the WHOLE area of both sides of my cheeks but i bought FOTE after reading all the raves about this gel and i'm afraid i just have to rave about it too! i apply it liberally and massage it in my skin twice a day and within 2 weeks my small red acne scars faded alot but the extremely red ones softened only a little bit but with a few more weeks i'm sure they'll keep on improving. i used to layer on heavy makeup ALL OVER to cover my acne marks but now i just need 1 layer on most parts of my cheeks! (some small areas still need alot of makeup but thats okay!) this is GREAT GREAT stuff!!!!! try it if you havne't already you won't be dissapointed. i won't be using anything else for a longggggg time :D

Pros:

It literally zaps away zits and gives your face a matte look. It fades red marks very well. It is in NO WAY oily at all. It is amazing!

Cons:

It can be a little drying and does not moisturize very well. HOWEVER, I'd rather have good skin with SOME flakes than bad skin with no flakes.

I've been using aloe vera gel for about a week now and IT HAS BEEN AMAZING. So amazing that I decided to write a review for it even only using it for a week. I tried using the DKR, but after a while, I noticed that the BP was making my skin look uneven and wasn't improving my acne that much. My skin is very oily as well, so it was really hard to find a moisturizer that wouldn't leave my face all shiny. Right now, I use my own regimen that includes washing my face with Cetaphil, using a 50/50 Apple Cider Vinegar to tone, and moisturizing with Aloe Vera Gel. The ACV is great because it balances your skin's pH levels and has helped with my skin's oil levels. I used to wake up in the morning with tacky skin, but ever since I started using ACV, its been much better. The Aloe Vera Gel is perfect for me because it doesn't leave my skin shiny and it does a great job controlling my acne. It is also amazing with red marks. I HIGHLY Recommend that people with oily skin try this re

Pros:

cheap as!!
not smelly
matt finnish

Cons:

it burns your eyes!!
can sting
can make skin tight

this is cheap as 100% aloe (not really) but close enough in a way it does moisterise but because its aloe gel right, it dries as a thin layer on your skin, which tightens your skin ( i tried as a depuffer for eye bags, and it works, but omg it burns so i stopped i domt get why it would burn though). if you want an aloe moisteriser i recommend palmers aloe gel. which is more mositerising i use on my t zone, cos it gives a matt effect. great makeup base, smoothes the skin, and when dries it makes sure your makeup stays on. cools skin in good way. if you have normal oilyish skin use this!!, makes it matt, and it does smooth skin. does not cause breakouts. don't expect miracles with amazing magically healed skin. you may think cos its natural, adn its aloe that it has antioxidants or vitamins but its in a clear container so these are useless. it simpliy doesn't irriate skin, making it easier for skin to heal with tim

Pros:

Nothing really

Cons:

I don't really have sensitive skin at all, but this stuff BURNS...like by far worse than anything I have ever put on my face.

I see that this product has good reviews...so maybe it works for some, and others not so much. But for me, it dried my skin out and burned really, really bad. The thing I don't get, however, is if you can use this product as hair gel, then that's the same stuff..residue..whatever that it's leaving on your face...it doesn't seem like much sense to me to use this as a moisturizer.

Pros:

clears up acne, heals up scars, not greasy, light, minimizes pores

Cons:

stings eyes, sometimes a little too drying

perfect pre moisturizer serum. gets rid of acne and clears up any scars. whenever i am really lazy all i do is just glob some on my face, no washing or anything, and the next day i wake up with better skin then day before. albiet greasier since i didnt wash my face. sometimes it dries out my skin, but if i follow with a moisturizer it doesnt.

Pros:

This product is practically odorless and fragrance free...added fragrances are not good for problem skin. It is cheap, and y husband and I immediately noticed results when we began using it. Seriously. Do it!

Cons:

I don't know that I would label it a con, but I find it to be quite beneficial when I use the aloe vera after cleansing face and body and then applying a non-comedogenic, fragrance free, oil free moisturizer to my face and body. This helps w/ drying.

Try it out for acne, razor rash [especially the bikini area] and other annoying skin ailments. My husband [who rarely has acne] got a badly inflamed pimple and I also had one that was inflamed for about 3 weeks. I tried MANY things to get rid of the pimple and help with the scarring; we both used some of this product and within about 2 days [after applying twice daily after cleansing the area]we were shocked. Seriously...I know I sound like a commercial but I have tried a PLETHORA of acne products and this one aids in healing. Try it!

Pros:

None

Cons:

Reddens skin

I bought this product yesterday and used it when I got home and then again last night. I have a few acne scars but even worse is something I can't even describe on one cheek--a large red splotch that sometimes oozes fluid when it dries out. I rubbed the aloe vera on my face and I woke up this morning with red, dry skin that itches like crazy. How do people think this works!! Is my skin so screwed up that I'm the only one?
