Pros:

Great spot treatment; brings pimples to a head quickly; great for hyperpigmentation, gets rid of flakiness and leaves skin soft and dewy. Great for bacne/doesn't bleach clothing.

Cons:

you may need to prepare your skin for glycolic acid before using this. it stings when you put it on, and my face gets a bit red. the product can ball up and it can be hard to apply make up afterwards (I splash water on my face to remove excess AHA)

When I first tried this product a year ago, I wasn't impressed. It stung and felt slimy on my skin. It did work well as a spot treatment for small pimples on my back, but for some reason I forgot about it. Since then, I've done lactic acid peels and switched to retin a micro to control my hyperpigmentation/non inflamed acne with moderate results. Anyway, I recently broke out and my skin was so dry from the retin a micro and badly needed moisture and exfoliation. I tried the AHA and had fantastic results. It healed my pimples, exfoliated and moisturized my skin, and the hyperpigmentation marks are fading much faster than usual. It seems like my skin is absorbing the AHA much better - which maybe due to all the other stuff I've tried. It also seems to work better when you use it on its own and give it ample time to absorb into your skin. I am loving this and if I keep getting these fantastic results I will throw out everything else I've been using. Thank you Dan!

Pros:

Smooths skin and helps clear and prevent acne

Cons:

ITS TOO GOOD :)

I'm feeling my face as I write this, well, not as I write but just before! This stuff is the most spectacular thing I have unleashed on my face and no there wasn't an initial breakout or some kind of burning or irritation, there is just results. My make up looks amazing, it just glides on (covergirl aqua smooth is the best) I will buy this as long as it is in existence, if your reading this and thinking about it, just try it and keep in mind everyone is different and these bad reviews may be from other other companies keep in mind..

Pros:

Evens skin tone, knocks out redness, exfoliates, cheap! and it works.

Cons:

NOTHING

I have used this stuff for a while now and unlike a lot of these reviews who are saying they have seen results in 1-2 days (c'mon, you need to give a product at LEAST 30 days to truly TRY it and determine whether or not its recommendable - 60 days is more realistic), it took me a while to truly LOVE this stuff because around week 2, my skin looks horrible as it was purging all the crap underneath the surface. What I mean by purging is not a "breakout" per se, but my skin looked rough and bumpy. Its been a long time since then and the gunk has worked its way pretty much out and my skin looks much, much better. Also, if I have to extract anything, this stuff erases the redness entirely. Thats GREAT! It also works great for breakouts on back/arms, which I suffer from and this has brought tremendous relief. Thank god for Dan - he is such a blessing for creating and making these products available to all of us. Try this stuff! Its great.

Pros:

lightens past marks (hyper-pigmentation) from past acne, makes skin super smooth, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, provides a glow to the skin

Cons:

NONE

this product is amazing! i use it at night as part of dan's regimen. it leaves my skin so soft and the pores have been reduced to nothing. even my skin seems visibly younger! i also put in on my chest at night due to sun exposure and have seen a great difference in appearance and fine lines. this is worth its weight in gold!

Pros:

Reduces pores, evens out skin tone, lightens dark spots, very good moisturizer (at night). Reduces blemishes and controls break-outs. Excellent product.

Cons:

In the beginning, a little oily. Stick with it, your skin will adjust over time.

I've always had manageable acne, but about four months ago it was borderline severe. I went on Epiduo (ouch), for almost 2 months. It helped to purge the few hundred zits under my skin and dry up the surface acne but I was left with very bad hyperpigmentation. My brown skin had dark spots all over it. My derm wanted me to spend almost $50.00!!! (1-2 month supply) for his office brand glycolic pads. I told him no thank you and started doing my research. Thankfully I found this product for a great price and it really really works!! My skin is smooth and it glows. I may get 1 -2 pimples after a drink, but only for a fews days; then they're gone with no marks left behind. For $16.00 it's worth a try, and if it works 1 tube should last a couple months or more. A little goes a long way.

Pros:

Works very well

Cons:

Stings slightly

I just received my AHA+ and within 24 hours of the first application my leftover red marks from previous acne have faded about 50%, as well as reducing the size and redness of current acne. You only need to use a tiny bit for each application, so the 6oz will last you a very long time. The only downside is that it tends to sting and make my face feel itchy, especially after shaving. This may subside over time. Overall, I think this is a very important key to any regimen.

Pros:

Love the product & have used it for 1 week, morning and night. Love it. Cleanse and then use this as moisturiser. Skin looks better already. Exfoliation rate seems faster than scrubs. Light powder tones down shine. Mac Studiofix applied with a brush

Cons:

Takes 10 to 15 mins to sink in so I apply it, do my hair and then apply make-up. Easy. May sting a little on application but it's mild and passes in seconds. Looked a little shiny at first so now use a little less product.

Great product. Use to spot treat or every day twice a day. Also use as a maintenance treatment after using the regimen.I've stopped the regimen for a while and find this keeps spots at bay. Use it on my face, neck and chest.

Pros:

Lightens past acne marks, slightly reduces forehead wrinkles (worry lines?), seems to prevent acne. Just an amazing product..

Cons:

The only thing I can think of is the smell, but honestly I love the small because I can smell the products that are being used and for some reason that comforts me.. lol

Just a great product.. You don't need much at all and you geta huge thing for 16 dollars.. I'd say try it. If your skin is really sensitive you might want to look up on it because it seems like it might be pretty intense.. Not sure on that though
