Pros:

Affordable, not oily, dries pimples, helps with inflammation, smooths texture and aids in fading blemish marks.

Cons:

none

This product is wonderful. Everyday since I have used this product I have only seen my skin texture/complexion get better. It is a great product to use if you have a problem with big pimples and need some relief from inflammation. I also like to use it because it appears to dry them out pimples quickly. And best of all is good for anti-aging. This is a wonderful product!

Pros:

It actually prevents any kind of breakout from deep within the skin.It also cleans and purifies my pores and reduces the size/redness/soreness of exisiting pimples. Sinks into your skin almost instantly, no matter how much you put on! Skin glows.

Cons:

Stings eyes like crazy when you first put it on in the morning. But thats pretty much it.

Definitely the best thing I've tried to combat occasional zits ever since I finished my Roaccutane course in April of this year. I started using this to reduce the redness that ROA had cause and to try and help with the scarring too. The redness has dramatically improved and the acne scars are SLOWLY fading. But I'd rather have a few tiny scars on the sides of my face than looking like a human pizza again. Best thing on the market and its natural too. Much more effective than all those other over the counter creams/gels that practically BURN your face off with all the chemicals in them.

Pros:

I have had red acne scars for about 2 years now. I decided to put aloe vera gel on, because we happened to have some in the fridge (my dad uses it when he has the flu), and I must say, it REALLY did help a lot!

Cons:

Dries out your skin just a bit, which is why I mix it with jojoba oil. Otherwise, NONE

Great product when mixed with jojoba oil. Fabulous results.

Pros:

tames dryness, leaves skin feeling nice and soft, great benefits, helps redness, heals burns

Cons:

NONE!

I love it soo much. Great as a makeup primer too! I recently found out, buying a 2oz bottle is more value. Because i use to buy their 6 oz one for 10.00 AUD. But you can buy 3x 2oz (6oz) bottle for 6.50 AUD because the 2oz one is 2.15 AUD. Been using aloe vera for a long time now. WOW i remember when i started :D

hydrating but not a miracle worker
I used to apply a layer of this on my skin before putting my makeup on in the morning, it acted really well as a barrier on my skin to prevent the makeup sinking into my pores and making them clogged. My skin felt nice and soft after using this and I do think it helped hydrate my skin but I don't think it had a massive impact on my acne. Ive now found a new daily moisturiser that works a lot better for my acne which i've replaced the aloe vera with. Overall it was nice to apply but I don't think it had the huge benefit to my acne that some people claim it has.

DIY mix with Aloe
I use 100% aloe gel + tea tree + neem oil. Mix together keep in a small jar or tube and apply liberally several times a day. Wash face at night with African black soap and use a good moisturizer because at least for me the aloe concoction is drying. Tested for 2 weeks now and it made a good deal of my acne dry up and made my face significantly less red. Not a miracle cure but it helped a lot for me personally. I got the idea from a YouTube video but added the neem oil on my own. (Be aware the neem oil smells foul nasty icky but darn it works the tea tree oil cover the smell)

Pros:

um.... none.

Cons:

-Burned my face!!!!
-Stinging!
-Redness, Itchiness
-Left a rash and dry scaly patches
-Is taking FOREVER to recover from :(

I read the reviews for this and decided to try it as a moisturizer since my face has been kind of dry lately. BAD IDEA. I put it on before I went to bed and it burned and itched through the night and I woke up to a beet red face that was swollen like a chipmunk. I dunno if I'm just allergic to something they put in with the aloe but holy crap I will never try this again. It seems to work well for a lot of people though so I suppose it could still be worth a try for someone new.... I would just suggest washing it off immediately if it starts to burn. :(
