Pros:

smells nice, easy to use, helps with [some] pimples

Cons:

works only for SOME types of skin, doesn't prevent future pimples as promised (for me anyways), costs way too much

I'll start with the pros. It smells nice and it's easy to use (I'm reminded of Jessica Simpson exclaiming the short amount time it takes to use it). That's about it... Now the cons. I really did not see those "fast" results those people on the infomercials were boasting about, but the product did help manage SOME pimples. However, with one gone, another took its place a couple of days after. I also feel that the cost does not fit the amount they provide. It's way too costly in my personal opinion. Despite all this, I do believe that a lot of people have a had very good experiences with this product, so I guess it won't hurt to try (if you're rich). Who knows? You may be one of those lucky few whose skin clears up with Proactive.

Pros:

Clears up some acne. Affordable.

Cons:

Takes too long to apply.

Hearing of the problem with people having dry skin, I got the oil-free. I've only been using it for about 5 days, and I have seen changes, though no results. I had a lot of little pimples. They have gotten smaller but in their place, large pimples have developed (even though there's not as many). I really don't know if it's good or not.

Pros:

Smells great, cool packaging ;)

Cons:

Stops working after the first couple of weeks, after that your acne becomes worse.

Didn't work for me.

Pros:

It does work in terms of clear up the skin and clean out the acnes after only two usages.

Cons:

The cleanser is very gritty and I doubt if it actually irritate my skins. It STINGS and BURNS my skin BADLY...I felt the uncomfortness throughout the whole day...

I didn't have terrible acne when I was at early 20's, but just started have serious acne problem two month ago, especially on the forehead. Proactiv does work and I see immediate result, but it really made my skin feel uncomfortable, stings and burns very bad..but hey, if it clean up the skin better any other product, ppl would go for it...

Pros:

Clears it up for a time like no other medication I have tried.

Cons:

Doesn't last at all and they ship them automatically.

It just doesn't last...that really made me mad. They wanted to continue sending me products and no matter what I did, it just stopped working.

Pros:

Proactiv really works for me. I spent several years before switching to Proactiv using prescription drugs which were equally expensive but not equally effective. I have recommended Proactiv to several of my friends.

Cons:

Yes, it's very expensive and if I could find a cheaper product, I would use it.

I would highly recommend Proactiv. I had terrible acne before I started using it and now I rarely have more than one or two small blemishes at a time. I was extrememly skeptical before I tried it becuase I had spent so long using prescription drugs to no avail, but it really did work. If you can afford it, I would recommend you try it. And if you find a cheaper substitute, let me know!

Pros:

works pretty good

Cons:

smells bad, can over dry at times, shipping is ablsolutely rediculous, too expensive

i use proactiv and it werks. however it has some flaws in a few areas. shipping policy-REDICULOUS. i called the company up because i was running out within 8 weeks of getting it. i wasn't getting it until ten weeks because altho they ship in 8 weeks it takes 2 to get here. anyway, they suggested i move my shipping date back 2 weeks. so i asked them what that would do to the billing arrangement. they said in oder for me to receive it in 8 weeks i would have to move it back to every 6 weeks shipping and send the payment every four weeks to ensure that it would be shipped on time. BOTTOM LINE: the product i am already paying $60.00 every 6 weeks for just became $60.00 once a month. it is rediculous, they certainly aren't sayin that on their info mercials. i pay enough for this sh*t as it is. so now i guess i'll have to put up with the break out again every 6 weeks. as well i now think my skin is reliant on it. i break out without using it almost immediately. must be good for the skin:/

refining mask
I have only tried the refining mask and if i dabbed a bit on a spot and left it over night it really helped to reduce the size and redness!
