it didn't help me at all... been using it for about three weeks now... no difference. TV ads a lie

Pros:

Reduces oil by a lot!

Cons:

Still have a slight dry shine in t-zone.

Its a great product, it works. I love it and cant live without it!

I started to use this in high school when I first started to break out. I mean I realllllly started to break out, never saw a pimple on my face until high school. Anyway, proactiv worked very fast. I've been on it for years and I love it. It is very cheap too, I don't know why everyone keeps saying its expensive...? It costs me $20 a month...I don't think its that bad. However, I do have really oily skin and its still shinny. I just moved to the city and my face just started to break out a little. I was going to used the oil control product but my skin is weird and I don't want to make it worse. Any ideas?

This product just didnt work for me. I bought the entire Proactiv system and used it twice a day. It worked for the first two weeks. I have very oily skin, and personally, this definitely did not decrease the oil at all.Everyone is different though.

Pros:

First month works awesome, matte tzone keeps skin fresh. Smell isnt bad and fresh feeling once applied to the skin.

Cons:

After a few months, my skin was use to this product and slightly helped with the shine but after about 2 hrs, my skin is oily and shiny, make up feels heavy, rubs, really doesnt do much.

I find if you are a first time user this product will be fantastic

I have very oily skin, one that leaves residue if rubbed against hands. My skin is extremely oily when i wake up and find that skin feels clogged throughout the day. I work full time and need to reapply make up twice a day properly and need to powder t zone about 4 times a day.

Cons:

Hard to smear on at times

T zone is shine free. Although it is hard to smear on at times because it takes awhile to sink in, it's still totally worth a 5/5.

Pros:

It works like magic! completely takes the oil out of my day

Cons:

it hard to find and re-buy

try it, if i doesn't work don't use it. But if it works for you its an amazing product!

It doesn't work for me and it's too expensive for what it does. At first I had oily skin so I used the oil control stuff and that made my skin dry. So then I used the moisturizer, and now it's making my skin oily. I saw little results it seems to make my skin pale. It totally sucks so I'm going to return it and get stuff from the hospital. You can try it and experiment with it but don't get your hopes up. It may work for you and it may not.
