Pros:

It works if you do it regularly.

Cons:

Miss using it a couple of times, your acne comes back worse. Have to order from away.

If you are someone who is able to clean your face twice a day, and keep to a routine, then this is the product for you. If you have a funny schedule and sometimes miss a day of cleaning, you're bound to wake up with big boils. Also, I didn't like that you were not able to get it locally.

Pros:

less acne in 1-2 weeks,but not 100% clear.

Cons:

becomes ineffective after a year.
really dries up skin in the first few months and then your skin kind of become too oily after that.

I think proactive is very effective IF you're using it for the first time,but it will be less effective after some time and you need to change to something else.

Pros:

just great dude!.. I just ordered the exfoliant andddd deep cleaning thingy, we'll see how that goes

Cons:

got a bit dry for a while, now I team the spf15 moisturiser with some nivea stuff, all good haha

I love proactiv! I am 16 and first started using it when I was about 14, unfortunately my Dad stopped paying for it (can't remember why) so I had to make do without it.. But started up again a few months ago and LOVE IT!.. I have (or rather - HAD) moderate acne, basically all around my chin, but my goodness there are only the occassional pimples now, that clear up overnight, it's great!.. Also the scarring is slowly but surely disappearing, how awesome is that!? I recommend only using the repairing lotion once a day though, and with moisturiser because it really does dry you up if used excessively, and I don't use the mask for the same reason. Overall, if you want to feel better about your skin and yourself, I'd say go for it! =)

Pros:

It made my skin feel soft and smooth. It also controlled my pimples. The redness in my face decreased alot also.

Cons:

I got nodules and cysts only after stopping Proactiv.
It never got rid of my acne completely, but it controlled it.

I liked it alot but I started getting more pimples because of a stressful situation and I thought it was because of the regimen. I then used Skin Id but I am going back to Proactiv because the others didn't work and I haven't used it in a few years.

Pros:

Keeps my skin Clear and acne free. The mask works great to quickly clear up acne. I Get complements on my skin.

Cons:

If you stop using proactive, your acne comes back with a vengeance. It's as if it become addicted. When I stopped using it I got horrible cystic acne. Which I had never experienced before.

I have used Proactive for several years and would like to switch to a more natural product that is less harsh. I didn't have horrible skin before using Proactive, but it was very oily and very prone to acne. Proactive made my skin look great and I was it's biggest cheer leader. As I got older and more concerned about chemicals and toxins, I decided to switch to a more natural skin care product. Wow, my skin exploded with cystic acne, concentrated along the chin line. As I did more research on this I found that I was not the only one with this problem when going off Proactive. It's as if our skin becomes so dependent on this product that when we stop, our body has no natural defenses against acne. I switched to other very good skin care products for three months but went back to Proactive because of the horrible acne. It took three more months using Proactive to get it totally under control. I have done more research and am determined to stop using Proactive.

Pros:

love this product worked on my blackheads , little zits and more.

Cons:

the smell of the mask and the three step is tiring! costs alot for three little bottles and the mask =(

Pros:

cleared up some acne.

Cons:

Didn't do wht it said it was supposed to. Dryed out skin.

This product doesn't work very well. My skin is always very dry and it bleaches everything. It does help a little bit, but I am looking for something different to try.

Pros:

less blackheads and less whiteheads
pimples clear up faster
easy to use, takes 3 minutes

Cons:

can make skin look shiny, its not oil not sure what it is
can burn open skin and bleach sheets and pjs
requires daily use to keep up benefits

I have been using this product on and off for 12 years. It always works well for me. I agree with other statements that when you go off it you start to break out again. I cannot use it in the summer because I work outside and it makes skin VERY sensitive to sun light! I only use the products at night and that seems to cut down on the shiny skin look. It BLEACHES everything it touches, sheets, pillowcases, pj, towels, so only use white ones! I have used several other acne products, all the drug store brands (oxy) and they really make me peel and burn when applied, department store brands (clinique, estee lauder, lancome). This is the best I have found. My acne is hormonal so I have no problems for 2 weeks and then wham my face get blackheads, whiteheads and sometimes painful cystic pimples. My current dermatologist said to use works because she is out of ideas. You can get it on QVC cheaper, it is much cheaper if you get the kits. The silver tube (advanced treatment?) is my favorite.

Pros:

took away most of the pimples from my forehead. my skin is a bit more smooth now i guess

Cons:

made my skin more oily, doesn't prevent new pimples like it said it does i still get new ones, seems not to be working anymore.

it's okay i guess. it really depends on the person using it as to whether or not it will work. i am going to keep using it with the hope that it will eventually work and get rid of all of my pimples.

Pros:

good scent

Cons:

SUCKS!!!

I used this product for 2 years, and saw no results. In fact, my acne got worse. I spit on ProActiv. I am now using the clean and clear advantage kit and it is cheaper and it actually works. F**k ProActiv! Do not buy it. You are just wasting money. It costs $50 per shipment, so it's not worth it.
