Pros:

none

Cons:

I have been using this product for the past few months. It began to work at first but lately I have been getting really painful breakouts in spots I never have gotten them before. My acne has also worsened. It also make my skin look whiter after use.

Its horrible and definately not worth the money DONT USE IT!

Pros:

NONE theyre liars like the rest of them lol

Cons:

Dry dry skin the moisturizer sucks and so does the cleaning treatment i cant even feel it working

ive tried everything this is probably the worst product ive ever used. THIS TREATMENT WORKS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE ONE OR TWO ZITS OR YOU COULD JUST WASH YOUR FACE WITH SOAP AND WATER. This doesnt work for people with ACNE, keep trying. If somebody finds SOMETHING that works let me know? Ive been thinking of differin. Any comments? thanks

Pros:

The Proactive system cleared up my acne, in about 2 weeks of using it, and since using it my face is baby soft.

Cons:

The price is really the only con, and I'm nervous that if I stop using the system my acne will come back.

Basically, it's a great system. I went from having perfect skin, moved to a new location in Florida and my face broke out horribly, i tried other acne solutions but none worked so my dad got me Proactive and it really is a life savor! My acne has not returned even during a menstrual cycle, it did the first month, but not the second!!! I also don't use the products religiously, once a day I use the blue liquid, the repairing lotion, and the green tea moisturizer, i seldom use the cleanser. The 30 day supply has lasted about 2 months and I just ordered my second supply of it. Good luck!

Pros:

Works great, clears pimples well, and reduces redness to make pimple MUCH less noticeable.

Cons:

If you don't use it regularly, the acne will come back completely.

I think that the Proactiv 3 step process is a great product and really helped get rid of my acne. I may have one or two very small unnoticeable pimples left, but I'm willing to compromise with that, and it didn't leave me with dry skin at all. Overall this is a great product that I strongly recommend.

Pros:

In the begining it works and clears almost all you acne

Cons:

Turns your sick extremly white, makes skin extremely sensitive, it's smell gives you a head ache, very time consuming, if you stop using it acne becomes worse then before, if you use it too long skin becomes so sentive to everthing

Don't waste your money, I mean they have good ads but the product will destroy your skin and make it worse then before

Pros:

It seems to work at first, but immediately stops after the first 3 uses. Proactive Solution doesn't smell that bad, but the smell can still bother some people with sensitive noses and/or allergies. And it doesn't dry out your skin. Pain-free.

Cons:

It's expensive - not worth the price at all. Doesn't seem to work for people with skin like me. Way too complicated of a plan to stick to if you're using the 5 step-kit (like I was).

It didn't work at all. After my first use, I was so happy because it really seemed to work! Then the next day... I wanted to cry. It made my breakouts even worse than they were before and they hurt. I was so mad and I was just thinking to myself, what a waste of money. Now, I know that people have different skin types, so I'll believe it if this works for some people, and if it does, then that's great. Personally, I would not recommend trying it. If you must though, then I suggest you read reviews first and do a trial offer rather than just assuming that it works since the celebrities claim it does and just buying it without being able to get a refund. And also, don't get your hopes up. That goes for any product.

Pros:

It really works but it takes some time for it to actually see a benefit (about 2 - 3 weeks).

Cons:

You need to use other cleansing product to get make up off of your face. Proactive cleanser will not take off your make up as well as they advertise.

If you have mild to moderate acne, then this may be a right product for you. I don't think it works as well as prescription acne product but it does it's job. I don't recommend using this product for long term basis. I think your skin gets irritable after awhile. I say rule of thumb for this product is maximum of 6 months duration.

Pros:

Does work well in the beginning.

Cons:

Face cleared completely in two weeks, than totally flared up again and again. Cannot keep it clear for long. Over drying, no moisturizer strong enough to keep skin from flaking.

I spent a lot of money. I thought that if I was going to do this, then I was going to do this right. I bought their "Combination Therapy" kit, + the moisturizer, + the makeup removing cloths, + the night cream, and the acne spot treatment and all I have to show for it is a cabinet full of bottles and tubs that haven't done me a lot of good and three deep nodules on my cheek.

Pros:

ummm...the toner was okay

Cons:

dried out my skin, made me break out horribly even after using it for a month. smell!! yuckkkk

the first few days i was using this product it worked okay..but i was drying my skin out. then after a week of use i started breaking out like crazy, i thought that it was the "getting worse before it gets better" phase, but nope...i kept using it for a month and every single day i would wake up with a new pimple on my face. The pimpled were cystic and painful, and the left horrible scars. Then finally i stopped using it and started using clinique acne soultions and now my skin finally looks decent! my doctor was even like ohhh you shouldnt have used proactiv its not good. yah i didnt work for me... :(

Pros:

My skin felt smooth in most areas

Cons:

It did get rid of my acne.

I waited a long time to get enough money to buy proactive and I was disappointed because it didn't help and after the 30 day trial they end up sending me a 60 day. I didn't even know that I was going to get another one. My skin didn't get cleared up. It made my skin really dry.
