Pros:

clears up acne really well

Cons:

takes a lot longer than it says and the lotion makes your face super tight so u need to add a good moisturizer

i used this for about 3 months now and my forehead is completely clear! it took about a month to see results, but was worth it. Now i just have to get rid of acne scars

Pros:

Works SO FAST, completely dries up oily skin

Cons:

Sometimes a little too dry, BP feels like a mask until you get some moisturizer on there.

After browsing Acne.org, I decided I wanted to try the Regimen *without* investing in pricey BP that had to be ordered online, and the On-the-Spot cream didn't look very good either. This kit offers a 2.5% BP "lotion" as part of the set, so I tried it. Note that I HAVE NOT used the Cleanser, and only used the lotion for a day before picking up an Olay lotion because I thought it might moisturize better. I have been using a gentle med-free cleanser, applying the BP twice daily, and following with moisturizer as per the Regimen. So far: Very quick results in a day or two! I am still getting a few pimples, but they fade much quicker and bother me less than previously. Time will tell if the effectiveness holds out, but I am hopeful so far. The BP keeps my skin dry all day without the oily build-up I have always had in the past. I am very satisfied!

Pros:

My skin started clearing up immedietly and stayed clear.

Cons:

for the first few minuted after i put it on my face, it makes my face look all redish, but after five minutes, it went to the most beautiful color ever.

Buy the product. it works. it's awesome the longer you use it.

Pros:

The first week or so it seemed to really clear up my face. So i continued to use it morning and night as the package directed.

Cons:

after the first few weeks i starting getting 2-3 new whiteheads everyday, my major problem before were blackheads and cystic. It really seemed to be making my acne worse and a lot of dry skin. so i stopped using it.

It works well for a week or two, after that it makes things worse

Pros:

only the third day and noticed a HUGE improvement already!

Cons:

makes skin a little dry. Fixable with lotion.

My Brother used proactive when he was about 15 (21 now) and he cleared up almost over night. I used proactive when i was 12 (14 now) and it made my face DISGUSTING. I used clean and clear, but it dried my face out and left my face colorless. Used clinique, and that worked, but after a month, it stopped. and anyway, it wasnt worth the $50 price. After thinking i ran out of options, a girl in my gym class recommended this to me. Its my third day, and i cant believe the difference! All my little colorless bumps are gone, and ive got about 3 pimples on my face that are rapidly clearing up. This is AMAZING!

MAKE MY ACNE WORST
September 26, 2009

Pros:

Clears stubborn acne, leaves skin smooth, works relatively quickly.

Cons:

Medications leave skin a little dry and the chemicals have a tendency to age skin quicker -- need a GOOD night cream.

People write, "I have tried everything," and I am no different. I am 26 and have struggled with "stubborn" acne since I was 12. After a horrible turn with Proactiv (a product which I believe is very bad for your skin and would not recommend long-term to anyone) I went to pricey products that seemed to work well, i.e. Kate Somerville, Kinerase, Biotherm, Phytomer, and Erno Laszlo. With all of these products, my skin would look great for about a month and then would get used to the products and the acne would reappear. A few months ago I went to my beauty product go-to, Allure's Best of Beauty list, and read they suggested Neutrogena. In my years I had become a bit of a product snob, believing that the pricier, more organic products would be best. Alas, I was wrong. Neutrogena's acne kit has consistently made my skin beautiful. Hands down. I still use a Kate Somerville peptide cream at night to help reduce the dryness. Bottom Line: Neutrogena = Miracle.

Pros:

kept new acne from popping up

Cons:

The acne that i already had that nothing has even touched in helping it go away not the deratoligist not any RX meds not anything all the acne stayed it just I just didnt get more. I cant treat my skin to hars casue it peels off if I do

Didnt work that well I wish it did I have about given up on everything. Because NOTHING works even the doctors couldnt get it to go away. because when they would get my creams to put on my face it would clear it up but give me chemical burns and it would hurt so much i could not stand the pains o i had to stop using everything and by the time my skin grew back acne was back.

Pros:

-easy to use
-can purchase with your groceries
-WORKS!

Cons:

none!

I got this when I turned 17. I would get random pimples on my forehead. I have tried Proactiv, Clinique, DDF, retin-a micro, AcneFree, just to name a few. It's not vanity- it's desperation...you guys know what I'm talking about. I thought it was losing efficacy after about a year...but I was getting pimples because I was drinking wayy too much coffee, and eating sweets too sporadically. (Blood sugar is crucial when fighting pimples-research it) I'm back to using this during the day, with retin-a micro at night. I really like it!!
