Pros:

+Mostly cleared my skin
+A system with products that are all designed to work together
+Ease of use/relatively quick

Cons:

-Never cleared up my skin/red marks entirely
-Made my skin very red and irritated
-Because you can only get the components in a pack, I would end up running out of cleanser and having to buy more of all three even when I had extra of 2/3 compon

I've been using this for nearly two years now, and am only now switching as I've become aware of less irritating alternatives. The system was good, but it always irritated my skin, and even as it made my skin relatively clear, it did little to nothing for hyperpigmentation. Even when I didn't have acne, my skin was always red and ruddy. In the end I think this system was just too strong for me: the cleanser has SA and the "night" cream contains BP. Not recommended for sensitive skin types. Also, even as the price seems reasonable, you will find yourself building up extra bottles of the "day" and "night" creams as the cleanser runs out long before they do; in effect, you end up paying $20-30 just for cleanser. This is also a large part of why I am switching. I wish Neutrogena would sell these components separately.

Pros:

Cleared my skin. I saw a difference overnight. It feels great. The cleanser is gentle and the day moisturizer feels really really soothing, clean, and refreshing. It keeps my skin from drying out but doesn't make it shiny. The BP is very powerful.

I'd recommend the product. I tried proactive before and it dried my face out too much. With this stuff, the cleanser is gentle. Then the day cream keeps my face from drying out and makes it feel nice and looking healthy. Then at night time the benzoyle peroxide makes the acne really go away, but doesn't hurt my skin. I really really like this product.

Pros:

Good, easy system to follow, clears skin well, prevents zits

Cons:

Skin may be getting used to BP

I've never had bad acne, but it was enough to be annoying. Zits on my chin, jawline, and some on my nose drove me nuts. I also had terrible blackheads on my nose and cheeks. After using this for about 12 weeks now, I have noticed a significant difference from when I started. I break out much less now (usually only during stressful periods or when I'm not treating my body well), and my blackheads are all but gone. I still get a few zits here and there, but I'm wondering if the BP 2.5% is losing effectiveness. Overall, great treatment for mild to medium acne (in my experience).

Pros:

It works well, and it works fast. It's also been successful in stopping breakouts as soon as they start.

Cons:

The only con I noticed was the night cream makes my skin feel tight. But that goes away within 20 minutes, or so. And, I guess I wish the lotions had a little wider base. They fall over too easily on my counter. Minor issue. :)

I love this stuff. I wish I had this 20 years ago. My mom is in her 50's and has acne. I've been plagued with it since middle school, and now I'm in my 30's. This is the first thing that has really worked for me, and didn't dry my skin out excessively, or make me jump through alot of hoops. It's two steps, twice a day. Wash and moisturize. That's it. Within the first couple of days I noticed some improvement. By the end of the first week people were already commenting on how much better my skin was looking. I've had a few pimples try to rear their ugly heads, and after following the night routine, they're gone the next morning. (there was one that was a little more stubburn, but the rest haven't lasted through the night) I love this stuff. I'll keep using it as long as they make it. It doesn't dry my skin like other creams have (some people complained of it being exessively drying, but that could just be different skin types/different reactions).

Pros:

Works

Cons:

Drying

Is use it once in the day and once at night and use it EVERYDAY. You cannot miss a day or you will definitely not See any improvement. I have been using it consistently for almost two months and right now I only have about ten extremely small pimples on my forehead and two on my chin as apposed to the hundreds I had all over my face two months ago. I only get one pimple every few days as apposed to five new zits every day. I don't get cystic acne anymore, and all my black heads are gone. However This system is not perfect, in fact I can't even use the acne lotion anymore because it's way to drying and it makes me break out more and I had to switch it out for the "On The Spot Treatment" also it take like a month and a half to see any real results (so you have to be patient and just keep using it twice a day) but it definitely has improved my skin significantly. I think if I keep up this regime all my acne will be gone in a month or so. This stuff is the only thing that has worked for me, Clean and Clear sucked for me, so did Clearasil their kits were way too fragrant and harsh on my skin, so if your like me and have sensitive, normal/combo/oily skin then I recommend trying this kit out. Just remember be consistent! And Use it Twice a day, everyday!

Pros:

Can't think of a single thing.

Cons:

Drying and did not see any results.

I used this product for several months, as directed, until all the bottles ran out and saw NO RESULTS whatsoever. For the first two weeks it made my skin dry and flaky. After that, my skin returned to normal but I still had loads of breakouts and the products seemed to have no effect on them at all.

Pros:

The first week or so it seemed to really clear up my face. So i continued to use it morning and night as the package directed.

Cons:

after the first few weeks i starting getting 2-3 new whiteheads everyday, my major problem before were blackheads and cystic. It really seemed to be making my acne worse and a lot of dry skin. so i stopped using it.

It works well for a week or two, after that it makes things worse

Pros:

keeps my skin from developing really bad acne, makes skin nice and smooth

Cons:

takes a while to work on my skin, if I use the sunscreen lotion at night it makes my skin feel kind of greasy.

I've been using this product for about a week. So far, I'd say the whole "works faster than proactive" claim is a lie. But that isn't to say that the product doesn't work.
