Not for immediate results
I use this under my moisturizer during the day (with SPF) to combat any clogged pores coconut oil may give me. It works slowly in terms of clearing my skin but it does make it much smoother.

Pros:

Unclogged decongested pores
Gave skin a nice matte look
Glided on skin nicely

Cons:

Expensive!
Small bottle
Can only buy in select stores (Sephora, Nordstrom, etc.)

Overall I am very impressed with all of Peter Thomas Roth's products! This brand really knows how to make products that target an exact problem and really work! Although it is a bit expensive it is totally worth it because you are buying a quality product with ingredients that are good for your face. After a few weeks of using AHA/BHA acne clearing gel my skin looked flawless. I am so happy with the results and will continue to buy from this line! There are so many good products, i can't wait to try them all!

Pros:

Works very well! I got great results in a short period of time!

Okay, let me just start off by admiting that I don't actually own this product. However, I have used a couple times. I got samples of it at Sephora. You're supposed to apply this after washing your face. When you apply this, it won't burn, nor will it dry up your skin. I saw a HUGE difference just after the first time using the sample! If your are considering getting this product, I reccommend getting a sample first to see if it works for you! :)

Pros:

Works well, drys clean

Cons:

expensive

I got this in a trial/travel set of the PTR Acne line. It was my favorite product in the set. Along with the scrub (cleanser was way too drying) I use it only at night after washing with cetaphil and I'd say it's cleared me up 80%. I'm 23 and have had moderate acne since 13 so I have a TON of scaring on my cheeks mainly, I feel this product has started to lighten those scars. I still wake up with a white head or two but they are much smaller and clear up faster than before (I was using the acne.org BP) I use 2 pumps and dot it around then blend in because it dries pretty fast, which I love and it never bleaches my clothes/pillow. The main reason I like this better is because the tiny bumps all over my forehead are clearing up and they never did with any other product.

Pros:

Effective
AHA/+BHA Combo that works
Goes on Clear
Great as a spot Treatment aswell

Cons:

Price!
Can get sticky if you attempt to mix or put something over if not dry

Although it's pricey..it works! This is a wonderful tool in my acne regimen that already has BP and some sulfur in it throughout the day. The AHA and Sal Acid work great together and reduce size and redness of problem areas. I use it as a stand alone spot Treatment 2-3 times per week. I also alternate this instead of BP at least twice a week.

Pros:

Open blocked pores, exfoliates, evens skin tone and fades post-acne spots, shrinks pores

Cons:

a little drying- but fine with regular use of a moisturizer

This is a product that I used a couple years ago when battling a particularly bad breakout on my chin- it worked wonders- evening out my skin tone- exfoliating- opening and clearing blocked pores and blackheads. I abandoned it early this summer- seeking a more organic/natural line- BIG mistake- my skin went haywire with the new line- def blocking my pores all over my face :( So I recently went back to using this- literally three days ago (also adding in Clindamycin Phosphate Lotion 1% - 2 days ago) and WOW! I can't even believe the improvement and the acceleration of clearing- esp. on my chin. The most exciting thing is the major fading of some really embarrassing post acne red/purplish spots (particularly bad from picking- I know, I know- oops). The other products that must be helping the process is Mario Badescu enzyme cleanser, glycolic toner, and oil-free moisturizer, and PCA Rebalance moisturizer (used at night). Overall amazing results! Give it a try- hope it works for other people- I'm psyched- I've been through a slew of topical prescriptions over the last couple months that have only made my problem worse- clindamycin gel, benzaclin (discovered I'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide- that was fun), erythromycin gel, differin cream- and they were all horrible!- causing horrible redness, burning, peeling, big painful red pimples (which I never get). Bottom line- I have very sensitive skin- so if you are in the same boat- give this a try!! Hope it works for you :)
