Pros:

Soothing
Soft
Easy to Obtain

Cons:

Sticky
A little smelly

For best results, get the full plant itself, not the gel because although it claims to be clean, the gel actually contains harsh chemicals...Some even contain bleaches that die your skin gradually and can cause cancer You can get the plant at your local Home Depot in the plant section

Pros:

Everything, this product helps clear breakouts and stops them from happening. It even helps speed the healing process of acne scars.

Cons:

Don't use the gel simply buy an aloe vera plant and strip away its nutrients inside of the skin.

I had nasty acne 3 months ago it sprouted up like crazy. I've used everything from vitamin e oil to oxi wash to proactive. Nothing has worked as dramatically as this single plant. It takes about a week to see any dramatic changes. It'll take about a month to drastically see changes. Try combining a bp face wash like proactive (I use proactive face wash). And after washing your face apply the aloe vera gel directly from the plant onto the face. I apply generously all over your cheeks, forehead etc. Do this twice a day one in the morning when you wake up and one at night while you're sleeping. This amazing plant works great you can't beat organic natural plants.

Pros:

- Doesn't have a smell
- clear
- smooth

Cons:

- makes my skin burn, especially when I have a sun burn or flaky skin
- doesn't really moisturize well

I needed a new aloe vera gel to get because of my sun burn, and also because I've heard it's a great moisturizer to use everyday because it doesn't clog your pores. The bottom line is, this stuff burned my skin like hell. I seriously thought my skin was on fire after applying this, which I did after I washed my face and before I applied my topicals. If you have sensitive, sun burned, flaky, dry, cracked etc. skin, you might want to stay away from this particular brand of aloe vera gel.

Pros:

No strong smell, overnight it improved the look of my skin and decreased swelling of hugh pimpels. you get a lot of product for one price.

Cons:

After use face looks shiny

I just started using it because acne was brought to my attention no one with red pimpels likesthat So I was told to use this.I begrudgingly did and overnight noticed swelling had gone down and some redness. aloe vera has been around for a long time so I trust this will get me through the winter months.

Pros:

This product really helps to reduce the brown spots left from acne scarring as well as the redness left from a healing zit.

Cons:

Might leave skin feeling tight, and it does not work so well on whitehead zits or big boilers.

Overall this product is a natural, effective, and affordable product that you can pick up at your local drug store. I would try it for yourself and see if you like it.

Pros:

None

Cons:

Please, be careful and read the list of ingredients !

Thanks to Susan ... TETRASODIUM EDTA and other stuff listed are harmful ingredient, The best aloe vera gel I have found is : JAMIESON ALOE VERA, the Clear one is PURE (not the green one) Here's a good website if like me you'd like to know before you use a product for the potential hazard of mysterious chemicals we have put on our face : [link removed]> Took me year to find that kind of information, so it's a pleasure to share with others ...

Pros:

Easy to apply, works quickly (within 1st few days of use), drys quickly, clears up blemishes quickly.

Cons:

None so far

I've been using this product for only 4 days so far, but i've also been using it along with queene helens cocoa butter cream and after only 4 days, any redness that was on my forehead and inner part of my cheeks as well as outer parts is now 100% gone. i no longer have any facial redness period! after only 4 days of use. i still have minor acne on my chin but with the cocoa butter and aloe vera gel, my acne has finally met its match. luckily even after nearly 5 years of acne, i have no SCARS at all, only existing acne which should dissapear within the next 2 weeks and hopefully never return. i 100% recommend this product!

Pros:

Provides relief from inflamed acne (until the gel dries up anyway); works as foundation primer; makes face feel less oily

Cons:

Does not magically reduce appearance of acne scars; vapors tend to sting eyes; makes your skin feel tight; can make you look like you're peeling if you put too much on

I honestly have not seen a difference in acne scars with this product.. if anything, I think it's just time itself that makes the scars lessen since it takes a LONG time to see results anyway (I mean, I've been using it for a year and see plenty of scarring). This is not a miracle gel (at least for me it's not), but for the price and the quantity of product you receive, it's worth a try.

Pros:

Clearer Skin!

Cons:

At first it irritated my skin. But that improved over time.

After reading about aloe vera on the Aloe Vera Studies Organization website ([link removed]) I thought I should try it for my acne problem. So, I found Fruit of the EArth Aloe Vera here and got it. It's wonderrful!
