Pros:

I wish I had found it earlier! This is a gentle but aggressive AHA that has left my mature acne prone skin supple and soft.

Cons:

the tube flexes a bit in the middle and can split over time. I use it often enough to wish it too came in a pump.

Between the 2 percent BP treatment from acne.org and this product I have skin that is aging with grace rather than skin I have to fight with on a daily basis. For this I am very grateful. The tube is large and the quantity very generous.

Pros:

• Fair price, you get a lot for the money
• No obvious smell

Cons:

• Failed as a spot treatment. I put it on a whitehead before bed and whitehead is still there today.

I got this for spot treatmeant and it didn't work. For body acne I want to give it more time. So far Clean & Clear with Salicylic acid is working for my body but I need another use for this batch than spot treatment. Princereigns works well for my body acne and smells great. I think it has the same active ingredient, Glycolic acid, as this AHA. So I'm thinking Dan's AHA will work too. If Dan's AHA does work it will be a more cost effective choice. One thing I like about Menscience daily face wash is that it has both glycolic & salicylic acids. Maybe some people need both AND benzoyl. hmmm

Pros:

moisturizing

Cons:

too moisturizing for people are not using BP and dont have the flaky skin issue.
with the same reason, I can't increase amount of AHA without getting greasy.

I think I am better off with salicylic acid. will never purchase this again, I will consider if it come up with another AHA product without moisturizing feature.

My skin burned, itched, my entire face swelled and I couldn't sleep for days! The area around my eyes swelled and I looked like a monster. I thought I was going to die from the burning. Even though I washed it off, it continued getting worse for the next 2 days. Then it started getting a little better... I just regret it so much now! It's a stupid idea to put acid directly on the skin. AHA is acid! Maybe it helps a little if you have wrinkles, but it makes acne worse. Don't use this stuff! Read the FDA reports on this stuff BEFORE using it! IT'S ACID. IT'S AN ALARMING IDEA TO PUT ACID ON THE SKIN.

Pros:

it has Alpha hydroxy acid

Cons:

IT IS ESTROGENIC.

Why would you add licorice estract, which is estrogenic? As a guy, I don't want more women's hormones.

Use it if you want, but there is a correlation between todays generation of ultra feminine men and the use of these estrogenic topicals/foods. F'ing waste of my money
